Always clean, quick service, and great employees. Every experience here is a good one.

    Half order of ultimate nachos

Tacos for life is a decent fast casual establishment with locations around st louis and st charles counties. I stopped by the Manchester rd location in Winchester mo on Thursday evening. Ordering a Baja fish taco $5.29 and a half order of nachos without meat 6.89 . The taco was tasty and the fish crunchy. The nachos I found to be about average in taste the proportion size for a half order was just right.

Went to a new location of on Manchester for a late lunch today. Super cute deco, friendly staff, same great food. I did the "Dine and Dip" option, where you get two tacos and a side of "dip" (salsa, queso, or guac). For my tacos I chose the Korean BBQ and Mango Habanero. The habanero was definitely spicy, but good. My favorite of the two was the Korean BBQ. (Forgot to take a pic before eating ‍). Bonus of eating at Tacos 4 Life, proceeds go to helping projects around the world to feed the hungry. A mission worth supporting! Two locations to choose from...stop by and support the mission, see the cool decor, and eat some great food.

I would give them a 3.5 if we could give half stars. I love Mexican food and was looking forward to trying Tacos 4 Life. I went there to have lunch with a friend. It's a fast casual place. You order at a counter and they bring the food to your table. The tacos are normal sized - not street tacos. They have a thing where you can get two tacos and chips with a dip (queso, salsa, or guacamole) for $9.99. It was plenty of food for me. The place is big with lots of seating and bright colors. The employees I interacted with were all okay, but not friendly necessarily. The guy in the dining room kept it cleaned up. The food tasted fine but nothing special. The tacos had quite a bit of lettuce and not a lot of meat. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back, but I won't avoid it either.

Tacos 4 Life did their soft opening over the weekend & we had a wonderful experience. We arrived during our designated window & joined the short line to order our food. We had a limited menu - as it was a soft opening - but we were ready to try the tacos either way! The staff was very nice & helpful with our questions. I ordered the Mango Habanero Chicken Taco, Blackened Mahi Mahi Taco & Black Beans. My husband ordered the Blackened Mahi Mahi Taco, Fried Chicken Taco & Queso Rice. We were both incredibly happy with the taco portion size, filled with plenty of each protein & other flavors that popped nicely. I enjoyed both tacos, but the Mango Habanero Chicken Taco really stood out. Great flavor, subtle sweet heat & the chicken was pulled famously. My husband was really thrilled with the Fried Chicken Taco - he said he would 100% come back just to have this one again. The restaurant itself is vibrant with colors, spacious & very clean. You definitely wouldn't have known it was their soft opening as our experience was great from start to finish. We look forward to coming back again once they are fully open!

My 1st time at this place and my wife has been here before. Thought it was great! Freshly prepared tacos for me with a salad & Firecracker Shrimp taco for my wife. The 3 tacos I had were: Spicy Chorizo, Chicken Bacon Ranch & Chicken Fajita. Also ordered a side of queso & chips. Each soft shell seemed freshly prepared, chock full of lettuce, tomato & guacamole in addition to the underlying chicken in each. Nicely seasoned as well, neither too hot nor not spicy enough, I thought they were just right!. And 3 tacos were plenty for this grown man for lunch! My wife's salad also looked freshly prepared as was her shrimp taco, no complaints. I think this place will do well. Not high priced, food is delicious and comes out quickly. Nice & clean inside, friendly wait staff. Definitely worth a try!

    Food changes everything! Love it.

I recently visited Tacos 4 Life in Ballwin for the first time. As a new establishment, they bring more to the table than just food--part of their mission is giving back, with a portion of each purchase going toward meals for those in need, which I really appreciated. The setup is casual: you place your order at the counter, and if you dine in, the food is brought to your table. Service was friendly and efficient, with minimal small talk--just the way I like it. They have a good selection of tacos, sides, and non-alcoholic drinks. Here's a breakdown of what I ordered and how it rated: * Ultimate Nacho Taco (4/5): This taco is basically the Taco Bell Double Stuffed, but on steroids. It hit all the right spots for me. It's not the best taco ever, but for what it was, it delivered. * Korean BBQ Steak Taco (3.25/5): The sauce flavor was spot on, capturing the right Korean BBQ notes. But beyond that, the taco was a miss. It came with iceberg lettuce and crispy wontons, which felt out of place--no traditional Korean ingredients like gochujang or kimchi. This could have been so much better with just a few tweaks. * Firecracker Shrimp Taco (1.5/5): Unfortunately, this one was a disappointment. The shrimp was overcooked and dry, and there was no sauce to bring it all together. It ended up being a dry shrimp taco with pineapple and lettuce, which didn't work for me at all. * Queso (3.5/5): I appreciated that the queso was a step above your typical bright yellow nacho cheese sauce. It did break down a bit in the bowl, but the taste held up. * Salsa (3/5): The salsa was what I expected--sweet, tomato-forward, and not spicy. It's not bad, but I'd take Chipotle's salsa over this any day. In my opinion, Tacos 4 Life feels tailored to white suburban communities in the Midwest and Southeast. Growing up near the border in Arizona and being a lifelong fan of authentic Mexican food, this place didn't quite hit the mark for me. That said, I can see why it might appeal to others who are looking for something more Americanized.

