    Butter Chicken- naan- Lamb Saag

Really enjoyed this place- very authentic and great service. Had a variety of items but loved the butter chicken and the samosas. Order a couple of dishes and was more than enough to fill us. Great flavoring and taste.

This Nepali restaurant has great food at very good prices. This was the last meal that I ate in Cbus before coming back to Miami on my most recent visit, one hour before I had to go to the airport. I ordered it via Uber Eats, which totally surprised me because my bestie lives near Franklin Park, and Yak & Yeti was a good 20+ mins drive away. Despite the distance, my food arrived piping hot. I'm salivating as I relive the vegetable thali & fried chicken momos. It was sooooo delicious, and the portions were large enough to split or save for another meal. However, since I knew I wouldn't be having Nepali food for awhile, I ate it all myself, and sat with a super satisfied smile and full tummy on my 2 1/2 hour flight home.

Amazing menu and food. Our server/owner was super friendly and helpful. I had a big beer (see photo) and Navrattan Korma. I ordered the chicken samosas and rice pudding to go. Amazing. All of it. The samosas are filled with chicken and now my favorite of any restaurant with samosas on the menu. I love Navrattan Korma, and theirs was on par. The rice pudding...yum. This is quite a drive from my home, but I would really love to return for more of the same.

Solid 3.5 Closed between 3 and 5. May take awhile for someone to answer phone for carryout. It will take about 30 minutes for carryout order to be ready. Packaging is great to avoid spillage. Make sure you specify spice level. Mild is mild. No real discernible flavors that shine through. We had lamb Korma & lamb curry. Nice sized tender pieces of meat. Covid-19 precautions are taken. Social distancing, hand sanitizer and masks were utilized prior to the state mandate. Dining options include indoor and outdoor seating. Although outdoor seating faces gas station. Nice alternative food addition to the area where hamburgers and chicken wings dominate.

    #7 Chicken Samosa (11/20/2020)

I was quite hungry when I got to Yak N Yeti, so to hold me over while waiting for my friend to arrive, I ordered the Chicken Samosa. At $6.99 for only TWO samosa, I had rather high expectations because the price-to-quantity ratio. And, let me tell you, I was very, very happy with this appetizer. Talk about chuck-full of minced chicken; wonderful spices mixed in; and the minty dipping sauce had some heat to it, but it complemented the protein-and-pastry duo so well! The owner is upfront and open about enforcing the health codes set forth for covid. There's hand sanitizer at every table, and before sitting and touching anything, guests must first sanitize hands; he also politely quickly reminded us about the rules and regulations for mask coverings (must be worn when not actively eating, or getting up from your set for any reason). I finally decided to go with YNY's Lamb Korma; HOWEVER, after second thought, I tracked the gentleman down and asked if they could swap chicken instead of lamb, and he was happy to oblige (I couldn't find it anywhere on the menu, so I was very happy they were more than willing to accommodate!). The dish comes with basmati rice. I asked for it to be served in to-go containers, as I knew I was going to have some to take home. Verdict? I definitely enjoyed this dish! Savory - not spicy, creamy, and full of chicken chunks (if an Indian restaurant skimps on the protein, they're automatically removed from my bookmarks). Mixed in some of the rice, and it was wonderful. I fell victim to my salivating tastebuds and forgot to take a picture, sorry not sorry. Yes, I'll admit I was prepared to give YNY four starts from the chicken-packed samosas, but the savory Chicken Korma was icing on the cake, and immediately bumps my review to five stars.

I don't understand why this would be $14. When it arrived there were no sides, no sauces. Just overcooked shrimp and onions. After calling back the caller made it very clear that she didn't think we deserved a refund even after she admitted the order was missing things. What's crazy is she said she would give us a credit but after asking to use it, she hung up on us. Absolute terrible customer service.

This new nepalese/Indian option provides many unique options. I chose a bhatmas, tandoori mixed grill and a mean bread basket. Food was quite flavorful, and the mixed grill came out extremely hot. Quite a few menu items are new to me and I have eaten at quite a few Indian restaurants in Columbus. Service was quite good. I will be returning.

Whenever my partner and I can't agree in anything to eat.. We alwaysbknow we'll agree on one thing. YAK N YETI. They know what we mean when we ask for extra spicy! They make the best chicken tika masala! I know I can change up my menu order, without regrets, because their entire menu is delicious. I recommend this to anyone, always!

Very good food, huge portions, always served hot. Especially loved the momo, will be getting the spicy chili chicken ones whenever we come again, which will be soon.

Middle of the road take out, nothing special except when you consider it's the only choice of Indian/Nepali in this part of town.

Staff offered help but gave us time to go over menu , answered questions, and took our orders. The wait time to get our food was acceptable and the presentation, temperature, flavors were great. We said we liked spicy and they were acceptable (our receipt had been rung up as "medium"). The curry sauce on the curried goat was excellent. However, the dish was the low point due to the "meat" being almost all fat. The garlic naan wasn't very garlicky and was more like pizza dough, but, warm, tasty and acceptable. The restaurant went from almost empty to over 1/2 full while we were there. However, it wasn't busy enough to warrant us being abandoned by service once we got our food. No water refills. Had to go to bar and ask twice for "to go" boxes and our check. Then they brought the check with no pen and the wrong copy to be signed. They have a full bar. They have a small stage and sound equipment and said they may start karaoke in the near future. They have sister stores next door for bubble tea and bakery. Could go again, making allowances for service shortcomings and the fatty goat meat...

I enjoy supporting local Restaurants. First, I think the prices are too high, if you are going to serve your food on foam plates and give us plastic silverware I think your prices should be lower and that applies as well for the portions of the food. I have eaten Nepali food before And what I love about this culture is the food portions and you guys need to focus a little bit more on this. I ate the shrimp curry and the flavor was spectacular, but the extremely tiny shrimp you used was not a good idea, I really want to see the protein on my plate and just as an advice, used bigger shrimps and do not overcook them. The service was really good, the cashier was really kind and he described the dishes because the digital menu was not working. I really want to come back and try something else. I don't know if the prices are gonna change, but they should and if the prices are gonna stay the same work a little bit better on the kitchenware to serve your food and in the portions as well.
