I love a good Shawarma and have been wanting to go to this place for a while. It definitely did not disappoint. Service was quick. I called in my order and the gentleman took my call was polite and when I arrived, they confirmed who I wasn't said it would be up shortly. After looking over the menu again, I asked if I could order some grape leaves I said no problem. Food was outstanding. The french fries were crispy on the outside fluffy on the inside and I am a french fry junkie! The Arayes is kind of like an Arab version of a quesadilla in my opinion, and it was very good. I went with the spicy version garlic sauce and it had a little kick- if you like that kind of thing- and I do! What really convinced me this place is legit were the grape leaves. Now first let say the best I've ever had are my mom's and when I see this item is on a menu I always get them! They almost always fall short of the mark- even When in high end restaurants! The guys here told me they were made in house after tasting them I would have to agree- they were pretty darn good and would order them again! You can't fake something like that. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and I will be back to try some of the other items.

I usually ordered takeout here so I can't speak to their service. Previous orders were good. Yesterday, I ordered the mixed shawarma plate and beef shawarma arabi. Both of the chicken and beef were super dry to the point that hard to swallow.... Pistachio baklava was decent. Pretty disappointed!

This place has probably the best Shawarmas in St Louis . The sauce is out of this world. It's like thousands islands on a 1000. The crispiness of the wrap is unmatched. It was like biting into a great tasting grilled cheese sandwich. I got a beef and also a chicken. I'm partial to the beef but the chicken is just as great too. And the sandwich insides stayed for a nice while too Check them out !!

Another terrific meal! Counter service was friendly, courteous, prompt and helpful. Food: - Chicken "original" shawarma in the Saj wrap, fries and drink lunch special (4.25/5): GET THIS! Fantastic flavor combo in the wrap. Saj wrap is perfect for this sandwich. Sauce, chicken, veggies, all worked together. Served with tasty pickled carrots and pickles. Slaw and fries were a bit average, but still tasted decent. Best shawarma in the area? Maybe.

This restaurant is relative close to our house and we decided to try it on a whim. I've had shawarma a handful of times before so I was excited to try this place. For the price, you definitely get your money's worth! You get a giant portion of the protein you ordered, hummus, salad and pita bread. The food was brought out quick. For being located in a strip mall, this place was good. The cashier was friendly and made great recommendations. Everything was relatively clean and we will be back when we want something quick to eat!

There are a few Shawarma places which I will drive 4 hours to reach, but this is one of them. Easy to find, in a good neighborhood flanked with residential and other worldly shopping opportunities, makes it a happy little corner of STL. We were greeted by cheerful fellas chopping fresh veggies next to chubby toddler sized cones of fresh meat happily spinning on a grill. The guy manning the counter grabbed samples of every single bread and sauce for us to make an educated decision as first-timers. We had the Arabic Shawarma in both chicken and beef. Both were phenomenal. They gave us additional sides and even more of their delicious sauces for dipping and enjoying. Super friendly staff and incredible food. Not much more needs to be said about this great place.

I ordered the mixed grill and for a free appetizer they brought me a pita and trio of three pastes that I loved and was very tasty. The mixed grill was all the usual combination of skewed meats including beef kofta, lamb kabob skewer and chicken shish tarwook and wow! it was killer, and loved the side of deliciously spiced rice, grilled onion and tomato. I've lived and worked in the Middle East for years so I often miss the fine food I ate there so this was as close to the Middle East/Lebanese cuisine I've had in the St. Louis area. My server was friendly with great service and it didn't take long for my lunch but I wasn't in a hurry anyway. The decor is nice and I only wished they had freshly made ice tea instead of Lipton out of a bottle but happily they gave me fresh slices of lemon and a glass with ice for my tea.

The chicken shawarma was also really good and both plates had ample portions. This was a great date place, We will be back!

I was excited to finally try this place even though I was warned about the baklavas being too dry. Sadly that's true. I dint think they are made fresh. They lack syrupy. I understand they don't have much food traffic but cutting down on the types of baklava and freshly making them should solve that problem. Probably the second worst baklava I've had out here. I see why they make shakes though. Since they don't sell ans have leftover stock. We initially sat down to eat but it was so awkward that there's no music and so quiet. My husband said they don't vacuum between the chairs which were full of crumbs. We eventually got our food to go. The second issue is the food. We got a sucuk flatbread and ans egg pide. This is not a pide, it's just pizza bread. Cheese is mozzarella, should have been beyaz cheese. Middle eastern cuisine doesn't use this cheese. My egg was raw and just throw in a corner. Could have saved myself money by just getting domino's, at least my food would be cooked. If you want quality, try Balkan treat box, Aya Sofia or Garbanzo. I would also like to state that there is one employee that works front and back. I didn't see him washing his hands once going back into the kitchen to handle my food. Seems like there a big hygiene issue

I ordered the Mezze, which came with baba ghanouj, hummus, 2 pieces of falafel, and Arabic salad (which is essentially just tomatoes and cucumbers, neither of which I eat) for $11.99 The baba ghanouj was very good. The falafel was good as well. The hummus was just ok. Not the best in the Metropolitan area, but certainly not the worst either. It also comes with pita bread, which I declined. (I'm avoiding gluten due to a gluten sensitivity issue) I ordered a side of rice ($2.99) instead (I mix everything together with the rice). The rice was good; I think they add turmeric in it. I also requested grilled onion, which I just realized they charged me for, along with the tahini and hot sauce (which they call shatta). Not a big deal at $1 each, but it's always noteworthy to me when places nickel and dime you. I also ordered the grape leaves. 5 dolmas for $5.99. The dolmas were served cold, which I'm not used to. I like when they're served with warm rice and leaves. (I warmed up the leftovers in a pan, and they tasted so much better). My guy ordered the Lamb Maklubeh, a traditional Palestinian dish. He said it was good. All in all, it was a nice place and the food ranged from good to decent. And the prices were decent as well. I do wish they were more knowledgeable and accommodating to vegans though. When I inquired whether certain dishes and sauces were vegan, the waitress said she couldn't guarantee it. I didn't like that. Aside from that, it's a cool place and worth a try, especially if you want to try some traditional Palestinian cuisine.
