Deceptive practices at the service center. I received an Email and a mailed flyer advertising a…read morefull synthetic oil change for $94.64. I scheduled an appointment for 1/4/25. When I arrived for the oil change and tire rotation I was told the price was $164.99 plus $39.99 for the tire rotation. I mentioned that the advertised price in my email was under $99 for the oil change and he repeated that the price of an oil change was $164.99 plus $39.99 for the tire rotation. I declined service and left. I emailed both the service manager and the general manager to complain about this incident and neither have responded to my email.

The only representative still present had no clue as to when it would actually be serviced. 2023-04-28: I had a good experience with Ciocca Subaru of Ewing after it took over Scott Harvey Subaru, so my wife made an appointment for a checkup with a loaner car at Ciocca Subaru of Flemington. As she pulled into the dealership (not close to us but the way to her lab), she received a text message telling her the promised loaner was not available. She had a choice of waiting 90 minutes for a loaner car to become available, or to wait 90 minutes for reduced service to be completed.

Am not sure why the 5 stars review honestly…read more I had to call service several times just to schedule or reschedule an appointment. I didn't give up calling because I really believed that service here would be a great experience. They keep saying there is only one person working in Service and therefore the lack of responsiveness. I scheduled my appointment with this location anyways. I was told the service would only takes 1.5 hours, so I brought my 5 year old daughter with me thinking that with snacks and TV there, it shouldn't be a problem. I was very wrong. They don't have any snacks, not even chips. No beverages other than water and coffee, nothing like what the pictures showed. Then the wait just made the whole experience even worse. We arrived at 10am and it is noon and I was just told another 25-30 minutes. We didn't have breakfast and I thought they have snacks here to hold us over until lunch. There is nothing here and the wait is much longer than what was told us. Misinformed and mislead through their pictures and the service rep. Not happy at all!

And in August 2020 Flemington had the car and the package that I was looking for. I initially tried to negotiate pricing over the phone to reduce my time in in the sales office due to Covid-19 they weren't as flexible. In person works a bit better. Once going to the sales office I worked with Michael. As I expressed that I knew what I wanted, Michael had the vehicle ready upon my arrival for a test drive. I drove it for 20 min and decided I would purchase this car. With a bit more negotiation, we landed on the sales price of the vehicle and trade in value of my previous car. I believe this was the fastest car sale that I've ever done. I would recommend researching car values on carfax or Kelly blue book before going in because it can save you thousands of dollars from their in person list prices! I'm happy with my purchase!

When I saw the poor reviews here, I had to share my (long overdue) praise. Phillip Dequina helped us with a listing I found online. He was kind, patient, transparent, and genuinely helpful. He was super knowledgeable about the car and took us on multiple test drives without any pressure. He answered every question clearly and was honest about pricing, vehicle history, and our options. He felt like a real person focused on solving our problem, not a stereotypical pushy salesman. I would definitely go back to him for my next purchase . Worth mentioning that we live near Newark so lots of dealerships close by. After visiting several of them, and experiencing their high-pressure sales tactics, we were ready to skip buying a car altogether. I read that Fred Beans was a reputable dealership, so I decided to drive over an hour to test drive cars there. It was totally worth it. Thank you Phillip and Fred Beans for making the car-buying process feel almost normal.

Come to find out a day before I had planned to pick the car up that it was already sold that morning. I will be following up with New Jersey Division of consumer affairs, Fred Beans Corporate, the BBB, and the Attorney General.

I was at the dealership in early March and made an appointment to come back a few weeks later for a specific issue and no problem. Made another appointment 8 months in advanced and called 3 days before to confirm , showed up 15-minutes early and my appointment was no where to be found The guy working was nice but their scheduling system is not to be trusted and wondering if an appointment will be honored is not an optimal business model not is it an establishment that I want to go to Do better

Shady Dealership with Unethical Practices!…read more If you're considering buying a car here, read every single line of your paperwork - they will sneak in warranties and "extras" you didn't ask for, hoping you won't notice until it's too late. It's a classic bait-and-switch operation; they'll play nice on the lot but will try to jack up the financing with add-ons you never agreed to. Watch out for their "missed signature" trick, where they'll have you sign multiple times under the guise of needing to finalize paperwork, only in an effort to try and change the numbers to squeeze every dollar possible from you. To make matters worse, my salesman was terminated over some vague "he said, she said" excuse before I even got my first bill. Rather than investing in and mentoring young employees, they exploit them, showing a lack of integrity across the board. This dealership seems far more interested in taking advantage of people than building a solid, honest team. Save yourself the headache and look for a dealership with transparent, fair practices. This place is nothing but trouble. Avoid it at all costs.

George is a great mechanic and a good, honest man…read more I went to him a few months ago when my check engine light turned on and 2 codes for my transmission came up which was nerve-wracking and financially concerning for me. 70% of the other mechanics I called for quotes weren't comfortable working on a Subaru transmission and the other 30% were trying to rip me off. When I dropped my car off at George's shop, he said that the codes were no longer there (only showing up in the history) and that he drove the car around and checked everything just to be sure the car was safe and functioning well, but since he didn't find anything wrong with the car, he didn't charge me the diagnosis fee. He did recommend that I get new tires (it was about that time lol) and the price he charged me for quality tires and the installation were way more than fair. Fast forward to now, my car is still functioning perfectly. He told me back then that sometimes when it rains hard (which it was the night my light went on), sometimes wires getting wet can trigger the check engine light turning on and those codes coming up. I appreciated George's kindness and honesty, and I'm not sure that other mechanics would've treated me with the same respect and honesty. He's also very friendly and responsive. I HIGHLY recommend him if you're in the area and in need of a mechanic.
