Have enjoyed Circle 7 in the past, but our recent visit was terrible. The bbq chicken salad used to be a favorite. This visit it was half the size of what it used to be, sparse on toppings and bland. Very disappointing. My husband used to like their burgers. This time the burger was hard and dry and seemed like it had been rewarmed. Not good or freshly cooked at all. Very disappointed to grab dinner and see that no staff are wearing masks. This includes the kitchen and bar. We patronized them weekly during the lockdown. There is a mask mandate in effect, which I mentioned to an employee, only for him to tell me that's not true. This is the kind of place making life hell for hospital staff. Got to Circle 7 for lunch today on a beautiful low humidity August day in St. Louis. We were told the outside seating wasn't available because they low server turn out. We had a nice server, however she was running around taking care of too many people, so I don't fault her. My "grilled shrimp" tacos were not grilled. The shrimp with sautéed or boiled then thrown in the sauce. It tasted all right, but when you want grilled shrimp, you want grilled shrimp! My sides came out cold, so I had to send them back to the kitchen to be re-heated. Extensive menu, good portion sizes, But the food didn't make me want to run back anytime soon. read more

We came on a Wednesday afternoon and were greeted by a friendly hostess. After we were seated, it took quite some time to get service and the restaurant was not very crowded. The Happy Hour menu was available all afternoon, (a nice perk,) but was not presented to us by the server, however we found it on the menu. The Boneless Chicken Wings were more like chicken chunks and were delicious! Toasted Ravioli were also good, however I'd suggest serving the marina sauce warm, as it was served cold. Service was slow until our server asked if she could ring us out as her shift was ending. We told her that was fine. She became extremely friendly at that point which was unfortunate as the inattentive service was the only downfall. She told us that Nick would be available if we needed anything else. We continued to eat and drink and Nick never stopped at our table. I was finally able to flag down a server to order another beverage and he came over to say our previous server told him we were leaving. He apologized and was very friendly. He was attentive from that point. The highlight was the food and cold beer and the lowlight was the service, specifically Server listed on receipt as "Bar A" (we did not get her name). My Burger and Chips were good. But, My Mom had there Zwickel Beer Battered Fish with fries and the Fish was more breading then fish and the fries were Chewy. She also ordered a Bloody Mary and they didn't add Olives or Celery to it. They also sat us at a table but, never gave us silverware or napkins. Worst service ever. read more

Stopped here based on the Yelp reviews and the recommendation from the hotel. I ordered take out and ordered the B2C2 and had a local brew while I waited for my takeout order. The order came out real fast which is not the norm when you order take out so I rushed a little to finish the beer. The burger was excellent. Had plenty of flavor to it. The fries were decent I just wasn't in the mood for a lot of fries. Also I don't think they were fresh cut fries but regardless I wasn't to into eating them anyway. The ones I did have were seasoned nicely and had plenty of flavor. This will probably be the only time I come to the state but if by chance I do come back I would eat here again. read more

Meal began with Buffalo chicken dip. It was excellent. Husband kept saying "man this is good!" Brian had a salad with his rib eye steak and fries. The steak had excellent flavor and was very tender. I had 1 lb if dry rub wings. Really enjoyable and meaty wings. Both of us are taking leftovers home. So happy to have stopped at Circle 7 Ranch. We will be back for sure. read more

My sister and I were scrolling through Yelp looking for a new place to eat tonight and I remembered bookmarking this place and really wanting to try it. We got there and were seated immediately. This restaurant is pretty big place, very nice inside and out, and has that "ranch" feel. It was cool how some of the tables had 3 beer taps, so you can pour your own beer. Overall had plenty of options of beer on tap to choose from at the bar. Our server was also very friendly and nice. I ordered the " Smokehouse Burger", which is 2 burgers, pulled pork, beef brisket, 2 layers of cheddar cheese, onion strings, and BBQ Sauce. It was incredible and all the flavors together worked so perfectly and it melted in my mouth. Best burger I have had in a while. My sister got "The Number Juan", which is chicken, lettuce, tomato, honey Dijon, pepper jack cheese and jalapeños. She decided to substitute chicken for turkey. That was very delicious as well. The fries were just ok, too soft for my liking. I loved how they branded the top bun of the burgers. I loved eating here and loved the food, it deserves 5 stars and I will be back soon to try their "OMG Burger", which is a 5 hamburger burger. read more

Do not get To-go food from here! I eat here often but I won't be back after this experience. We ordered 3 chicken salads and other items for my family, that I thought would be great for dinner. When I got home the salads were literally the size of a side salad with a chicken tender on it. After calling up to ask for the manager to make it right, he said he would refund me back and apologized. (I said thank you for your help) We never received a refund. Go Figure. read more

Never, ever, belive the wait time that is listed for this location on Yelp. We continue to come here because we love the food, we also continue to use the Yelp wait list...even though they don't utilize it like any other restaurant in town or the way Yelp intends for it to be used. Example, I signed on today for a "less than 5 minute wait", party of 2. We arrived and were 2nd in line. My visits here have been hit or miss. Positives: Fiery honey shrimp appetizer, french fries, steak salad, unique beer taps at table, sometimes good service. Negatives: this seems like a steak place, and it kinda is. Their steak salad was very good. However steak (ordered as an entree) was cooked incorrectly, and I experienced trouble sending it back. Finally, please consider offering a baked potato side (in addition to twice baked and smashed, just baked, please). My worst experience was recently at lunch, ordering a medium rare steak while on the patio with a date. Medium rare steak should have a red center that is warm. Twenty minutes after ordering, my dish came out overcooked. I kindly showed it to the waitress, and she agreed. Waitress apologizes, goes to kitchen, then comes back out again with my steak and a picture of my steak taken in the kitchen with her phone. She says the color is better in kitchen, chef says the steak's correct, I surely agree now, right? No I don't. Had I even tried it? Yes, yes I had. It was medium well. I gently explain that the texture is very different when medium well instead of medium rare. That the steak is cooked medium well, and is not pink and warm in the center like a medium rare steak. She very reluctantly agrees to take it back inside, says she'll get me something to snack on meanwhile (but then never does). My date has finished his meal by now, a full 45 minutes later. It's almost 2:00 PM. Finally, my steak comes out. It doesn't quite moo, but it's barely cooked, is raw and quite cold inside, the standard definition of rare. I slice it open and show this to my waitress, who is hovering. She asks me if it's okay now, and as I don't want to cause any more issues, I say, "sure". She ends by saying, "well, we call this steak 'rare' around here(!). You'll know for next time". I've given up on ever getting a medium rare steak out of this kitchen. I ate a few very rare bites, paid for my lunch, and left hungry. I won't ever order a steak here again, as I found the experience frankly both humiliating and uncomfortable. read more

I ordered several apps and the seared tuna over spinach with walnuts and cranberries. Good flavor on the tuna all ingredients were fresh. The pretzels with cheese, very good sauce. The shrimp were fried and dipped in a sauce, they were proper. Fried pickles were very good as well. Server was very attentive and pleasant. I will return for certain.
