Smaller theatre out of the ones I've been to. Satisfactory movie night experience - not bad but not anything out of the ordinary! We went Saturday night and there were mainly self check kiosks and one cashier (who was very nice). The staff were also very pleasant and tended to each customer efficiently. The guests were definitely the same... they left a mess as soon as the movie was over so I feel for all theatre staff having to do clean up. We saw 3D and had recliner seats but they weren't necessarily filled with comfort. Just seemed a little run down. Washrooms were clean just no auto flush sensors. read more

Popcorn not edible!!! Poor service!!! My 11 year old wanted some popcorn to take home so We stopped by to buy a large popcorn with extra butter....but we got more then that. Got try popcorn and when I got to my car, We noticed The popcorn had lots of speckles of black carbon (burnt popcorn bits or the carbon built up in the cooking kettle ) on them. The popcorn did not taste burnt, so must be the filthy kettle...too lazy to clean it after it has been sitting there unused during COVID lock down!!!! We also got several black kernels and popcorns in our bag. Took it back and I heard the supervisor said to one of the staff that "they all looked like that...". She then continued to shovel them into the individual popcorn bags for future customers. My cashier looked into the bagged popcorns and said "this one is ok" then dumped half of the bag into the contaminated popcorn, pumped some butter in them, then added the contaminated popcorn to top up then more butter....I looked at it and picked from the top three burnt popcorns and placed them just. The counter and said, looks like they're all contaminated with burnt stuff - carbon from the kettle..she said "oh, that's how they are!!!" I was shocked and asked for a refund to which she refused and the supervisor said nothing and walked away...I guess when there was as no other customers around, they don't care...oh, and there were at least 8 staff members standing behind the counter doing nothing really. They should dump all the popcorn,CLEAN the kettle and start over! What a waste of $10.50 large popcorn! So much wanted to support Meadowtown Cineplex...never again, will be driving to Langley if we ever go to the movies again!!! read more

A solid 3.5 stars, sadly with this limited food concessions, won't get a 4 from me lol. Just your basic popcorn and the horrible Outtakes wanna-be poutine and the rest of the menu. But being out in the super-burbs, I've never seen it super busy, even on half-price Tuesdays. Do like the fact that there aren't as many teenie boppers here, or other riff raff. Mellow crowds. Arcade section on the left, does seem a bit more isolated and away from the lineups. read more

I had my daughters birthday party here this weekend and I was so impressed. It's a great deal and they treated us so well. Even gave My daughter a gift and a card signed by the staff. Do a kids birthday party here! Only Downside is that you can't choose the exact time or film until the Tuesday before the party. But other than that I will for sure do another party here! read more

Came here the other weekend to take my step daughter to Ice Age. What I liked about it was that it was roomy and not nearly as pricey as some locations. It didn't cost me an arm, leg and first born to go. Since this location is closest to my step daughter I will definitely be back. I would recommend them even if I weren't going to be. read more

These days movie theatres are a dime a dozen and there isn't much variety between them. The one thing that makes the Pitt Meadows Cineplex location better than the rest is the roomy rows with comfortable, reclining seats. I'll drive to this theatre over others that are the the same distance from my house, just for these seats! The only drawback to this theatre is that the lot is a shared number with the large outlet mall it is in and it can sometimes be tricky to find parking so factor this in to your arrival time. read more

Went to watch the horror movie Rings and our movie stopped half way through due to power outage with complete darkness for a long time and left the kids in the theatre screaming and running around . Thought it was a prank for a split second , unfortunately wasn't the case .After a while, a staff came and apologized and told us they're turning on the movie and so we give her a signal as to how far back to rewind and stop, which we did . It played this time with no sound and she was nowhere to be found and we all watched a good 10 mins of the movie on mute . They noticed as ppl went outside and complained then they turned the volume back on. And on the side note : the popcorn topping fountain had stale and disgusting butter coming out . Umm Yeahhhhhh don't think we are going back to this theatre ever again . Thanks but no thanks . read more

Stupidly, I purchased (on line) my tickets for Coquitlam in error. Mgr Dave R. was so helpful. He had us in our theatre in minutes. He even came looking for us (in our theatre) to make sure it worked out properly. read more

After not having watched a 3D movie in a long time we decided to watch Valerian in 3D. Cool movie not so cool 3D. I would say 70% of the movie was in 3D. Also 3D makes the screen look smaller then watching non 3D movies. not worth it. Better 3D on my neighbours tv. At the concession service was good but what they sell i don't like. No options for better reduced sugar sodas or healthier snacks. My microwave popcorn tastes better, who needs a gigantic bag of margarine infused chewy popcorn. Same old fountain drinks nothing new here. I don't drink them. Frozen yogurt is a patty of artificial goop thats blended with some ice and served to me in a cup, frozen yogurt had bitter taste. 2 out of 10 for the popcorn. 5 out of 10 for 3D, 10-10 Comfort and A/C level, 3 out of 10 for frozen yogurt, 9 out of 10 for service provided by staff. read more

Have watched this theatre charge more and more and offer less and less. My son, wife and I usuall go to the Hollywood 3 cinemas down the road where a 3d movie and treats costs $25 for the 3 of us. But I missed the movie start time so headed to cineplex. Tickets for just my son and I to see escape from planet earth in 3d came to $25! We were early so we could play some of the arcade games. Tried a few then put 4 tokens in the air hockey, no puck. Got a employee to look at it. Couldn't find any puck. Said I'll get you your tokens and be back. 10min later and no tokens returned to me I headed to the concession. Son got the monsters inc kids pack, $7.99 which I expected. Then headed for my usual hot dog, nacho and pop combo. $12 ouch, turned to put on the condiments and all there was was ketchup and relish....no mustard? They used to have all the fixings, banana peppers sour kraut, onions, honey mustard, BBQ sauce etc. Well at least I could get some onions by asking the kid behind the counter, as that is how I got them last time. After patiently standing above the wieners watching the one kid make fries while looking up to stare at me and the other girl work the fryer I had to be rude and speak loudly " do you have any onions"? I asked. The response: " no, we don't do that anymore". What the... So my $12 hot dog just got ketchup and relish? Just wondering if I had gotten fries would there have been vinegar. I walked over to the condiments..the vinegar bin was full of pepper! So we watched the movie and left. I felt like a sucker. When I left the house I expected to pay higher prices; what I didn't was to get so little for my money. In total it was a $60 night. Won't be back. Instead will continue to support the little guy at the Hollywood 3 where employees smile, charge less and offer awesome customer service.
