Terrible service from top to bottom. Ordered the filet medium and when it came out grey inside I sent it back. The manager proceeded to bring the over-cooked piece of meat back to my table, shine a flashlight on it and insist it was cooked to order. IT WAS NOT! Insisted on another piece of filet and when it was presented the "chef" came out with his flashlight to insist it was prepared to order. WTF??!! This behavior was insulting and I am appalled the management team was a part of it. Shame on you read more

Anniversary dinner Sat night. Atmosphere walking in through the open air bar area with live music was casually elegant. Of course, just being in Jensen Beach on a balmy night is always nice. Generous pour on the Dewars rocks and the SPINACH ARTICHOKE DIP and MARGHERITA FLATBREAD apps were very tasty. I had the HAND HARVESTED DIVER SCALLOPS with garden vegetable risotto. It was perfect. Have only had that level of a gourmet dish here a couple of times over the last 25 years...at the French Garden accross from Vista Pines a long time ago, and some of the dishes Renato has created. Mehhhhh! The burgers came out medium rare when we asked for medium well. 2 of us sucked it up and left half and the other 2 returned it. The second round came like the first! C'mon guys a burger should not be that difficult. Kind of shocked that our server did not even ask about the 2 that left half of our raw burger! Btw this air curtain is like a vortex! We asked them to lower it but no dice. Really wanted to like this place as it's a relatively new spot in downtown Jensen but like I said it's ehhhhhh.... My favorite new restaurant in the region. We went there today for the second time. Octopus was amazing. Muscles were done perfectly. Tuna nachos were great. Chicken wings came with 4 sauces. Mixed drinks were not watered down at all. Prices were competitive. Love the ambiance. read more

I think this place is a place that Jensen really needed! When we first got there we were a little upset due to the fact that we made a reservation and we were told the dining room was too busy so they sat us at the bar. This wasn't a big deal as the bar area was beautiful, but I know for some it would be upsetting to sit at a high top if you were hoping to sit in the dining room on a reservation. The drinks were a little slow to come out, but they were delicious once we got them! The food was absolutely amazing. Everything had such good flavor and came out very quickly. Our server was AMAZING as was the rest of the staff here. It was overall a very good experience and we will definitely be back. read more

If you're visiting the Treasure Coast, make sure you put this on your place to go list. If you're local, this should be one of your regular spots. We had a great experience from start to finish. Great service (Brooklyn) who was really sweet, explained everything very well, and gave us excellent recommendations. The tuna tacos were light and delicious. I'm not a fan of lamb chops but my husband is and he was a huge fan. He wished he would have ordered the dinner portion. I got the salmon and it was fantastic. Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and paired with delicious veggies. We also ordered the Korean beef tacos which were very tasty. Can't say much about the chocolate cake desert. It was flourless, but I think I expected something else. Not bad, just VERY rich. We went a little early (6 pm) and sat in the dining room which has a lot of great natural light and was very comfortable. Really good experience overall. Will be back! Glad to see there is a nice little spot like this in downtown Jensen. read more

The menu is not too far from this places mother restaurant- the ONLY thing going for it is the Vegas Style bar seen from the heavy trafficked Jensen Causeway roundabout makes for an uptick in energy and ambience- the drinks were good and the food worth the price however I see nothing special with the menu to scream come back . It's def $$$ and they are trying hard to make everything perfect which almost was especially when they comped a bad desert. (Broulee keylime) I'll prob never go back as I like Kyle Gs on the ocean for its' ambience and pretty much same menu read more

In town visiting friends, just had dinner here tonight. It has potential! Too many untrained young people running around. I'm sure it cost a bundle to remodel. Instead of Line cooks maybe gatting a Chef to put that extra flavor into things would help. Almost there....... My friends enjoyed their Pork Taco & Bulgogi taco, though thought it needed something. The untrained waitstaff didn't inform them french fries came with the tacos. I ordered a burger, requested it rare. It arrived well done, dry and there was no condiments on it??? There's aioli all over the menu, yet my burger had no mayo, ailoi, nothing. I ate it because I was hungry. Dry & over cooked.....it deserves 2 mentions . The salads were good. When I told the waitress my burger was overcooked she said, why didn't you tell me? I controlled myself from saying.....because you never came back to check on us, which was the truth. Like I said.....untrained staff. Then she made the mortal sin in my eyes, she tried to play the 'kitchen against the dining room' game. I was the Chef / Owner of a small 38 seat Bistro in the past. The kitchen & wait staff are a team not 2 opposing teams. You never blame the kitchen like they are bad guys. Because if we had showered her with praise for the food, she wpuld have gladly taken credit when she had nothing to do with it, so be willing to take the sticks as well ! She told me.....'They've been doing that to me lately' ! WHAT????? They've only been open a month. Wrong answer! If the staff was trained properly they would explain to the customers about the owners of the place owning the farm where the fresh organic produce comes from. Farm to table shouldn't be kept a secret. I asked, so that's how I found out. The waitstaff wears black. It might make sense to say pants & a shirt, except for the hostess. After all, I there for the food not to see one waiter look neat and orderly and another sporting a Goth outfit another in a lace sleeved number. The carrot cake was extremely moist! Music in the dining room was a tad too loud, as we ate we had to keep saying....what? I hope they succeed, the menu has potential. Get a Chef, train your staff and keep the passion. I met a friend for dinner last Friday at 6pm. The staff was friendly and knew the menu very well. We ordered a few signature drinks which were exquisite. We also ordered at our server Keiren's suggestion the Poke nachos and Beef Asian tacos. Both were sublime. The tacos especially were out of this world good. We almost ordered more. Overall we both agreed that we would love to return to try more of the menu next time. Cannot say enough good things about Circa69. Even better, the free parking across the street made for easy access to the restaurant. Please consider a visit to Circa69 next time you desire great out of the ordinary cuisine. At best mediocre. Highlight was the dressing on the house salad. The deviled eggs were overpriced for 2 medium eggs (4 halves); seasoning was less than appealing. Others in lineup included the crispy chicken sandwich; small compared to your average Popeyes. Note a 16% gratuity is automatically added. Not a negative, just an FYI. Very loud on the open air lounge area which is to be expected. Sitting inside, ladies pack a sweater. Location aside, go to Castaways on Jensen Beach Boulevard; more extensive menu and very good. read more

