Except for having to pay for $7.00 parking, we had a good time last Friday. The film we selected, F1 happened to be playing in cinema 1. An auditorium that holds around 340 movie goers! The screen was SO big that I could see Brad Pitt's sweat coming out his gorgeous pores! The theatre was clean and the movie started on time. Check, check! The popcorn had been freshly popped and the restrooms were tidy. A good experience. I'd return to this theatre location. read more

Parking is really the worst here. Having no dedicated cineplex parking so you'll have to pay by the hour. The seats were comfy but too bad it doesn't recline as much as the regular seats. The food is on the expensive side but that is to be expected for a movie theater. It was taco tuesday so I got 2 fish tacos and 1 chicken. My friend got 3 fish. When it came, the server couldnt tell which is which and didn't put any effort into finding out. Laughed it off and said sorry can't tell in the dark. I think the rows should be designed so that the servers don't have to cross everyone to put down a plate. Other than that, vip cinemas don't have any better screens or sounds. read more

We had a great experience at Cineplex in Vancouver, BC. All of the employees were polite and professional, but one person stood out the most, Marina at the concession stand. Thank you again, Marina, you are the absolute best. read more

we were hyped to watch dune part 2 on a saturday at 2:30 pm and was disappointed that they were already sold out of their infamous viral sandworm popcorn bucket. this was the first time we've been to this vip theatre at marine gateway and the seats are comfortable, but don't recline as much and there's no foot rest either. the tray table isn't as wide and it doesn't swivel from the side to the front. service was good, when we got their attention, but we had to get our popcorn from the concession stand because we wanted the combo. the bathrooms are individual, and private instead of stalls. read more

Cineplex Marine Gateway - dune 2, sandworm popcorn buckets sold out - Cinema Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

I've seen literally dozens of movies at this Cineplex over the last couple of years. Staff are friendly and I've never had a major problem in any of my visits. Box office staff are a little slow though. I keep seeing new staff here so sometimes the new staff member will call in a manager because they don't understand something which delays the transaction. On more than one occasion it took longer than it should have to make a payment for a ticket at the counter. I once asked a staff member a quick question about Cineplex's Cineclub. It's their subscription program where you get one movie ticket a month for $10 a month. The staff member had no idea about it other than the name of it. More often than not, buying tickets at the counter is quick and smooth though. I always opt for the regular screening seats and they are alright. Chair seats don't cause too much discomfort after a 2-3 hour screening. One of the regular seating screening rooms has a film screen with a spot of light gray smudge on the top. (don't remember which one) It's only really visible/distracting on very bright scenes of a movie though. Someday I'd like to try the VIP theater seating because there seems to be a lot of good reviews on Yelp about them. This location is definitely less busy than the metrotown or downtown Cineplexes so I'd usually come here more often than the other locations because of the convenience and less crowds. Sometimes I come into a movie screening for a popular movie with only 10 or so people sitting in the whole room. As a transit user, this place is very convenient as it's right by the bus loop and the Marine Gateway skytrain station. The front doors are literally a 3 minute walk to the other side of the mall from the skytrain station platform. Can't comment on their concession food. It's pretty overpriced for what it is so I very rarely buy into them and I'd rather spend the money on subway or small food items at T&T just outside. The men's washrooms get kinda crowded because they are small after a movie screening but are always super clean and functional. They have a couple arcade machines like basketball hoops, crane games, arcade racing, and air hockey. Pretty much the same arcade machines they use at the Cineplex owned arcade in Brentwood mall, The Rec Room. Note that there are sometimes interesting people lingering and loitering right outside and around Marine gateway but they usually keep to themselves. Overall I had a pretty positive experience at this Cineplex so far. 4 out of 5 stars. read more

A grateful shout-out to the female manager found at the concession during our recent outing, guiding some of the younger staff: - She helped re-adjust our seats upon check-in (my bad - I misread the diagram as to where the seats were in relation to the screen). - She found and provided a noise-isolating headset for my little one. - She was apologetic and professional when my little guy couldn't stay through the whole movie (we lasted a little less than an hour) and provided a complimentary ticket - essentially a buy-one-get-one for the next visit - so that we can finish the movie on the next visit. Well beyond expectations, particularly in this post-pandemic world - thank you! SERVICE I was initially surprised that the dedicated customer service area was empty - it was challenging to figure out who to go to in order to buy a ticket. But once I found the self-serve kiosk, my own version of The Amazing Race was on! Thankfully, all of the other staff beyond that above-mentioned female manager (younger school/university-age looking workers) helping with food orders and ticket check were courteous and professional. ENVIRONMENT Built within the last five years perhaps, the facilities were relatively clean and comfortable. It doesn't seem like a large location (like that found at Riverport or Metrotown) but that was a good thing on this day, as there was less of a rushed feeling to get food and drink in time to get to our seats - especially with a toddler in tow. Speaking of which, the place is baby stroller and wheelchair friendly and parking was relatively easy (but paid) in the underground garage below. read more

