Circle 7 is my favorite restaurant. I have been dining here for over 10 years. Time and time again, I am blown away by the amazing food and drink quality and top tier service. I have never had a bad dish here - there is something for everyone on the menu. The second your drink gets low, you are given a refill or asked if you want another one, there are plates, napkins, & ketchup placed on your table right after you order your meal, and any empty plates/trash are cleared immediately - it's little things like this that really separate this spot from the rest. Our server tonight, Tyler S, was especially great - he answered questions some of our new-to-Circle 7 friends had about the menu, promptly got us refills on drinks, and just went above and beyond. We came in on a weekend for lunch and had to wait about 15 minutes for a party of 4. We were excited to try the taps at the booths, but unfortunately we weren't able to sit at one. Regardless, the food was super yummy! Service was good overall. - The GOAT burger (4.5/5): delicious!! Love the flavors, with the avocado and goat cheese. The crunchy onion adds the perfect texture. Burger was juicy, so good. - Smoked brisket nachos (3.5/5): pretty good, typical nachos. Had a good amount of toppings. It was good but nothing special - Salted caramel brownie (3.5/5): brownie was super dense, almost a bit too sweet with the chocolate sauce. But great pairing with ice cream. Okay, let's be honest, the parking situation is tough! But once you are inside, the goodness happens. My sisters and I met for happy hour. Our waitress was kind and patient as we started with more talking than menu browsing. We ordered several apps and snacks and brews. I tried a couple of the nonalcoholic beers and cocktails and, unfortunately didn't care for them much...strange aftertaste. But our food and drinks came quickly and the food was universally delicious. Be aware about the twice backed potato skins, though, they are hardly "skins," these are full potato boats! Very yummy, but huge! Our waitress brought us each receipts that evenly split our food four ways and applied our individual drinks to us respectively, which really made closing out our table easy, something we very much appreciated since none of us wan5 to do a bunch of math just to settle up. One of our favorite go-to restaurants in STL! The atmosphere and food always have my wife and I coming back for more. I ordered the fajita tacos for the first time and this is a dish I would get again! They were loaded tacos and I love their rice and beans. Circle 7 Ranch in a weekend without a call ahead was a little bit of a wait. I typically eat a little earlier so we caught a decent crowd, a much louder crowd and blaring radio made conversation at the table difficult. I ordered the steak and my salad, though ordered to come out before the meal, came out at the same time which was disappointing. The usual sauce was barely visible much less being able to taste it, and the steak was done medium to medium well done instead of medium rare. Unfortunately I was going out of town the following morning and still had packing to do and we were already starving. I expected a bit more bring a loyal customer there so it was not a great visit. I'm giving 3 stars because I know it's not their usual and I hope they can redeem themselves my best trip. read more

The food is usually good but service can be hit or miss. They run some good happy hour specials throughout the week. I recommend the corn fritters and pretzels! Service was slow and lacked attention at my last visit. Thankfully we weren't in a rush. Food was pretty good, a little above your typical bar food. Burgers are always a great choice. I also love the wraps. This visit I tried the tacos due to Taco Tuesday. They run about a dollar less than on the normal menu. They were good but overpriced compared to better taco places in the area. Great place for happy hour or to watch a game as TV's are everywhere! read more

We love going to Circle 7 and I love that you can join their waitlist on Yelp! We were there for happy hour a couple weeks ago for the Mizzou bowl game. We knew it would be busy so we put our name on the waitlist before we left the house and when we arrived our table was ready. I love sitting at the large booths because they are roomy. We are total fans of Circle 7! We went to Circle 7 after our daughter's basketball game at Parkway West. We were seated right away. They were very busy. I can't blame our server for the extra few minutes it took to get our drink order. They were just slammed. It was roughly 7:30. I went with the 2nd shift Brewligans IPA. Really good! We started with the pickle coins. An absolute must! I don't know where they get their ranch dressing from, but I could drink it. Full disclosure. I picked the Frisco melt with tater tots. Very good, but a little dry. I asked for extra thousand island on the side and that was the ticket! My husband had the fiery chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Yes, it is spicy. My daughter chose the steak tacos. She loved them! But they are so filling she took 2 of the 3 home. Circle 7 is a tried and true spot that has plenty to choose from! read more

There on 6/13 for lunch. I order a classic burger after asking if it would be cooked "medium ". It came well done, dry and smaller than expected. I told the waitress and she asked if I wanted a new one. Since I was half way through this hockey puck (2 patties) I said no. Service was fine, not great. On the way out I heard another customer also complain about her burger. Not nearly the quality that I have experienced here on previous visits. We came around 12:30pm today and we're seated promptly, no wait. We love to see that!! We were greeted quickly by our server and asked if we wanted a starter. We grabbed some Dirty Fries. I didn't get a chance to take a picture because they were gone in a few minutes. So good!! I got the Buffalo Chicken Salad and although it was good, I'm only giving 4 stars because the chicken was saturated in Buffalo sauce. I like to taste my lettuce with salads like these and I couldn't experience other flavors aside from the Buffalo sauce. I would still get it, but either ask for the sauce on the side or light Buffalo sauce. Everyone loved their dishes, the GOAT burger, Mac & Cheese, and the Hawaiian sandwich. I heard no complaints. Part of the fun is sitting in a booth where you can pour your own glass of draft, and pay by ounces. Although limited to 3 tap varieties at the table, you can order from a wide selection of drafts or bottles from your server, which was friendly and courteous with a smile. Today we sat on the outdoor patio, perfect summer ambience! Tried Buffalo wings as starter, had good saucy flavor but I prefer wing meat that falls off the bone, so while these were meaty and tasty, I think it could've been a little more well done. Moving onto the burger, I ordered a Frisco Melt ...two fresh patties with American and Swiss cheeses with 1,000 Island grilled on sourdough bread, yummy!! Ordered with side of homemade loaded pub chips, so don't count the calories for this meal! Burger was tasty! Also shared a Cobb salad, fresh grilled and sliced chicken breast with bacon, tomato, avocado, cheddar, bleu cheese and black bean salsa, plus choice of dressings. But TOP honors today went to the shared dessert of Salty Caramel brownie with 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream - WOW says it all!! So good yet we couldn't finish it among the table. My family has been going to Circle 7 since shortly after it opened. We're not regulars, but we go there a number of times a year for lunch or dinner. The food is good and consistent. The service is good. I don't think I've ever had something there that I didn't like. There are a lot of options on the menu! I'm not a beer drinker, but for those who do, they have taps at some of the tables. They also have a full bar and tasty cocktails. It can get a little loud sometimes, but not too bad. There are a lot of tables, but it's a popular place and there can be a wait One of my daughters and I went there for dinner last night. They have a Taco Tuesday menu and we ordered from that. It was good - I forgot to take pics! My only complaint- and it has nothing to do with the restaurant - is the parking situation. The parking lot is nowhere big enough to accommodate all the businesses there at busy times of the day. The food is good and the drinks are tasty - no reason not to go! read more
