Trixie did my toes today- she did PHENOMENAL. She really took the time to massage my feet and did an amazing job painting my nails and taking care of my feet. However, Michael did my friend's toes and it was not up to par. The color was uneven, and he rushed to finish. He didn't even massage her feet! Then pulled out the fan to dry the floor with it blowing on me while they are working on my pedicure. Well this is what I get for trying something new I went there early because I had couple of errands to run before my summer vacation. I walked in and I asked them how much it would be for a full set French tip. They told me that it would be 55+ tax. I was OK with the terms and I sat down with a employee. he did my nails and I also asked him to take the acrylic off of my toes. The total was $95. I am not upset about the price. Because prices are fluctuating because of the economy, which I understand. However, if I paid $95 for a full set and to take acrylic off of my toes, I would like for my fingers to at least look decent. there is acrylic all over my cuticles and underneath my nails. SUPER overpriced. I paid almost $140 for a full set & pedicure (I didn't even spend this much in a city like Los Angeles). Service was quick and satisfactory. I love how my nails turned out, but my only gripe was being "knicked" repeatedly by the electric file the tech was using. 3 of my fingers on my left hand were bleeding. The tech used some sort of gel/ ointment to stop the bleeding but it stung. He then proceeded to spray ALCOHOL on my hands throughout the process. . Overall, the establishment was super clean and they followed proper COVID protocol (Temperature checks, mandatory masks, hand sanitizer at front desk). My regular nail salon that I've been goin to for years had to close down unfortunately, so I've been bouncing around trying to find the perfect nail salon. My friend and I decided to give this place a try. We only get pedicures because our job doesn't allow us to have fake nails. The first time we went, my nail tech was extremely rude and she had an attitude. She would grab my foot and slam it down and smack my foot to get me to put it back in the water. Finally I looked at her as if to tell her she lost her damn mind, and she finally stopped. My friends nail tech was nice, but she was rushed. Later when we go to pay and the credit card machine "went down" so we had to pay in cash. Neither one of us had cash on us, but conveniently they had an atm in the back. My friend got her money off and when I go to get mine, it says the atm is off line call for assistance. We go up front and tell the guy at the front desk and he had to call someone on the phone to get the credit card machine to work. I get it, I work in retail so I know things like this happens, but we waited for him to get it fixed for 30 mins. While we were waiting we learned that they offer different pedicure packages. We didn't know so we just got the basic package. I thought well maybe that's why my nail tech lady was so inconvenience by me because I 1. didn't get my nails done and 2. because we got the cheap package. Finally he gets it up and running and he tells us for the inconvenience and due to the fact the atm died and charges a 3 dollar fee, he said he wont charge us tax. Cool.... Even after my awful service, I still tipped my lady a hefty tip because I figured maybe she was having a bad day. A month later we decided to give this place another try. We both got the most expensive package this time thinking we'll get better service... Wrong! Once again my nail tech was rude (different woman) and got mad because I told her three times the water was way to hot! I can usually stand it, but this water was scolding! Then we she goes to remove my nail polish, she started slamming my foot down and and grabs it aggressively to get my foot how she wanted it on the foot stand. At this point, I had already made up my mind that I wasn't coming back! She finally finished the massage, and when she goes to paint my nails (I chose white) she forgot to remove the red nail polish off of both my pinky toes. So instead of removing the polish she paints over it!!! Painted right over the red with white! I was so mad I didn't say anything because I was just ready to get out of there. My friend wanted to get Christmas themed nails. Red, green and white polka dots. She shows her nail tech how she wants it done. And she ends up forgetting the dots. So when she tells her, the other women jumped up to tell my friend 7 extra dollars for the second color and 10 extra dollars for the dots! My friend is pissed at this point because not only was the package 58 dollars, but they tried to charge 17 extra dollars for paint? So she tells her to remove the one white toe and just do red and green because that was way too much money and the nail tech didn't say the price when she showed her the picture before she started. So they told her the second color was only goin to be 5 dollars instead of 7. Her nail tech was pissed she had to redo her nails and had an attitude. We go to pay and the same guy up front shorted my friend 5 dollars, (She brought cash this time) and he tried to tell her the total again. She then tells him that the money was wrong and he gives the right change after goin back and forth. Yet again after receiving shitty service for the second time, both nail techs got a good tip! The customer service here sucks and they sure don't have a hard time hiding their attitudes. DON'T waste your time goin there if you just want a pedicure, and you better have cash on you to pay. Bad experience! This was my first time coming here because my usual was all booked up for the evening. I got there an hour before closing just to get a pedicure. First while I was getting my nails done, it was close to closing and two customers came in, the didn't want to reject them but they didn't have anyone there to help, so the front desk lady walks to the restaurant perpendicular to the salon and grabs a worker from there to do a pedicure, felt very unprofessional and unsanitary! THE WORST PART: the pedicure felt very cheap for the price and my toe is now infected! Very alarming and feel I must warn people to not go here to keep them from also getting an infection. This salon was my preference. Most of the staff is nice and has a handle on their craft. However, there is a revolving door with the techs. My recent experience was not so good. Her craft was weak. When i mentioned the apparent flaws (acrylic left on my cuticles) all of a sudden she couldn't speak and didn't understand English; but she subliminally yanked my hand several times, in addition to getting cuticle oil everywhere but on my cuticles - tantrum-like. In addition she missed a couple of crucial steps in the application process. Update: Day 3 of the nails of horror. The acrylic overlay on my nails has begun to lift. This has never happened in my years of having my nails done. In addition I am now noticing black fungus under two nails. This has never happened either. My advice stay completely away from the technician that sits at station 5! she has no clue on what she is doing. read more

Went in for a pedicure. Which was quick however I noticed they did not clean the pedicure bowls which is gross. Also scary thinking about all the bacteria this practice can spread.