Spent extra to watch VIP. Seats were in rough shape, peeling apart. Popcorn in between the seats, and the middle arm rest is uncomfortable. Seats recline but leg support can't be adjusted. You could hear the air from the diffuser 20+feet above the entire movie. Waste of money read more

VIP level cinemas. Well worth the extra fee to select seats, enjoy the lounge (with amazing view of Richmond) and table service in seats. This was our 2nd visit and it was consistent with the 1st. Great choice if you're worried about close proximity during Covid, theatre is not full and the seats are big with retractable tray for snacks, appetizers or mains from the dining menu. It was recommended by a friend who suggested arriving early and having a cocktail on the deck. Great idea. Servers will bring your food or beverage order to your seat. Of course if you prefer to see the movie without the extras it's still very nice to have the big, comfy chairs and less crowds. read more

There was a time when VIP theatres were rare but now there are more and more so expectations are higher. This one is clearly one of the worst. The problem started when my wife and I sat down and realized our backs were not reclining. The clerk tried to fix it and said she would get the manager to come fix it. She said 20 minutes ago. At no point did the one or two people taking orders ask me what I wanted even though obviously I was annoyed. By the time the manager came and fixed our chairs there were only 5 minutes left to order before the orders were closed. Overall it was a very bad experience. Sorry this is our last visit to this theatre. read more

I have to say that they were very smart putting a theatre here and the long term projections, as this is a new hub in Vancouver. It seems like if you blink you will miss the next building erecting from the ground. Also another great thing is that there is a Skytrain station right here, so however you are getting here, it is easy. I know some may complain about paying for parking, the area being packed with traffic, blah-blah-blah, but it is the day we live in, and with more people comes more traffic, and at least now we have a movie theatre in between Vancouver and Richmond... and when was the last time we had that... Oakridge..... This Cineplex has your VIP, AVX, some theatres are equipped with Dolby ATMOS, you have your crazy DBOX seatings, and they are always playing the newest stuff. So if you don't like going to the other locations, which there are many, well just know you are getting the same here, with most of the same technology. Also this theatre has all the stuff you want in terms of junk food for your 2+ hour escape where you need to be fueled up (if you don't like the options, just know there is a few restaurants in this complex before you head in for your escape). I have sat here for DBOX (Solo: A Star Wars Story), 3D (Zootopia) and even a regular showing of a Kevin Hart flick and all the times wherever I sat it was a good view of the screen, just like all Silver City like experiences. The prices are standard with all Cineplex theatres, there is no getting around this but the advantage of this theatre is that it still isn't as packed as Downtown or Metro. I don't come here often, but when I do, it probably is the cleanest of the bunch when coming to watching a movie for a good 2+ hours. read more

We got tickets for the final Star Wars and of course needed to be focused, well fed and drinks available at all times....so we chose VIP Cineplex on Marine drive. It's such a nice experience, you feel a lot more personal attention and more like you're at home with a bunch of friends than in a crazy overpacked theatre. Me and my husband made it a date night, and we both ordered the on special 'smokehouse cheeseburger' that comes with pulled pork, tangy pickles and onions. We upgraded and got the truffle fries, always make that decision if there is a chance....truffle fries are amazing! And it comes with a garlic aioli that makes these hot crispy babies sing! The seats have a slight table that you can angle towards you so your food is right in front of you rather than eating froM the side, but I've noticed some work better than others. So maybe ask and check to make sure your table and seat recline. That makes for the best experience! I couldn't take a picture of the food because it actually got delivered in the dark when the previews started, maybe next time we'll try and go a little earlier. You can also eat your food outside in their lounge before your movie starts. There's a great view from that level of South Vancouver and the Fraser River. And usually if your there in the evening, you can catch a nice sunset. The menu is expansive and offers, vegetarian and gluten free options, huge fish bowl margaritas and a ton of sweet dessert options. If you want a fun date night out.....this is a great way to go! read more

