I went back to the nail salon twice since my initial visit and both times my manicure/pedicure was horrible!!! Both times it was rushed and looked like a 5 year old painted my nails and toes. I wish I had taken photos where the polish ran into my cuticle, they missed spots on my nails, they barely cleaned up my cuticles and the polish was applied streaky. I don't know if these ladies are straight out of training, but to put it mildly "they suck and need more training. It was an awful experience!!!! Another thing I noticed which may be language barrier issue is the ladies are not friendly at all. When I am paying for a service like a nail salon I'm willing to "try-out" other people but unfortunately those 2 experiences, after my initial good experience made me decide to no longer spend my money there. Strangely after I had the good manicure with Miriam I never saw her again. My best recommendation if you go there is to ask for Miriam. Maybe she was off when I went there or worked later in the day. If this salon continues to operate this way I doubt they will be in business very long. read more

My experience was sooo bad. For one, I requested a specific nail and the owner went on and on how terrible it would look and how noone does such a thing. I was asking for ombre tips and she just didnt want to do it... Then i settled for a plain powder gel. It came off over the next two days. never has a powder gel come off on its own, a day after the manicure. The manicurist didn't do a great job and gave me an ingrown nail. I won't be returning, the only reason I went was because they were open on sunday. next time, ill wait a day and go somewhere competent. oh, and it was $20 more than my usual place for the same job. read more

Cindy's nails is really good. The staff is super nice and accommodating and I'm not breaking the bank. I'm able to go every two weeks instead of just once a month for me time. I have noticed that you have to pay attention to who's doing your nails as far as being brooked or uneven, I correct issues and than they are great! The polish on my toes stays on and my nails look great even with my extremely active job. PLUS they are open on Sunday's and that's my only day off right now! I've been here a few times and honestly they did a good job in the past however they have the worst customer service etiquette. From my experience as a person of color I believe that they are prejudice. I tried to give them a chance twice but they prove me wrong each time. They never welcome the Black customers and pick us last when we get there before others. Yesterday was my last day patronizing this awful establishment! I purchased a mani and pedi my toe nail polish is chiped and one of my fingers is chipped also (Gel polish). Absolutely horrible. The worst dip powder manicure I've ever received. My nails were uneven and bubbling before I even left the salon. While the owner was cashing me out she apologized and stated that she would do them the next time. No refund or offer to fix though. I had to immediately go to a different salon to have them removed and replaced. Terrible work and terrible costumer service. read more

My recent experience with trying to make an appointment turned out to be a fiasco when I was running A few minutes for an appointment I called Cindy and spoke to her and she said come over I left my house in five minutes I was there. Much to my surprise when I knocked on the door she said we're closed come back tomorrow when I explain to her I was the one that just called she said well it's too late she knew I was coming over and just turned me away very bad business. Same thing happened again I have an appointment I told her I would make the appointment at the time and when I got there again too late store closed. This is very bad business I understand there's a language barrier but if you're going to say yes yes come then that means you wait for your customer especially if they're five minutes away and they took the courtesy time to call you say they'd be late. It was the most horrible experience ever on my nails, none of them had no idea how to put tips, zero idea how to shape and file .even if someone practiced on my nails they'd do a better job. I went there with my friend And she literally grabbed to file her own nails. Every single one of my nails had a different length and shape. I went home and filled them off!! This was by far the best manicure I've ever gotten, can't say that for the pedicure because it was the first one, but it was wayyy better than I expected! I don't know people's names, but the woman with the long dark hair did an excellent job on my feet (which were pretty terrible) and the owner of the place did my nails, we did an expedited version because I had to get home, but if that was the quick one then the regular manicure must be exceptional! Also, I walked in half hour before closing and they still gave me full proper service, even staying 20 minutes past closing. Highly impressed. Thanks! read more

Very disappointed in my service. I was rushed and treated abruptly from the moment I arrived. I called before I arrived and asked if they had availability and they said come now. I waited a short time and a woman came out and was still eating strong smelling food as she sat to begin my service. She was very quick with the gel manicure, left polish under my nails, shaped them poorly and gave me a brief hand massage and no shoulder massage, while I observed others getting one with their manicures. I will not return to this nail salon even though being open Sunday and the location is convenient to my residence. read more

I'm shocked by all these bad reviews. I moved to Suffern a few years ago. I haven't been able to find a local nail place that I like. I tried a few places and they did a terrible job. I decided to give this place a try Memorial Day weekend. I thought they did a GREAT job. The place is clean. The staff was very nice. I didn't have any problem and intend to go again. Horrible. Really low quality work. Got tips done they came out croocked and the color was spotty. Definetly will Not be coming back.
