This is my second time here and it is meh to me. It is a big complex with numerous halls, plus easy parking. I just prefer movie theaters where you can choose your seats beforehand, and where the seats are comfortable. I am not a big fan of seats where you need to push back to recline. At least the space between the rows is sufficient that the persons in front of you do not hit your knees when they push back the seat. There are plenty of food choices here, with a froyo counter too. There are also lots of arcade games to kill time while you wait for the movie to start. I noticed a party room which I guess you can also book for the kiddos.

One of the many SilverCity complexes around Greater Vancouver. Parking is surprisingly plentiful, as there is a 2-level parking lot in the complex. Just be sure to remember which part of the lot one is parking in. The pillars are colour coded. There is a nice large arcade section in the main lobby. Great for killing time. Plenty of classic games. Washrooms are super dirty, like the other locations. Try not to think about the puddles on the floor as you step through them. Stadium-style seating is always nice, and the movie experience is generally decent as long as one doesn't sit close to the walls or the front area.

Brian B and I went here to see The Avengers a couple of weeks ago. Apparently I had looked up the showtimes wrong and when we got there we had just missed it and the next one wasn't for an hour. We could either wait or... see the "VIP" showing. "What's VIP?" I asked skeptically. "You get to watch it in VIP" said the woman at the counter, which still didn't explain what it was or why it cost an extra $7 per person. Brian didn't want to wait so he slapped his money down and said we'd watch the VIP showing. I was SO mad at him. I couldn't believe he just paid $14 for what I thought was nothing. We argued over the price of the movie tickets all the way to the big "VIP" neon sign and once we walked through the huge glass doors our voices just kind of trailed off. There was a fully stocked bar. A NICE bar. There was also a lounge area with big scree TVs and a fire place. Even the dining area was fancy. I felt like I was at Moxies, or the Cactus Club. We had a bit of time to kill before our movie so we sat at the bar and ordered 2 double Jack and coke. The bartender was friendly, quick and knew what he was doing (the place we had to to for lunch beforehand, the bartender didn't know what an old fashioned was and I had to look it up on my phone for her). We didn't get food but aside from the regular movie theater stuff like candy and popcorn, you could also get a burger or sharable appetizers like the kinds you would find in a nice pub. The washrooms were clean and each stall was a separate room. The theater itself was great. The chairs were like big, comfy armchairs that sat in groups of two so you didn't have to worry about personal space between yourself and other people. Note: Drinks at the bar are expensive, we spent almost $25 on 2 drinks!

This review is based entirely on my VIP experience. The lounge was amazing! Pitcher and a burger before going to see my feature film in 3D? Doesn't get much better than that! I found the food and bevys to be average pub prices, the quality was surprisingly quite good, too. The ability to select your seating in a 19+ environment just made things that much better. The seats are larger, more spacious and my gangly long legs don't feel so cramped! YAY! What takes the cake for me? BEING ABLE TO ORDER MORE FOOD TO YOUR SEAT!!! Got a hankering for a piece of cheesecake half way through your movie? Or maybe even some nachos? Your wish is their command. What lost a star: This is the only VIP set-up in Canada that does not allow liquor in the actual movie theatre area. I would love to be able to order another beer or a glass of wine to accompany my movie... Make it happen, Cineplex!

Great location, parking is not bad either as they got an underground. Staff are nice and the arcade is sick.

10 minutes to get a $4.00 regular hotdog! Wow. Major fail at Cineplex. The food service manager needs a serious upgrade.

Which is annoying I'm 5 ft and my feet straight out my shoes rests on the top of the seat in front. So you can't sit relaxed you'll kick the seat in front. And they have slide out tables seat side that almost broke my finger. Someone needs to spray some WD40 cuz they don't move well and with drink and food it's an accident waiting to happen. Food was great. We had it at the dining area not seat side as we arrived almost 90 mins before the seat side dining started. Price was reasonable. $113 for 3 people. 3 drinks and 4 dishes. Seat side snacks was not a very fun experience. They acted like "you should just know the menu and the sizes of the items" Asked you what you wanted. But when you asked what they had. They don't present a menu or much. Just said what you want When you tell them. Oh we don't have that or that or that Seems like their pre covid candy menu shrunk by 60%. They had like "2" chocolates to choose from. And M&M they only had chocolate and peanuts. Pre covid they had the pretzel and even the rice and peanut butter ones The popcorn was nice. And fresh. The drinks were the same. Went up by $1.99 nice pricing scheme $13 went to $14.99 wink wink. But it's fine. Napkins was hilarious. Asked for extra butter on the popcorn so asked for extra napkins. They gave us "3" for the 3 of us Asked for more napkins clarifying why. And they came back with 4 napkins (3 of us) So I just said give us a inch cuz I don't want greasy hands mid movie and nothing to wipe them They came back with a reasonable stack of napkins that "just covered" what we used that night. We had no clean napkins by end of show. Needs to have like built in napkin dispensers in the chairs or something hahaha

Only VIP section, we are okay with the regular minor allowed theaters…read more Our first time going to their VIP section, we usually go to the Brentwood one. Extremely disappointed, considering that the prices are exactly the same as the Brentwood location. The gender neutral (I'm all for equality, don't get me wrong) washrooms all wreak, even after they've cleaned them, IF you can find one where men haven't splashed pee all over seats and surrounding area. The seats are just slightly enlarged seats of regular theater chairs with a cheap tray attached. Not the enlarged cushioned powered recliners with heating options. Unless they upgrade their chairs & have cleaner washrooms for us that are physically challenged that needs to sit on toilets, we're not returning. Felt like we paid for business class seats, then unwillingly dumped onto economy seats.

We purchased tickets ahead of time online to select the perfect seats and check in was a breeze. After entering our vehicle license plate on the kiosk inside the lobby we were told we'd be receiving four hours of complimentary parking instead of the regular 3 because our movie "Odyssey" runs for almost three hours. Bonus! After walking down the well lit corridor thanks to the floor to ceiling windows, you arrive at the bar/dining area. This 75 seat and table bar /dining area. It is nice to have a meeting spot prior to or after seeing a film. Locating your theatre is simple as walking down the next hall. All five auditoriums are in a row. I believe this is the second adult only Cineplex VIP exclusive theatre venue in Canada. ( The other being Park Royal.) RealD 3D is featured and adds extra depth and realism to compatible films. Their full recliner is the feature that my husband was most thankful for. The headrest has a separate adjustment to obtain the perfect movie watching position. In seat, food and drink is the sole way to purchased food here. Popcorn and sodas included! My only minor disappointment involved the popcorn toppings. I usually drench mine in the canola-flavored oil because I'm lactose intolerant--and, honestly, I just prefer the taste. Only butter topping is available at this location so I had to defer and pop a Lactaid pill. It was pretty tasty! The super clean, modern bathrooms were an unexpected bonus and should get recognition as well! It was a solid five star experience.