I tried to get into an 18+ movie. I sm 18 years old and my friends are 17, and according to Cineplex rules, we can all attend as long as theres one adult. Had to do it right - VIP Theatre for Black Panther! First time experiencing this 'upgraded' service at a movie! Benson where are you!? I need a drink! Now I got to admit I was super hyped to see this movie! I avoided reading or watching the clips doing the rounds on TV & Instagram. Why go in with pre thoughts or views & only be disappointed - right!?! This cinema complex is located right at the Cambie & Marine - Canada Line station, so leave the car at home if you can. This station is also the hub for several bus routes. This whole area is becoming more busier by the month & at least four new highrises are almost complete with tenants sure to move in by the end of the year. Winners, T & T, restaurants, A & W, an Irish pub, liquor store, Starbucks & banks make up this still new thriving urban area. Having never experienced the VIP movie treatment I thought ok - a cool, highly anticipated movie requires a special viewing by moi! This is a 19+ years adult zone only! So adults get your drink on & enjoy! The bar area is very chic & on those hot summer evenings the patio will be cool to hang out on & drink wine. The seats in theatre are 'bigly' so it's easy to lose oneself in the comfort. Excellent screen viewing - no heads in front of you! Oh & this is a big point - PRIVATE washrooms! Yesssssss!!! You can order food from your chair when the 'maitre d' or 'garcon' comes around! Make sure to order early so it can delivered before the start of your movie. In regards to the food I'm not sure what to rate it against as this is a movie theatre after all & I really just want great popcorn & a drink. I had boneless chicken wings with hot sauce which were pretty good. My cocktail of gin & juice went down nicely. The popcorn was outstanding! BP was an amazing visual & epic movie! Really impressed by cast, cinematography, costumes, story line, action & pace! I'm not going to ruin it by giving away any more details or plot (like I haven't already - HA!). All I can honestly say is - 2 thumbs up & 5stars from me!!!!! I might just have to see it again! See BP as soon as you can especially if you are a Marvel Comic fan or just love a great action script. That way you avoid hearing about it from everyone else & not get caught up in high expectations! I've never bought a Digital Copy of a movie before - until now!!! read more

I've come over from Vancouver island to enjoy the big city on occasion. Usually we fit a movie in if time allows. We have enjoyed the VIP seating, great recliners, service, food and amenities. I made a drastic error last time I booked our seats on line. I went for the most expensive seats thinking they would have been the all inclusive ones. They weren't. They were just bouncy vibrating seats in the regular theatre that tossed me around during big action scenes. I thought it was kinda fun. My husband turned his off within 5 minutes but I kept mine on. Often I find I have a little nap during a movie, but not this time... 2when booking the tickets, I should have read closer. VIP is VIP. AVX & AVX D-BOX have nothing to do with VIP. If you want VIP seats, make sure that's what you're booking. It makes for a fun date night...getting pampered is always better than getting whiplash! read more

Cineplex Marine Gateway - Seating options...the word VIP on the top of the page means nothing when booking the seats below. - Cinema Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

We had been here on a few occasions to see movies and this time selected the VIP option...wow. It will be hard to watch a movie anywhere else. First off, the VIP option is adult only. They have a large open lounge with a full service bar and also a patio running along the south side of the space with views into Richmond and the airport. They have seat service right up to the start of the movie and it is a great to have servers so attentive. The seats are large, grouped for couples and you do not have to share an armrest with the person on the other side of you. The washrooms are new, clean and individual rooms...though at the end of the movie there was a line up as only 6 washrooms. There is pay parking in the underground and street parking on Marine just east of the complex if you are willing to walk a block or two...I was happy to walk a few blocks. We ate before we came so can not comment on the food but the movie experience was very positive and happy to recommend the VIP option at Marine Gateway. read more

Cineplex Marine Gateway - Nice comfortable leather seats - Cinema Near Me - Vancouver, British Columbia

I had a great time in this theatre. Service was courteous. I do agree that younger people were manning the place but I thought that they were respectful and personable. It's my first time going VIP and I really enjoyed the experience. A young man with a warm smile welcomed us by the foot of the escalator going up to the VIP lounge. He politely asked for our IDs and mentioned that it's company policy. We always have our driver's license so no worries. Once on the VIP lounge floor we were greeted by yet another staff. The lounge is occupied by nice leather couches as well as high chairs and tables and a nice bar with a wide selection of wine and cocktails. The food menu is not huge but is more than enough when watching a movie. I thought the theatre chairs were comfortable. You can recline it and you can put the armrest up or down depending if you want more space between you and your companion. I thought the overall movie experience and service were excellent. I only want to watch as VIP from now on. read more

