Even when the occasional person (you know who you are!) got up to go to...wherever, the view was not blocked. There is a small candy/soda counter where they sell the tickets. The bath rooms (suprisingly) are on the ground level, as is the disabled one. This theater is really (REALLY) disabled friendly in a big way. As a disabled person I found that not only was there an elevator to take you up to the theater level, there was also a wheel chair lift to to help you get to the coffee store on the top level. There is also a wheel chair ramp to get you from the sidewalk into the theater (which most theaters don't have in this city). The staff are extremely helpful, and they are not pushy...as in trying to make you buy their membership. This was one of the first movie theaters to open in the UK. The building has remained (pretty much) unchanged since the 1930's...so it's really retro (yay!).

Sah-weet. And if popcorn isn't what you're after they have a cafe upstairs, across from their single screening room. The theatre has been around for over 100 years and there's a sense of community there. People queue up when waiting to be seated and EVERYONE seems to know each other. The screening room is huge and very charming, as old buildings tend to be. Very glad this place is a short walk from my place. Especially when those popcorn cravings kick in.

Watching a film here is comfortable, but could be better, sometimes the air-con can be toooo strong. The sound is also very good as well. The food and drink in cinema as you know is a bit expensive, but i like their popcorn, coz its tastes how it should be and i love their super sized coke. I've watched a numerous of blockbuster this year here, but I was really impressed when they showed the Olympics here for free, although at times it did cut out a few time and we had to wait for it to load. After experiencing the beauty of Westfields Stratford VUE, Harrow VUE needs to fix up Big Time! in terms of decor, plus their toilets are urh!! The transport to get to the cinema is well equipped with the train and bus station very near plus the shopping center car park. I go here because I have to but, if I had a choice then it will be a different story.

Me: "Erm, can I see where's available?" Her: "No, I've stuck you in the middle." - Ridiculously priced tickets. Over £19 for two adult tickets - and they weren't even the "luxury seats"! Really? The Everyman cinemas are about the same and they have nice staff, waiter service to your seat and A BAR! - Dirty toilets that leave you feeling grimy. - Stale popcorn and sticky floors. Other than that, it was great! I won't be returning if I can help it.

I have always been a fan of Vue Cinema because having been to four or five of them in London they seem consistant in their facilities and decor. There is nothing worse to me than getting really excited to see a movie that has been newly released for which you have waited to see for several months, only to find you get stuck behind some six foot giant. Now that is why I like Vue in North Finchley. You see one thing I always check before visiting a cinema is are the seats stadium style? I mean when the seats are all on one level you sit there hoping and praying you do not get an adult sitting in front of you Ahhh! Leaning to one side for two hours is no fun. However, all of the theatres in Vue North Finchley are stadium style so the seat in front of you is lower than yours giving you a perfect view regardless. The prices are less than in the city centre and cheaper before 5pm Mon-Fri. It does get busy during the evening so bring your debit card and pay at the machines.

The Cineworld at the London Designer Outlet is still fairly new. Had this review been written back…read morein the early days then it would have received a lower mark but the staff have since stopped pratting around behind the counter and actually now get on with their jobs. First the good things - this counts as outer london so the cheaper rate on an unlimited card kicks in, plus there is generally decent legroom in all the seats. The bad... It's on the top floor - and there's no single lift from the ground level. So you need to take two lifts (one of them hidden as it faces Wagamamas) or four escalators. Crazy right?! This is a new build, I hope they didn't pay the architects a great deal for that stroke of genius. It also loses points for the number Bollywood films it shows. They're just my cup of tea, and it's been more than once that we've had to go to a different Cineworld because they didn't show a Hollywood film during release week or at such a rubbish frequency that the times were all pants. We decided to go upstairs to order, when we stood at the kiosk upstairs nobody was there, so not too much of an issue, we just bumbled downstairs to place our food and drinks orders. Went upstairs to wait for our food, to be fair most people that come here get their food delivered to their seats in the cinema part, as that's part of the charm, but we had ours outside in the drinks area. Tables were well small and had to juggle about and put our drinks on the floor, to fit the food on the table. Burgers were of a good standard and really fresh and tasty. If you like them well done be sure to ask as they were very much medium and people that aren't a fan of the pink might not like. The chips I didn't really like. No fork was provided. Tasted all fine though. We went through to the screen and we had a tiny delay as they were still cleaning up. But, considering people eat their dinners in there, I'd rather wait a minute than sit on a slice of pizza or a chip! Seating well comfy, really enjoyed the actual film and setting, it did feel quite special. For about less than £2 more than a normal cinema I will go here again, absolutely!!!!!

Noted for it's spacious couch seating, waiters to bring you the snacks you ordered, and a little table to keep it all on, it is a little more expensive than other cinemas, but you get your money's worth. I have been to other Everyman cinemas and enjoyed the VIP treatment, but in this instance, I found my seat very hard to get comfortable in. It wasn't too hard, but it was so high off the ground that it was impossible for me to get comfortable. It might work for someone 6ft tall but for me, it just wasn't working. I would recommend not sitting in the front, I think there might be better elsewhere in the room.

I'm so happy about Everyman opened in Selfridges…read more Came here for an one-off showing of Mary Poppins on Christmas eve, the film I loved for many years but first time seeing it on a big screen. It was delightful. Later saw Paddington Bear here too. The seats are very comfortable, especially the soft leather sofa. Unlike some other cinemas it's kept very clean. You can also purchase adult drinks at the bar to take into the studios.
