Staff offered help but gave us time to go over menu , answered questions, and took our orders. The wait time to get our food was acceptable and the presentation, temperature, flavors were great. We said we liked spicy and they were acceptable (our receipt had been rung up as "medium"). The curry sauce on the curried goat was excellent. However, the dish was the low point due to the "meat" being almost all fat. The garlic naan wasn't very garlicky and was more like pizza dough, but, warm, tasty and acceptable. The restaurant went from almost empty to over 1/2 full while we were there. However, it wasn't busy enough to warrant us being abandoned by service once we got our food. No water refills. Had to go to bar and ask twice for "to go" boxes and our check. Then they brought the check with no pen and the wrong copy to be signed. They have a full bar. They have a small stage and sound equipment and said they may start karaoke in the near future. They have sister stores next door for bubble tea and bakery. Could go again, making allowances for service shortcomings and the fatty goat meat...

Everest Cuisine in Worthington was a really enjoyable surprise. From the outside, it would be easy…read moreto assume this is just another Indian restaurant in a strip center, but once inside, it becomes clear that Everest Cuisine offers a much broader Himalayan experience with authentic Nepalese, Tibetan, and Indian cuisine woven throughout the menu and atmosphere. The restaurant felt warm, relaxed, and authentic, with Nepalese décor, prayer flags, cultural artwork, and Himalayan touches throughout the dining room. It felt personal and welcoming rather than overly polished or corporate. We started with the Everest Platter, which was a great introduction to the menu, featuring items like samosa, pakora, and spring rolls, along with flavorful dipping sauces. The chicken momo dumplings were excellent and are definitely something people should try if they have never experienced authentic Tibetan or Nepalese-style cuisine before. The garlic naan was fresh, soft, blistered from the clay oven, and loaded with flavor. One of the highlights of the meal was the Lamb Bhutuwa, a Nepalese-style lamb dish stir-fried with onion, garlic, ginger, and spices. The flavors throughout the meal were neat, balanced, and blended together really well. Nothing tasted overly heavy or greasy, and each dish still allowed the individual ingredients and spices to come through clearly. Our server, Anjali, was very kind, welcoming, and helpful with the menu and recommendations, which made the experience even better. If you enjoy Indian food, or if you want to explore authentic Nepalese and Tibetan cuisine beyond the usual curry-house experience, Everest Cuisine is absolutely worth visiting. I had. Lamb Jhapali Thali : Rice in the middle with a crispy thin type of bread similar to a tortilla. a spicy sauce, gulab jamun ( round heavy cake like with a honey sauce), yogurt, lentil soup, lamb , spinach and a cauliflower vegetable with spices. My wife had butter chicken. We both had garlic naan and pea and potato Samosas. We will definitely go back with friends showing them this restaurant.

The decor is pretty simplistic, although the furniture is beautiful. It looks pretty dark outside, and the neon "open" sign is the only indication that they're open. We were seated quickly, as it was empty when we arrived, although two more couples showed up after us. We ordered our favorites, chicken tikka masala for me, palak (saag) paneer for him. As an appetizer, we had puri with a vegetable curry that was AMAZING. I wish we'd ordered more of that, because the rest of our food was a bit underwhelming. Well, he enjoyed his saag paneer, even though it was made differently than he was used to. My chicken tikka masala was VERY buttery, which was very odd for me, and not what I'm used to. I wanted to like it, but I couldn't. The Service was okay, but when we got the check, the prices were ALL different than what was listed on the menus that were handed to us. When we pointed out the discrepancy, all we got was "well, the prices are correct in our computer, would you like to see?" No, but you should PRINT NEW MENUS WITH UPDATED PRICING, instead of gaslighting your customers for a problem that you created and refuse to properly fix. Ridiculous. Eat somewhere else, ideally at a place with the CORRECT prices listed on the menu.