So I was so excited to see avatar in vip. So much so I bought 10 seats for friends and family. All week I was stoked, come the day In Question we come early gather at the Irish pub Dublin whatever, on the main level absolutely amazing place great food great atmosphere. We go to our seats so we can order, I make a simple order of popcorn and a drink. And they drop the ball, the employee that took my order couldn't use his machine properly and lost my order (later found out he gave it to another couple and they couldn't figure it out, now not to brag but I'm a big dude there was no one else my size in this place. But I'm getting away from the story) anyway they waited 30 min into the movie for me to come back to the front so they didn't disturb any other patrons but could make me leave the movie and miss a chunk of the movie on day 2 of the release. So I had to miss however much time it took me to address the situation. All they did was give me my money back for the popcorn because they couldn't be bothered to turn on the popcorn machine and make me a bag like I paid for. I'm old school and love popcorn and a drink. ( my pops that is now in a full care facility started me on this tradition so I wanted to share with my loved ones) I had my hopes on this experience and this inexperienced employee that is supposed to know their job ruins my entire experience and miss a chunk of a movie that was 13 years in the making. To say I'm disappointed is not even close ( I literally spent hundreds of dollars) to how I can express my emotions right now ( yes I'm a grown man but come on it's avatar after so long bro.) not even a full refund for 2 tickets and a meal credit just a popcorn what happened to customer service especially after years of support. So update as I was leaving the manager gave me my refund and 1 admission ticket for a later date. I bought an entire row of seats and they couldn't give me 2 tickets and a meal credit so I can atleast bring my wife. Update I just found out that my sister who was also in my party asked for her nachos to have the cheese sauce on the side so someone can dip the nachos if the wished. Now it was dark when they showed up smothered in cheese sauce so she tries a chip not realizing this and almost immediately she started puking and so much so she had to leave the movie and go home to my place. This has definitely been the single most worst experience I have ever had in a cineplex movie theatre. I wish I could give a negative review this experience gave a terrible taste in my mouth kinda makes me wish I was a mystery shopper still for these guys. read more

I came here looking for some cup toppers to include in part of a goodie bag for an all girls kids party. The theatre at the time was promoting Ghostbusters and Spider-Man which wasn't very appealing to me for this occasion. An employee working at the concession who's name is Emily, I believe to be the manager, said she had some other toppers in the back room where she went to retrieve them. To me, she went above and beyond to make sure I got what would be an appropriate themed topper for the intended recipients. I just want to give her a shout out and say thank you again and hope she gets the recognition she rightfully deserves for being so personable, super friendly and accommodating and demonstrating exceptional customer service at the highest level. read more

Came to watch Wonder Woman. The movie was great, a lot better than I expected. Now for the theatre. It is a relatively new place so it's pretty clean in here. The food area is big. The actual theatre rooms are small so it doesn't accommodate too many people. The seat I was in, didn't recline as much, as I think it was partially broken. There is no Wi-Fi in this theatre so no 'TimePlay', which is odd. You would think a newer theatre would have Wi-Fi and TimePlay. You will also need to pay for underground parking. They don't reimburse at all. T&T will reimburse you for parking, I think an hour or two worth. Why doesn't Cineplex do that since we would have to be there longer. Even just a partial reimbursement, as an incentive to come here. If you do park, make sure you buy enough as there are parking staff who walk around to check your times. When I came back to my car, I probably saw at least 10 cars with tickets and I wasn't that far away from the elevators. I would recommend trying to find parking on Yukon ( if you can ) and walk a little. read more

The ultimate comfort! The seats are quite possibly the best part of the entire experience, they feel like a 90s lazy boy recliner - durable and oh so comfy. Before heading into our movie, we opted for a drink and some food - I got a Ceasar and Classic Poutine, we also got popcorn shrimp for all of us to share. The poutine was small but really surprisingly good! They use real cheese curds and the gravy was piping hot with good flavour. The popcorn shrimp had a ton in the bowl, we actually couldn't finish them. I love cocktail sauce, but for these little guys I would have loved a spicy aioli! They shrimps were a touch salty but I expected that out of popcorn shrimp at a theatre. The Ceasar was good but overpriced at $11.50. I should have stuck with just a water. The theatre experience itself is nice and quiet (no kiddies) which was really nice. It was totally dead too because of the snow, so it felt like the theatre was totally just ours. I would do it again but probably for a special occasion. read more