I thought it was kind of an odd name for a taco joint, but I get it now after eating there. They donate a certain amount or some food for people in other countries. The staff was very helpful and friendly. You order at the counter, and it is brought to your table. There are many different options for tacos and they are delicious. The inside is spacious and very clean as.well. Do it!!

It was our first time here. Tacos4life in Ballwin just opened last Tuesday. You can get a free taco when you download their app and sign up for reward program. The restaurant was clean and spacious. Service was friendly. We both got the Dip&Dine $12.99 which including 3 tacos and 1 dip, and a kid meal - chicken and queso rice bowl with a drink. For dip, I loved Guac a lot more than Salsa. For taco, I really liked firecracker Shrimp (spicy), blackened Mahi mahi, crispy eggplant, and Hawaiian shrimp. When you order shrimp, you can choose grilled or fried shrimp. I ordered both to try and imo grilled shrimp is much better. The Korean BBQ taco tasted good, but the beef was chewy and dried. I didn't like mango habanero taco as much as I thought. Highly recommend - especially when you buy a taco, you provide a meal to a hungry child.

I decided to try Tacos 4 Life on a recommendation. I stopped in during a week day for dinner, and upon arriving and seeing the store front and signage, I was rather excited by the bright neon presentation. Upon entering the restaurant and walking to the counter, it took around 5 minutes to be greeted and have my order taken. I ordered cheese and bean burritos, and the spicy chorizo tacos, and was given a placard to take to a seat of choosing, the staff brought my meal to my table shortly thereafter. The bean and cheese burritos were rather unseasoned, the taco sauce being offered really helped kick up the flavor, the dip offered with the chips that come with the bean burritos had a nicely seasoned bean and cheese combo that was slightly cumin forward. The chorizo tacos were stuffed with ground meat, street corn, and topped with deep fried jalapeños, the fried jalapeño was crunchy, the street corn crumbly and soft, the flours had the flavor and texture of your average grocery store tortillas, the ground meat was cumin and paprika forward with a hint of garlic, a little more chili seasoning than typical American tacos, which helped elevate the otherwise average ground meat experience. Overall I'd compare the experience to del taco wrapped in a shiny hi-point style theme. Nothing amazing here, but if you're looking for a different offering of American tacos than taco bell it gets the job done.

Lots of good choices. Pretty large dining area. Love that they donate part of their profits to charity. Bus girl was very efficient taking used dishes away.

Crab taquitos are creamy and rich. The crisp outside provides a good contrast to the filling. Very tasty! The chicken fajita quesadilla is bit more fajita than chicken, but seasoned well and balanced with the cheese. The Big A** Nacho, I swapped chicken for the Chorizo. It reminds you of a thin and crispy crust pizza. It's quite good with the beans, cheese, sour cream drizzle. It's big enough for 2 to share or 1 person to eat 1/2 and take some home. Session does a good job turning the orders around quickly for the lunch hour, but you might need 1hr and 15 min to safe. Enjoy!

The guacamole was the only decent option, in my opinion - the queso had no flavor and tasted like straight Velveeta, while the salsa was very watery and tasted of straight cilantro (and I normally like cilantro, but this was... a lot) Tacos came out and they were cold. The flavors themselves weren't bad, but it was nothing spectacular. The street corn was also decent, but not great. It was *very* charred. I didn't try any of the drinks, but those in our group agreed the margaritas weren't good. I'm not sure I'll be back. It's too bad, because it sounds like prior to the rebrand, this was a great place.

This restaurant is easy to get too, has adequate parking and the restaurant itself is casual and inviting. The staff welcomed us and were very friendly and attentive.
