When talking to the owner/mechanic he informed him he thought the starter needed to be replaced. The next day the owner called saying that he changed the starter, and burned it up while trying to start the vehicle. He also tried with a crowbar to turn the engine and it wouldn't turn, that it was metal on metal and locked up. So he diagnosed the engine was ceased up. He wanted us to give him the title so that he could scrap the car in payment for the work and time he had put into the car. My husband said he needed a day or so to decide. I talked to a mechanic friend of mine, and he was interested in the vehicle as he has a good motor that he can install in my vehicle. So we told my friend he could have it as long as he worked out a payment with L & S for the work that they had done. I turned in the plates, so that I could take the insurance off the vehicle. Several days later my friend towed the vehicle to a work area, and on inspecting it found the starter to never having been touched. He also grabbed the main serpentine belt and turned the engine over one revolution, by hand. He proceeded to install a new starter, and the engine started right up and has been working perfectly fine since. This shop has two certified experienced professional mechanics. Either this shop is the most incompetent ever, or they are committing fraud and possible theft by deception. I recommend everyone stay away from this place.

George is a great mechanic and a good, honest man…read more I went to him a few months ago when my check engine light turned on and 2 codes for my transmission came up which was nerve-wracking and financially concerning for me. 70% of the other mechanics I called for quotes weren't comfortable working on a Subaru transmission and the other 30% were trying to rip me off. When I dropped my car off at George's shop, he said that the codes were no longer there (only showing up in the history) and that he drove the car around and checked everything just to be sure the car was safe and functioning well, but since he didn't find anything wrong with the car, he didn't charge me the diagnosis fee. He did recommend that I get new tires (it was about that time lol) and the price he charged me for quality tires and the installation were way more than fair. Fast forward to now, my car is still functioning perfectly. He told me back then that sometimes when it rains hard (which it was the night my light went on), sometimes wires getting wet can trigger the check engine light turning on and those codes coming up. I appreciated George's kindness and honesty, and I'm not sure that other mechanics would've treated me with the same respect and honesty. He's also very friendly and responsive. I HIGHLY recommend him if you're in the area and in need of a mechanic.

I was recently in the market for an upgrade from my 2011 Cadillac CTS. Unfortunately Gold Coast did not have any preowned vehicles that I was interested in, utilizing the Cars.com app I noticed a Cadillac XTS in inventory at Coleman. I know a few of my friends have purchased cars there so I had no doubts about a potential purchase from Coleman. Coleman is about 30 minutes from me, about the same distance as Gold Coast Cadillac so time in transit is not an issue for me. As a matter of fact I didn't realize how much shopping and restaurants there are around the dealership (quakerbridge mall) So waiting for the service department shouldn't be too bad. I worked with Mario on the sale, great guy very friendly easy to talk to. I test drove the prospective car, and ran through the car with a fine tooth comb. I noticed a few things that I would like to have corrected prior to taking delivery however we needed to hammer out a deal we could both live with. I had a trade which I needed to negotiate on top of the purchase of the newer car. The negotiations were tough, I worked Mario and after the typical back and forth with the manager, I asked to speak with the Manager so we could settle on a deal. We worked out terms we could all live with. The dealership would only correct the dent. The other items were refused which is why I took off a star. I had the Paintless Dent removal completed today and while I was there I asked if the service department could check a few things as the service report was incomplete when I bought the car. The service department stepped up nicely and changed the oil, rotated the tires, changed the cabin and air filter on the house without an appointment. I have another 500 miles until the warranty is done so they went above and beyond and performed the service. This is important to me and will not be forgotten. The waiting room is comfortable which several chairs, A big screen television and complimentary coffee. The dealership is a smaller Cadillac dealership, only a few sales reps and space for 3 cars inside, I think they know they need to outperform the competition in order to be successful. For a small dealership they have an impressive inventory of new and preowned cars. I believe they also have GMC and Buick showrooms in the same complex. Good experience so far and I will not hesitate to visit Coleman Cadillac in 2 years when it is time to shop for another preowned Cadillac.

Jude recommended a comprehensive pre-purchase inspection, which gave me the peace of mind I desperately needed. The inspection revealed some maintenance needs and additional repairs that required warranty approval. Let me tell you, Rob and Jude went to BAT for me! It has now been ten weeks of unreturned phone calls and texts - TEN WEEKS - trying to get my car fixed. I've left messages for the service manager. My calls are not returned. The appointment schedule people have been helpful, but anyone above them is useless and unprofessional. My advice would be a) do not buy a Lincoln; the pseudo-luxury features will stop working (power mirrors, gadgets, steering wheel buttons, audio system, etc.) and you will pay a fortune to get them fixed. b) if you do buy a Lincoln, do not expect any semblance of "customer service" if you take it to Ciocca Lincoln. In my case, I do not expect them to ever fix my car at this point. Or to call me and tell me they won't or can't fix it. I'm on my own.
