I know what you're thinking, "hey look there's a gas station right off the exit!" And that, right there, is your first mistake. If you're reading this review, I'm going to assume you're not from Charlotte, because most of us who live here already know how it is. Circle K isn't exactly known as the mark of quality around here, and this particular location is among the worst ones in the whole city. Not only is the store and area sketchy as you-know-what, but it's also next door to a crackheads-and-hookers motel, AND there's always a ton of hobos hanging around, because an entire group of them live around back and in the surrounding wooded areas, and when they're not all strategically positioned at each interstate exit, this is where they'll be - especially at night. You WILL be hit up for money, you WILL see something sus going down (drug deals, hookers, gangsters, all manner of scum and villainy), and you absolutely will wish you went anywhere else for your gas, smokes, or snacks by the time you roll outta there.
Take my advice: keep on cruising past this exit, there's way better options at the next one - no matter which way on I-77 you're going! Everybody from Charlotte knows what Nations Ford Rd. is, and you, intrepid traveler, have now been warned. read more
