Dirty unsanitary, popcorn mess all over. Bathrooms a mess, no paper towels Cheap owner... obviously

Surprisingly good theatre tucked inside a Skytrain station. Parking is free on weekends up the hill. Bit of a workout. There are also pay spots on the nearby streets, as well as the not so cheap lot underneath the station. The location is a bit wonky with some seriously poor signage. The entrance is at the same level of the tracks. Head in from 8th Street (stairs/escalators right at the entrance), walk past the Safeway walking past the 1st set of stairs/escalators, then go up the 2nd set, and all the way to the end. Space must be a premium around here. The entrance is small, but the lobby is quite large. Spacious and well lit. The theatres themselves are located along a long twisty hallway. Not sure if every room is like this, but the one I went to had large comfy electric reclining chairs. There's even enough room for people to walk past even with the ottoman fully extended. The 3D movie I saw was only $14 (January 2020) even with these seats. This would probably be $25 for the equivalent at a Cineplex theatre. We have a new winner. Definitely will be back at some point. Recommended.

I went here earlier for a free ticket via Google local guides. I was so blown away that Landmark deserves 5 stars from me. *Pros: comfy seats, morning &Tuesday specials and ticket reservation. My ticket price was actually $9.99 for 12:30, and morning price would've been $8.50, SWEET! No need to wait at the box office. No Suzy seat-kicker (this is MY biggest pet peeve at movies) and fewer crowds than Silver City. Washroom was VERY clean. The reclining chair came with a leg room, and I felt very like watching movie at home. It must've been the sofa chair and I wish I had my blanket lol. *Cons: smaller selection than Silver City. Less seating spaces (suitable for 20+ people in the room) and no AVX (rocker chair) experience here. They don't support Timeplay app here and it must be for Silver City only. Guildford location plays foreign subtitle movies for those who are interested in foreign movies. Low price and comfy reclining chair were FANTASTIC! Invite your friends on Atom app for $5 discount; this promo offers additional discount for frugal folks. Definitely two thumbs up from me.

I'm lovin' this new movie theatre located in New Westminster. Landmark Cinemas is located inside the New Westminster Skytrain station. The skytrain actually runs right beside it, but there's a sky-walk if you need to cross over to the other side. The theatre seating isn't as comfortable as Silvercity's, but it's still of great quality. I'm not a fan of the parking lot downstairs and I was confused when trying to park for the first time. It's not very well thought out. Good thing is that your parking is reimbursed though, so remember to keep your movie stubs and parking ticket.

I like this cinema. Conveniently located right by New Westminster skytrain (same level as the gates), it is easy to get here. The hall is clean and the seats are comfortable. It does move but not overly so you will not get your knees hit by the back of the seat in front of you. You can also choose your seats so there is no worry about not sitting together with friends or going early to get your choice seat. It is not a huge cineplex but it is good enough with a decent selection of movies. The washroom is also clean and stocked with TP and paper towels.

A theatre where you can actually reserve your seats! What a concept. And I only paid $12 to watch Star Wars in 3D! Theatre has very plush, reclining seats. Sound system was amazing with great staging. Loud yet clear. Every seat has good line of sight, even though guy in front of me was six feet tall. The only downside was the price of the snacks and combos. Seriously? $15 for a pop, popcorn and a snack? That's more than the movie ticket. Good access via skytrain and parking is cheap at $2 for 4 hours if you're watching a movie. Will definitely come again. I will smuggle in some contraband snacks next time.

That said, the popcorn was filled to the brim with that buttery goodness one would expect from a cinema outing. While it was a bit salty, the extra salt averted the need to run to the restroom during a three-hour long film and that was appreciated as it allowed me to enjoy the film in its totality. The food court offered: hot dogs, pulled-pork burgers, and fries: not a large selection of items but delicious especially when you consider the decent amount of toppings offered at the topping bar. The restroom was accommodating although some of the toilets would not flush as if they had been overused and had long since given up the ghost. Nevertheless, I was able to perform the deed in peace. Nice job, Cineplex.

