This is my second time here and it is meh to me. It is a big complex with numerous halls, plus easy parking. I just prefer movie theaters where you can choose your seats beforehand, and where the seats are comfortable. I am not a big fan of seats where you need to push back to recline. At least the space between the rows is sufficient that the persons in front of you do not hit your knees when they push back the seat. There are plenty of food choices here, with a froyo counter too. There are also lots of arcade games to kill time while you wait for the movie to start. I noticed a party room which I guess you can also book for the kiddos.

One of the many SilverCity complexes around Greater Vancouver. Parking is surprisingly plentiful, as there is a 2-level parking lot in the complex. Just be sure to remember which part of the lot one is parking in. The pillars are colour coded. There is a nice large arcade section in the main lobby. Great for killing time. Plenty of classic games. Washrooms are super dirty, like the other locations. Try not to think about the puddles on the floor as you step through them. Stadium-style seating is always nice, and the movie experience is generally decent as long as one doesn't sit close to the walls or the front area.

I do not go out to watch movies as much as I used to. However, I do watch the odd big movie releases that I think is worthwhile in the theatre setting. I have stopped by this location a number of times. Parking usually is not an issue. The seats are a bit worn down and can use an update. Food costs a lot as expected. I suggest spending the $1 for real butter on your popcorn since you are here spending your money already.

Brian B and I went here to see The Avengers a couple of weeks ago. Apparently I had looked up the showtimes wrong and when we got there we had just missed it and the next one wasn't for an hour. We could either wait or... see the "VIP" showing. "What's VIP?" I asked skeptically. "You get to watch it in VIP" said the woman at the counter, which still didn't explain what it was or why it cost an extra $7 per person. Brian didn't want to wait so he slapped his money down and said we'd watch the VIP showing. I was SO mad at him. I couldn't believe he just paid $14 for what I thought was nothing. We argued over the price of the movie tickets all the way to the big "VIP" neon sign and once we walked through the huge glass doors our voices just kind of trailed off. There was a fully stocked bar. A NICE bar. There was also a lounge area with big scree TVs and a fire place. Even the dining area was fancy. I felt like I was at Moxies, or the Cactus Club. We had a bit of time to kill before our movie so we sat at the bar and ordered 2 double Jack and coke. The bartender was friendly, quick and knew what he was doing (the place we had to to for lunch beforehand, the bartender didn't know what an old fashioned was and I had to look it up on my phone for her). We didn't get food but aside from the regular movie theater stuff like candy and popcorn, you could also get a burger or sharable appetizers like the kinds you would find in a nice pub. The washrooms were clean and each stall was a separate room. The theater itself was great. The chairs were like big, comfy armchairs that sat in groups of two so you didn't have to worry about personal space between yourself and other people. Note: Drinks at the bar are expensive, we spent almost $25 on 2 drinks!

Watched Deadpool, the floors were a little bit sticky. Other than that everything else was okay.

A well-maintained facility. VIP is expensive, but being able to be served alcohol in a theater is priceless.

We went Saturday night and there were mainly self check kiosks and one cashier (who was very nice). The staff were also very pleasant and tended to each customer efficiently. The guests were definitely the same... they left a mess as soon as the movie was over so I feel for all theatre staff having to do clean up. We saw 3D and had recliner seats but they weren't necessarily filled with comfort. Just seemed a little run down. Washrooms were clean just no auto flush sensors.

Got try popcorn and when I got to my car, We noticed The popcorn had lots of speckles of black carbon (burnt popcorn bits or the carbon built up in the cooking kettle ) on them. The popcorn did not taste burnt, so must be the filthy kettle...too lazy to clean it after it has been sitting there unused during COVID lock down!!!! We also got several black kernels and popcorns in our bag. Took it back and I heard the supervisor said to one of the staff that "they all looked like that...". She then continued to shovel them into the individual popcorn bags for future customers. My cashier looked into the bagged popcorns and said "this one is ok" then dumped half of the bag into the contaminated popcorn, pumped some butter in them, then added the contaminated popcorn to top up then more butter....I looked at it and picked from the top three burnt popcorns and placed them just. The counter and said, looks like they're all contaminated with burnt stuff - carbon from the kettle..she said "oh, that's how they are!!!" I was shocked and asked for a refund to which she refused and the supervisor said nothing and walked away...I guess when there was as no other customers around, they don't care...oh, and there were at least 8 staff members standing behind the counter doing nothing really. They should dump all the popcorn,CLEAN the kettle and start over! What a waste of $10.50 large popcorn! So much wanted to support Meadowtown Cineplex...never again, will be driving to Langley if we ever go to the movies again!!!

The cinema was very clean, spacious, and excellent overall, with plenty of parking. The theater itself was spotless, and the staff were very friendly. As for *The IMAX Experience® in 70MM*, it really needs no introduction--it was absolutely stunning and top-tier. If you're unsure about the best seating angle, it really depends on the movie! For a film like *Project Hail Mary*, which has a family-friendly tone with strong space visuals, sitting too far back isn't ideal--being a bit closer helps you truly immerse yourself in the scenes and the scale of space. But for movies like *Dune* (based on the trailer we saw), middle or back seats are definitely better.
