The food is still really good with the right amount of spices and heat. They finally added paint to those starch white walls. Veggie lunch box is now $10.99, chicken curry & tandoori chicken lunch boxes are $11.99, lamb curry lunch box is $12.99. If you call in your order, be sure to have them confirm what you ordered. They made me the wrong lunch box, and didn't seem very happy about having to make me a new one, but they did.

YUM! Finally gave this place a try and so glad we did. We got takeout so although the vegetable pakora tasted good, it was a little soft and soggy but that makes sense since we ate it at home. We also ordered the chicken tikka which was unlike any chicken tikka I've had before but it was still super good. The chicken vindaloo was super yummy but although we ordered it mild it was definitely a medium spice level. We'll be coming back!

Cinnamon is yet another Indian restaurant in Columbus. It's located in the former Szechuan Cottage. The nicest thing to say about this is that it's an improvement. Food is good. The unfortunate thing is the food is overpriced. I had the vegetable jalfreezi. It's about $12 for the regular portion. This comes in several levels of spice. It's pretty good when it's hotter than medium, but don't add too much. The hotter it is, the more the flavor becomes overwhelmed. It's made of a nice variety of vegetables, so it's pretty basic to make. This only comes with a side of rice. It doesn't even get a piece of bread. That will cost you a few bucks extra. Atmosphere is bad. It seems made for carry out. Pick it up and take it with you.

Wouldn't honor those yelp coupon offer and wouldn't explain why not .

Decent food ,. Called in an order for pickup because it seemed better for the restaurant than ordering through UberEATS . Arrived at the time I was told and was made to wait an additional 30 minutes for the food . They refused to honor the coupon promotion for 15% off they offer through Yelp. Disappointing .

Almost gave up on Indian food in Clintonville but glad I tried this place. Got mixed tandoori and veg samosa; I asked for medium heat but it came out more mild, which I totally get since no one here seems to like spice in their food. Still great and will get hot next time. Extremely fast delivery and great service! Will definitely be back to this place to try the lamb vindaloo

Said they had no idea what Yelp was and they weren't gonna honor the 15% off code for first time check in . Placed my order 30 minutes ago over the phone to only get there and told that they never made it. Due to me asking about the promotion code over the phone. After I informed them that I still wanted my food regardless. They still declined to make it. I showed up and I had to wait 10 min before someone really took the time to ask me about my order. There was no one here and a man just kept walking back and forth. Ignoring the fact that I'm the only person in the building. Pretty disappointed with the customer service. Guess yelp promos aren't a thing.

Takeout - goat korma, bhind masala, baingan bharta, naan.

We started with a Hot Apple Cider, topped with maple-infused whipped cream and cinnamon, along with a couple of hot coffees. The cider was warm, comforting, and full of cozy fall flavors. Unfortunately, the self-serve coffee station wasn't kept stocked, and after waiting quite a while for a refill, we eventually gave up. For breakfast, we ordered two Mushroom Frittatas, a Fresh Buttermilk Biscuit, and a side of Housemade Breakfast Sausage. The Mushroom Frittata featured three hearth-baked eggs with roasted mushrooms, sweet onions, and Gruyère cheese, served alongside breakfast potatoes and a peppery arugula salad. It was flavorful, hearty, and incredibly satisfying. Although I informed the staff about my peanut allergy, I was surprised to find the crispy breakfast potatoes on my plate, which left me uncertain whether the allergy request had been fully communicated to the kitchen. The Fresh Buttermilk Biscuit, served with strawberry preserves, was one of the highlights of the meal. It was flaky, buttery, and wonderfully moist, pairing perfectly with the sweet preserves. The Housemade Breakfast Sausage consisted of two peppery pork patties that were juicy and well-seasoned, making a great accompaniment to the rest of the meal. Overall, we enjoyed a delicious and filling breakfast with fresh, high-quality ingredients. While I wish the coffee station had been monitored more closely and that greater care had been taken regarding my food allergy, the Mushroom Frittata and fresh biscuit alone make Northstar Café worth returning to.

Coming off of Bourbon fest, we decided for light fare and got a closing drink along with the Off Menu red snapper crudo with rice paper crackers, watermelon salad, and pomodoro pasta. They have a small parking lot which is helpful since parking can be challenging in this area. They have some outside seating and a small but cute dinning room with a bar. It was such a gorgeous day, I sat outside. I ordered the Penang curry with chicken and a couple of egg rolls. This is what I ordered via DoorDash, and it is one of my favorite dishes so I wanted to keep in consistent for my review. The waitress was attentive and friendly. It isn't busy at all. There is only one other couple dining during this lunch hour. The table outside is a mesh-top table, which is concerning, especially when you have a dish with sauce. When places don't provide a placemat, you risk food getting on your lap and pants. This would be a simple suggestion and fix. The egg rolls came out first. The presentation was really nice. They were nice and crisp, not soggy, like some places. The dipping sauce was perfect. I thought they were delicious. We are off to a good start! The Penang curry came out looking delicious. It was nothing like my DoorDash meal. The portions were good. Fair amount of chicken. Loved the flavor and spice. Some of the best flavor I've had in this dish in a long time. This dish came with rice. I don't know what happened with my DoorDash order, so I'm happy I stopped in to give them another chance. I have no reservations recommending you check out this delicious spot in the town. I can't wait to come back and try out some other dishes. I also bring friends!

They also had anime on the TV, so bonus points for that. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly, and answered any questions I had. The only downside in my opinion was the temperature in the restaurant, it may have just been a humid day, but there was not much airflow inside so it was very hot and humid.