I didn't know that my husband had purchased special tickets with motion vibrating seats, synchronized to the movie sounds effects. I spent the first 5 minutes completely annoyed that my chair wouldn't recline and an annoying massage feature to go along with that. After learning it was a special feature, I turned it back on. The vibrations do add to the experience, but I can't say that it is for me. The vibrating seats are stiff, narrow and very upright. I'd much rather have plush reclining seats as an added feature. The seat next to me had its rubber seat trim fallen off and hanging on the floor ++tripping hazard on the upper row. I appreciate all the innovative and different movie viewing options offered at this location. I even saw a sensory viewing option for autistic viewers??

I was sure everyone were so frustrated not to catch the movie on time. I talked to the receptionist/cast member but she was busy for dealing her smart phone (don't bring it at workplace especially while you are talking to the customer) Three hours later, after I watched the movie, the transaction machine still had no sign like out of order. Even they haven't opened physical ticket booth. One other cast member was just walking around telling "Thank you for coming". It doesn't make any sense and no help at all. They pretend they were doing best without any effort.

I got their chicken buffalo poutine and donuts, both of which were sooo good! The poutine was so flavourful and the chicken was crispy and saucy. The donuts were soft and they gave a caramel dipping sauce on the side which made it even better. Both the items were freshly made which definitely added to the taste. Giving one star less because the bathrooms in the cinema weren't clean despite there being so many stalls. It was the last show of the night but I've been to other cineplex and none have been this bad. The only time I come to this location is if I want to watch a bollywood movie!

I was very happy to learn that the gravy on the poutine was vegetarian so I'd be able to eat it! Not an awesome poutine but it was better than I expected. Think I'd have preferred a larger serving of it but...it's a movie theatre and not a Costco so I guess I can't really complain about it! When I went to get our popcorn the person working at the counter asked me if I'd like to add butter or not. It costs extra for them to add butter so I took the popcorn as it was. Funny thing is...this theatre has dispensers where you can pump your own butter on to the popcorn. Why would anyone pay extra to add butter when they can pump the butter themselves for free?! From previous experience at a different SilverCity, they did ask last time whether we'd like to have the butter layered. So...I guess having different layers of butter throughout the bag as opposed to just one layer of it on top might be just cause for charging slightly more but...is it really worth an extra few dollars more?! The popcorn seems to already be kinda buttered already even without asking them to add butter or dispensing the butter yourself. I could see that some of the kernels were white and some were more yellowish from having butter on them. Service: Good Parking: Plentiful and free

They thank us for coming every time and do a good job at cleaning the theatres. This theatre has a few special experiences. The IMAX theatre is very big with excellent sound and graphics. We have watched Tron: Ares, Mission, Impossible: Dead Reckoning and The Bride! in IMAX. This IMAX theatre is a lot bigger than Silvercity Riverport which only has 10 rows. The only complaint I have is that it costs $28. Screen X is a 270 degree experience with 3 screens with selected scenes using all 3 screens. We watched Scream 7 and 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple in Screen X. The two side screens are 90 degrees on the side walls and lower resolution. It would be better if the screens were 45 degrees. The side screens usually have some background images. They have two UltraAVX theatres which has enhanced graphics and sound. We watched How to Train a Dragon, Ballerina, Lilo & Stitch, The Black Phone 2, Nobody 2, Wuthering Heights and Reminders of Him in UltraAVX. The action movies are worth paying the extra $6 but we can't tell much difference with the drama movies except for the bigger screen. The IMAX and UltraAVX theatres on level 2 have new leather, high back seating that lean back. Theatres 4-9 upstairs still have old, cloth seats that need to be upgraded. Some of them are broken and still being sold. The other locations we have been to, including International Village, Metropolis, Marine Gateway and Fifth Avenue all have new seats and do a better job at not selling broken seats and taping them off. They have soda machines that have 100+ flavours to choose from including zero sugar and unlimited refills. My favourites are strawberry sprite and pineapple Fanta. It's about $7 for a medium. Getting the large popcorn is worth it as it's a lot bigger than the medium and you get one free refill. Unlimited popcorn topping.