What a great first visit to Circa69! The atmosphere was really good--energetic but not too loud. A positive dining experience starts with good server, and Elder was wonderful! He gave us a little backstory on Circa69, and of the owner. He was also very helpful --and spot on--with menu suggestions. He stopped by regularly to ensure our food was as expected, but wasn't intrusive. My husband started with the corn and blue crab chowder, which he said was excellent (and he knows his chow-dah!). I started with the chopped salad which was very fresh--the avocado was a nice touch. Circa69 grows many of the vegetables and herbs locally that they use in the resaurant! My husband ordered the scallops for his entree and said they were wonderful. My entree was the filet, and it was cooked to perfection! The person who brought the food to our table asked me to cut into my filet to make sure it was cooked to my liking. I thought that was really smart, bc we've all experienced an undercooked or overcooked steak, and had to wait for a server to come by to take it back to the kitchen while the other diners at your table wait. ent to Circa 69 last night and had a great time. We sat at the bar and were waited on by the excellent team of Rebecca, Jim and George. They worked seamlessly to keep us happy with delicious drinks, great food recommendations and super prompt and professional service. The hummus was yummy, the chopped salad was huge, fresh and well prepared and my octopus was perfectly cooked, seasoned and sauced. This was actually my second time at Circa 69. The first time, I came in alone and sat at the bar. It was a bit slow and while Jim was working, he engaged me in conversation about fishing and the treasure coast. He was welcoming, friendly and made me feel right at home (I just moved to the area). After having a delicious late night snack last time, I came back with my spouse yesterday and we were waited on by the team of Rebecca, George and Jim. They worked together with professional and friendly service to ensure a great experience. The hummus, chopped salad and octopus were beautifully prepared and presented. I would highly recommend each of them. Between Jim, Rebecca , George and all your other staff, this was a really nice experience and we'll be back. To management, I know good staff is so challenging to hire, train and retain and you've got that right. read more

Hot new trendy place. The bar is to one side and the dining room to the other, and the bar (I only looked in) seemed to be hopping. I never went to Tony Roma's, so I don't know how it's changed, but I thought the decor was great and very in keeping with the vibe of the place. The cocktails menu is unusual and we each had a different one. Nice tasting, but they were very weak. Since they are going for the party-all-night crowd, that may be why. Food was very good. Scallops were yummy, and the corn and sweet pea risotto was excellent. However, the pesto and arugula were missing, and instead there was a garnish of watercress. The spicy tuna stack was also very good. We also had the Route 66 flatbread, which I guess was good. It's not something I would ever have, but I thought it achieved what they were going for. The parmesan truffle fries were absolutely fantastic and you should order them if you go. The noise level is Very Loud. Both conversation and music. At one point my watch beeped to warn me the decibel level had gone over 90. My two companions were clearly very uncomfortable. We won't be back because of that, but I'm assuming the party crowd will like it. It's not cheap, but you know that going in. I don't mind the 16% since they are following the Kyle G system of giving their employees benefits. read more

The food was amazing, the drinks were spectacular and the atmosphere was perfect. Lamb and scallop dishes were cooked to perfection. We arrived at 6pm the dining room had one other table yet we waited 20-30 minutes just for water .... the snapper tasted like it came out of a box frozen.... the fish tacos were terrible.... the 16% service charge was added without notifying us.. we had to go get the waitress to get our bill. With a 16% service charge the staff has no incentive to provide good service. This local couple will not be returning. read more

Here's my mini review of Circa 69: I don't get it. To me, it has no identity or "branding". There are very minor odes to the 60's which include a couple of murals and about 6 or so framed pictures. The music isn't 60s. The staff isn't dressed in 60s style. There's no shag carpet, beaded curtains, lava lamps, hippie culture...nothing that identifies it as 60s. The menu isn't 60s themed. There aren't items that are clearly inspired by that decade. Even better, the menu PRICES don't reflect the 60s. It's all artisanal this or heirloom that with fancy sauces and such. (Which is all good but not what I was expecting) It has good but not great food. Happy hour is a bit overpriced for what you get. We had four appetizers, two drinks each, and two desserts and our bill was over $100. Even more with an extra tip for our server (there's a 16% gratuity included on every bill over $100) Now, that's not REALLY a big price tag for what we got. But it was for the portions that arrived. Two sliders (which are SO smothered in caramelized onions that you can't even taste the meat), three chicken strips, 4 deviled egg halves? So, I don't understand Circa 69. Maybe, since it's only been open for two months, they are still trying to find their feet and their groove. For me, it's nothing special or that you couldn't find somewhere else with more character and better prices. read more

Service was wonderful - especially Sydney! Very focused on us having a memorable dining experience - our first time! Steak was perfect and loved the glaze. Forgot the name of the salad I had but it had figs in it and it was delicious. Would certainly get that again and again!! The facility seemed designed to meet multiple needs. Dining inside was perfect for us while the outside and bar area was quite active but seemed farther away than it was - both dining areas worked very well together. That was a very pleasant surprise.
