Comfy couches, milkshakes to order and wait WHAT!? They sell a Washington wine?! F* Vue, I'm coming here the rest of my days. The Esher outfit has 4 screens, with Screen 1 being the biggest. It's a double decker with great sound and nice two person couch 'booths'. You can also order hot food in and bring alcohol into the cinema screen. Adults only, no crying babies and giggly teens? Heck. Yes. Sadly two things knock this place down to a 4* vs a 5*. Firstly, staff service here is very hit and miss. Very young staff meaning texting / giggling amongst each other can sometimes come above a waiting customer. Additionally, the screens are quite different in terms of comfy rating. Screen 2 has little footrests that mimic say a sofa/coffee table at home, whilst Screen 1 doesn't, which does make it lose just that little bit of comfiness for a long movie. Also, weirdly enough, end booths in Screen 1 don't have a table or a perch, meaning the person closest to the aisle has got to either put their drink on the ground (watch the spillage!) or hold it the entire time... Not ideal. However, it's still a much better (read: Expensive) experience, but I'd take this any day over a Vue (or the Vue in Staines) as it's closer, more intimate and caters to insolently intolerant people like me.

Four screens, each screen room different but all have comfy couches, chairs and tables, the sound is excellent too. The cinema was spotless and a notch up in decoration, comfort, style and class from your usual Vue and Odeon cinemas. I found the staff helpful. As it was not busy I did not have to wait to be served. We ordered the vanilla and peanut butter milkshake, v nice. As the film started our pizzas were delivered to us. We ordered the margherita and special pizza. The chap taking the order wasn't sure of exactly what the special pizza was said it was ham and capers. I quizzed him a little more and he said Palma ham. Got to say although not large in size they did taste delish and I would not hesitate to have them again. It felt weird eating watching the movie but a great weird, I could get use to this. I was so impressed with the whole experience I became a member as I will be going back to watch more films at this fab place. It is more expensive but it's worth it. Oh yes I will xoxo

Instead security were fed-up with the behaviour of the manager and asked us to complain to the company Vue and the shopping centre. CS gave me 2x free tickets (worth £5 given Meerkat 2-4-1) which ran out during Covid so never used and CS refused to re-send.

It's nice to have a cinema locally, which shows the latest movies even if it doesn't have the largest screens. However, the seats are nicely banked and it's quite comfortable. There's the usual concession stand as well as a small Ben & Jerrys outlet, which does ice cream and juices. As mentioned by Charlotte R, the main issue seems to be staffing. Sometimes, you have to buy your tickets at the concession stand. The staff ratio seems to be low and they struggle to keep the place clean. Also, boo to Odeon for their policy of charging more for tickets on Friday evening and the weekend.

Queues are never too long and service is normally friendly and quick. There are toilets on every floor including disabled both of which are accessible via stairs/lift, however please note the lights are automatic and go off if you're in the toilet do too long! The Costa service is quick and I have enjoyed many a good cup of coffee, very handy if you want to take a hot drink or frappe into the film with you. Snacks from the main counter is what you expect from a cinema franchise and can be quite expensive... although I do enjoy a slush from time to time. The screens are varied in size, are mostly clean and you can choose your seat selections when booking. If you book online there is no booking fee, you can select your seats and you collect you tickets from one of the machines. My main complaint is that the volume in the screens do need to be louder at times....and the seats should be checked and repaired as and when needed. Parking is tricky as there's no car park so you need to park in the car park up the road where it is pay and display, although it is cheap or on a residential road which can be a pain. I will visit again especially as a holder of the limitless card....

A standard ticket is very expensive at around £12 a ticket. So for £17.50 a month you can become a Cineworld member and will have unlimited movies and 10% of food and drink. When to have this card you can book online. The trailers last generally for around about 30 minutes so you can always get in and watch the movie even if you're late. Free parking outside which gets filled up at peak times very quickly.

That excites me because it is so old school and it's rather rare. In fact, i don't remember the last time i saw it. They show the blockbusters, but also have different film seasons. There is currently a French one on. Today i saw UP and it was great. The cinema was full of screaming, restless kids, but i managed to zone out and enjoy the Pixar goodness.

Noted for it's spacious couch seating, waiters to bring you the snacks you ordered, and a little table to keep it all on, it is a little more expensive than other cinemas, but you get your money's worth. I have been to other Everyman cinemas and enjoyed the VIP treatment, but in this instance, I found my seat very hard to get comfortable in. It wasn't too hard, but it was so high off the ground that it was impossible for me to get comfortable. It might work for someone 6ft tall but for me, it just wasn't working. I would recommend not sitting in the front, I think there might be better elsewhere in the room.

It was delightful. Later saw Paddington Bear here too. The seats are very comfortable, especially the soft leather sofa. Unlike some other cinemas it's kept very clean. You can also purchase adult drinks at the bar to take into the studios.

It's a really lovely intimate setting - quite small so regardless of where you end up sitting you have a great view of the screen. The flicks are 13 quid a pop but that's about how much they cost everywhere else and you don't get fancy seats with all the rest! PERFECT date spot!

After the magical Winter Night Garden run ended shortly after Christmas they have swapped the winter wardrobe and evergreens to an art deco cinema set with a red carpet. Since visiting in December they have definitely sorted out the heating however the comfy bean bags have remained, with a view from each seat as good as the next. My friend and I went to see the ever classic Clueless and had a fantastic evening reminiscing our school years.. As if! I'm certainly looking forward to seeing what they release next and would thoroughly recommend the experience.

Amazing backyard cinema! My first backyard cinema experience…read moreso wasn't sure what to expect. Being greeted by a small tunnel to go through was not what I imagined. After going along a little walkway, jumping into a soft play pit and then climbing out there was the cinema. Great fun. There is bar with drinks and snacks, beanbag seats and even blankets if you need them. Amazing way to watch a film although the beanbags get a bit uncomfortable after a while. Would be back again soon