Really wasn't sure what to expect with this whole VIP experience, but it was definitely worth the few extra bucks. With that said, Tuesday is the day to go for this, because the VIP price is basically the same as the non-VIP non-Tuesday price. Parking is available along Yukon, as well as the paid parkade underneath. Not sure if one can get one's money back with movie purchase. The interior is new, but obviously smaller than the likes than SilverCity. The (non-VIP) venue is probably more like something along the lines of Tinseltown or Fifth Avenue. As for the VIP experience, here's what one gets: 1) Separate door from the main area, with its own dedicated doorman. There's a short walk down a corridor, then another set of escalators. Why watch a movie on the same level as the common folk, right? 2) The VIP floor has a classy bar (think Cactus Club), with comfy booths, as well as a large outdoor patio. Great view from here. One can see the airport, as well as Vancouver Island. This area is nice enough to almost be a standalone venue. The bartender was very cordial and friendly. Struck up a conversation with us while we enjoyed our pre-movie drinks. 3) Drinks can be had while watching the movie! 4) Seats are nicer than most armchairs in people's living rooms. Nicely padded, with electric tilt control. 5) Private (individual) washrooms. They have the right intention, but actually this does unfortunately mean people take a lot longer. There was a lineup both before and after the movie. Unfortunately 6 washrooms is simply insufficient for the number of guests. This is my only complaint about the experience. With that said, this is definitely worth checking out. Now if only the parking were free downstairs. read more

This is the newest Theatre I know of at this moment. I had to check it out and I have to say my experience has been pretty good. I love this theater. This is one of the bigger theater with 3 VIP rooms, very good AVX surround sound, DBox and etc. The theater is newer meaning that the seats are way more comfy. Its nice faux leather seats and the seats are way wider. Also the isle are wider as well, this means more leg room. They have ATOM surround sound and this does make a very big difference on the movie experience. We came for the UltraAVX 3D movie. The screens are way bigger and wider. Not to mention the place is way cleaner. Also there are a lot more food options here. Well I don't care much of theater food but for some who are coming right after work missing out on dinner this theater would be a better option. They don't have a lot of regular or general movie shown here. As well due to the room limitation they don't have a lot of choices in the movie available showing here. Parking is not free here unless you find a spot on the street and that you don't mind walking. Overall, this will be my new place to go in terms of movie. Its way better than the other theaters I always go to like Silvercity. read more

This is a review for the VIP theatre. Being from downtown, this is the closest VIP theatre for us. This theatre is modern and spacious, and the staff is always friendly. The seats are clean and comfortable. Due to its location, it is not nearly as busy as Scotiabank or Metrotown, even on weekends. Food is hit or miss. My partner loves the chipotle chicken wrap, and I like the nachos (very little cheese though). Calamari tasted awful and full of batter so I definitely regret ordering it. The Chopped salad is nice, and so is the boneless chicken wings. The quesadilla is quite simple; it actually tastes like a cheesy chicken tortilla pressed sandwich (there were no onions or green peppers or spices). I enjoyed it, but I don't think anyone expecting a traditional quesadilla would like it much. Parking is $6 for 3 hours, but if you go purchased $10 or more at T&T, just give them your parking ticket and they will reimburse you $3. There is also free parking east of Yukon if you are willing to walk. read more

The vip seats here are very comfy, they are super safe when it comes to checking ID and vaccine passports. The service in the VIP area is very good as well. Very well mannered and quick service. I've watched a few shows here with the vip and it's been a must ever since the first time. 100% coming back here. The food is ok la, not the greatest but it's dinner and a show I can't exactly complain! (P.S don't get the calamari it wasn't good it was mainly batter and didn't have good seasoning or texture. A VIP treatment is always good. Having food delivered to you instead if fighting a line up and have drinks while you watch a movie is pretty sweet. Obviously you have to pay more for the treatment but its ok to treat yourself once in a while. Lol The wednesday dinner and movie seems like a good deal. My only complaint was the unisex bathroom. Minus 1 star. When its just women its dirty and long enough and now we have to share with the men. I think there were only 6 stalls. Not cool. read more

