I had a few burns from a previous acne treatment and she was gentle and suggested great alternatives to correct it. I was super happy with my service. My skin feels more refreshed and clean. Helene did a great job! I will most certainly be returning back here for another facial by her. I was not disappointed and recommend checking her out if you're in the area - even if you're not, it's worth taking the drive as I did myself. Also a huge plus she's so sweet. Only con was I was informed the service would cost me $50. When going up to the desk to pay I was charged $65. Not sure why it went up $15 dollars. Looks like next time I'll have to triple ask before getting into the room for a service.

I told her about a really traumatic experience I had with an esthetician & she put me at ease entirely. It was truly a wonderful experience & I already have booked my next follow up appointment. I felt like I had know her for years upon meeting her! She was truly interested in my skin concerns & addresses the problems directly. She also provided me with some samples that were for my skin type. I knew I was in safe hands. 1000% recommend. PS You can see by the pic [no filter] how smooth & texture free my skin is. Literally glowing. All I have on it is a little bit of sunscreen that Helene put on.

The owner did my nails, she was sweet for the most part but was doing my nails as well as another girl, which is frustrating because it delays my process, keeps me there longer as well as her getting distracted. Toward the end she was rushing and no longer shaping my nails as it seemed that she had overbooked the salon. She got up 2 times to do eyebrow waxes. Truthfully I am a waitress and I understand that things happen and running a business isn't easy, but my nails ended up translucent instead of a soft teal and I paid to sit there for over an hour for it. I would say given how many salons do dip powder, don't waste your time

Redeeming online deals are always a tricky business because you never know if you'll receive the same service and reception as a full-paying customer or a regular. But here, it was a breeze. When I called over the phone, the receptionist readily accepted my redemption and scheduled me for an appointment in the not-too-distant future. De Beauté salon is easily one of the largest salons I've visited, taking up an entire multi-story building. Parking is easy with an adjoining lot and the first floor essentially functions as a receiving lobby. Here, receptionists will check you in, tell you which floor you're heading toward, and hand you a slip of paper that details the service you're receiving (to give to your service provider). I was paired with Antoine for the Brazilian blowout, and I wish I'd taken before/after pictures because wow, what a change. I'd arrived with frizzy hair that was approximating a Brillo-pad texture and frizz (thanks to a bleach job I'd recently gotten done), but after a short hour and a half in the chair, my tresses had been tamed to a silky smoothness that I hadn't felt on my head for some time. I've since washed my hair a few times, and I'm happy to report that this keratin treatment has staying power. For those sensitive to strong chemicals, note that the formula they use contains formaldehyde. I appreciated that they set up the chair by two strong fans and an open door, but my eyes still watered a bit here and there.

I would just go for a quick eyebrow wax. My pedicure experience was great. I got a basic that included a lovely massage, cuticle removal and callous removal for $17. Most places in this neck of the woods charge considerably more aside from soaking your feet and painting your toes. The ebb and glow is unpredictable but today they were a bit understaffed because everyone that came through the door besides myself was rolling in pairs. There was a lot of stopping in order to tend to everyone else. All the patrons were understanding,... But if you're looking for excellent express service you may want to have a back up plan or consider having lunch next door at BRT because you may encounter a wait. All and all I had a pleasant experience and will return -- they have a $35 special on Brazillian waxes. I plan on taking our relationship to the next level next time. I'll keep you posted! Not only was the customer service horrible (very rude and rushed on everything) but she took it off with a filing tool instead of the proper way, soaking my nails in acetone or placing acetone on cotton balls and wrapping them in foil. (writer's note - I ADORE this company and am an avid customer with great success in the past - please take this as a review of the location, and not the overall company!) First, the girl on the phone who made my appt gave me directions that sent me driving around for 15 minutes trying to find the place. Once there, it was super creepy and noticeable that they were new because all 10 of them were behind the desk to greet me. Then, 'surprise', you don't actually have an appt. Did you make it today? Nope, over a week ago. But don't worry, we'll get you in anyway. Weird, on the phone they said they were booked solid. Then after waiting more, the waxer comes out and actually shakes my hand as she introduces herself. Note to the staff- this is equally as creepy. She is very sweet, but even after I told her that I've been doing this a hundred times, she insists on walking me through every step. Ok, so you're practicing, I get that. Next time though, don't tell me every internal thought you're having. It was extremely clear she hasn't done this before and now I'm anxious I'll be walking out minus more than hair by the time she's done. It took three times as long as I normally take, and all the time I'm hearing her self-talk and I'm praying it'll be over. Here's the icing on the cake - in the middle of this, while I'm butt-ass naked, another woman comes barging in. Is the building on fire? Nope, she just needs to tell my waxer something. When I realize it's not an accident, I said 'you really should warn people before you just come in' and her response was that 'she is the trainer and the fact that she would be coming in whenever she wanted should have been told to me'. Well, shucks, it wasn't. Had it been, I would have run away, and fast. That is not only rude, but embarrassing. Professionals would at least have said sorry, not made an excuse. Flash forward ten minutes and I'm still living in limbo. At one point I realize the room is dirty, with wax pieces all over the floor. Oh lord, help me get out of here! Then we're done, so I said yes, I know what that serum is for, I have it. Wasn't enough, I still got a lecture on how to use it. Finally I'm getting out of there and she looks like she's going to 'rebook' me. No way. I was done. Had this appt not been free in the first place, I would have refused to pay. Perhaps they can work out the kinks and I'll try again in a year or so. Perhaps not.
