While I think the size of our group may have been a bit overwhelming for them, the food was amazing, and the server did a great job in checking everyone's preferred spice level on an American scale, not a Nepalese/Indian one. Our group contained multiple people who had been to a more well-known Momo place in town, and one person who had been to Nepal as well. Hands down, this was better and/or actually reminded people of the food in Nepal. Out of the way for me, but will go back!

But we decided to still try the food anyway after having made the drive. The lamb curry was TOUGH. Could not cut it with a fork after several attempts and was super gummy. I raised this complaint with the server, she refused a refund or remake and insisted people cooked it and ordered it this way, which is just patently untrue. We were also rushed out of the restaurant so they could do their closing duties. The receipt also has a mystery 8% charge to it that just says "khaja gar" and no, that is NOT a mandatory tip and we had a party of two. This place is awful, scammy and I would never recommend.

Mine was way too spicy to eat and the ones that were supposed to be medium hot were hotter than the surface of the sun. We ate here quite often when it first opened but then once during Covid they did the same thing, totally disregarding the instruction to hold the spiciness. My family has ordered a few times since but I never get anything, until today. But this will be the last time. I cannot tolerate a chef who is makes the food to his preferences no matter how you request it. I did call and explain what happened and the lady offered to remake mine but no one was eager to go back out in a rainstorm when it was likely that the chef would disregard our preferences again. This is obviously a pattern with them, like a chef who likes his steak very rare so he refuses to cook it any other way. But if you like your food nuclear hot, it's a good choice.

I…read morekeep retrying them, hoping to recapture what it was that I used to like about this place, but after so many failed attempts I've come to a sad conclusion: this place is no longer any good. Some of it's the food. It is wildly variable in quality. Some nights it's absolutely delicious and rich, but lately no matter how spicy I order my food it comes to me as though no seasoning was added at all. What have you done to your curry that it is somehow *boring*? Or the Tikka Masala my wife ordered that seemingly had no tomatoes added to it and was a bright shade of yellow; I'm convinced that it was a very bland korma. But the service also leaves a lot to be desired. Dinner with four adults and a toddler a few months ago ended with 2 of the adults getting their food while the other two adults waited 20 minutes to get theirs -- all while trying to keep an impatient toddler from losing it. Today, the food I called in at 1:20 and was told would be ready in a half hour still wasn't ready at 2:15. No apology, no partial refund. Just wait another 15 minutes. I'm done with this place. It's too inconsistent.

Smallish buffet, and they were out of a few items, but still enough to stuff myself. Most of the usual suspects: tandoori, biryani, daal, samosas, curry goat, Mongolian veggie balls, a couple of desserts. All good. Seems short-staffed at noon. Friendly service, and on things as soon as they noticed or you asked. Cozy place inside, with a small room holding the buffet and counter and a few tables, and a bigger one next door. Very reasonable price for the quality. I'll be back.

The decor is pretty simplistic, although the furniture is beautiful. It looks pretty dark outside, and the neon "open" sign is the only indication that they're open. We were seated quickly, as it was empty when we arrived, although two more couples showed up after us. We ordered our favorites, chicken tikka masala for me, palak (saag) paneer for him. As an appetizer, we had puri with a vegetable curry that was AMAZING. I wish we'd ordered more of that, because the rest of our food was a bit underwhelming. Well, he enjoyed his saag paneer, even though it was made differently than he was used to. My chicken tikka masala was VERY buttery, which was very odd for me, and not what I'm used to. I wanted to like it, but I couldn't. The Service was okay, but when we got the check, the prices were ALL different than what was listed on the menus that were handed to us. When we pointed out the discrepancy, all we got was "well, the prices are correct in our computer, would you like to see?" No, but you should PRINT NEW MENUS WITH UPDATED PRICING, instead of gaslighting your customers for a problem that you created and refuse to properly fix. Ridiculous. Eat somewhere else, ideally at a place with the CORRECT prices listed on the menu.