Recently went to the VIP theatre here for the first time and it was amazing! We entered the VIP area, where you're supposed to have your ID checked because it's 19+ inside (ie no kids in your movie). Up some elevators, there's a nice lounge area with a full bar and food menu. The view is south facing and you can see well into Richmond. There's also a patio here which would be stellar in the summer. You also have the option of going into the theatre and taking your seats (assuming the previous movie has finished). There are plenty of staff inside that will take your order on their tablet devices and bring you whatever food and drink you want, right to your seat. They take credit and debit on the spot. Get your orders in before the movie starts because they aren't around afterwards. The seats are paired loveseat style and very comfortable. Each one has a sliding table on the arm that you can swing out to put your food//drinks on, not unlike an airline tray. There's also a divider between the seats that you can raise up to sit closer together Overall, it's a cool idea and makes for a better movie experience. I'll definitely go again! read more

Imagine a VIP theatre experience. The comfort! The glitz! The horderves! When you purchase this VIP ticket at double the regular price, you are expecting class. Enter through the frosted glass automatic sliding doors, to a majestic experience. The service person takes you ticket and you are off. First, you will find a 3 story escalator, but it has been disabled so you can take the stairs and admire the grandness of the hall. Next, you flop down in your cushy reclining seat. Push it to its maximum recline, just short of 1 inch! And enjoy resting angles that are steeper than economy airline seats. Search for the food tray, and find it firmly integrated into the chair arm. It is so secure, you almost didn't know it was there. And when you finally get it to jut forward your food is instantly transported 3 rows forward. You're welcome Steve! Your server will promptly take your order, ensuring to charge for a much more expensive "loaded perogies" when you ordered and received a "mini perogies". Your server will conveniently forget to mention the up-charge from the side harvest salad to the side Caesar salad when he recommends you select the Caesar. When your food arrives, it will have the fresh taste of McDonald's stored in a freezer for a year and then reheated in the microwave! Don't worry, they didn't microwave the buns, so those aren't soggy! Finally, should you have any issues, there will be no managers available after the show. You can search for them for 15 minutes, but trust that they are hidden away safely. And when you contact customer service, they will wait 4 days to reply and then tell you that you should have handled the incorrect charges on the day of your visit. *** In all seriousness, I have always enjoyed Cinemax, but their VIP experience at this location is a complete joke. I have been to many theatres like this in Seattle (Cinebarre) and Austin (Alamo Drafthouse), but never have I experienced one as expensive and low quality as this. If you do choose to go anyway, the "Give me all the Vodka Bowl" was quite good. Skip the food entirely. And check you bill immediately, not after the movie. read more

This has been a new regular movie-going spot for me since it opened, and I stopped going to Cineplex Riverport. I'm going to focus on the VIP side, which I have been to twice now. The second experience was a lot better than the first, so it seems that they make improvements. First time I went to VIP, I sat at the bar and had a full meal there before going into the theatre. The appearance and atmosphere of the place is reeeeally nice. It makes me feel like a very important person. However, it was great until I put the food in my mouth... I'd say the food and drinks were Cactus Club cost without the quality, which was really disappointing because eating food is one of the most important parts of life and completes any experience. Second time, I went on a double date with a friend and his girlfriend and the experience was much better. We arrived in the VIP lounge 20 minutes early, and the server recommended that we just go into the theatre to order because it would be more comfortable to stay in one place, get our food, eat, watch movie, etc. So we're like, "Good call! We like that call." Went in ordered food and beer, watched the movie, it was good. The trick is to order pitchers of beer before the movie starts. If you want more than one pitcher and you're pretty early for the movie like me, order one and drink it, then JUST before the movie starts order another one so it's fresh. Also, I took a risk and ordered a feature menu item (coconut shrimp) and was afraid it would not be worthwhile again. BUT it was great! A little small, but tasted really good. But usually, I would play it safe and order something that can't go wrong (even though it still could), like a burger. read more

What better way to watch a 3 hr movie ( Avengers Endgame ) than lounging at the VIP theatres and seated in ultra comfy seats. We ordered to salad dishes, pulled pork poutine and calamari. Considering the setting the food was actually good. Our server was amazing which made it a 1st class experience. I feel I need to get another job if I continue watching movies this way.....but it's worth it. read more

Came here specifically because they were one of the only theaters showing a specific movie in the area (it had been playing for a while) and we (hubs & myself) had been wanting to check it out for a while. I was surprised to walk in and see that it was laid out kind of like Scotiabank Theatre downtown but didn't feel as congested and crowded for a Friday night. It was very easy to navigate inside and it was small than expect but I didn't mind one bit. The bathrooms were clean, staff was friendly and honestly I can't wait to go back. Add in the fact it is easy to get to by transit (we don't have a car) via the Canada Line and I can tell you that we will DEFINITELY be coming back here again. read more
