I came here the other day with a friend after she recommended I join her for a Groupon facial special. Helene was working on my face and was super knowledgeable and caring with my skin. I had a few burns from a previous acne treatment and she was gentle and suggested great alternatives to correct it. I was super happy with my service. My skin feels more refreshed and clean. Helene did a great job! I will most certainly be returning back here for another facial by her. I was not disappointed and recommend checking her out if you're in the area - even if you're not, it's worth taking the drive as I did myself. Also a huge plus she's so sweet. Only con was I was informed the service would cost me $50. When going up to the desk to pay I was charged $65. Not sure why it went up $15 dollars. Looks like next time I'll have to triple ask before getting into the room for a service. read more

Helene really took the time to evaluate my skin & picked products that wouldn't irritate my sensitive, combination skin. She was extremely communicative & always checked in on me. I've been coming here for a few months for facials and eyebrow shaping / waxing. Cloud 9 isn't just a 'beauty' spa, Helene sincerely cares about the skin care of each and every single one of her clients. Not only does the facial make my skin feel good, but my skin also looks and feels healthy after a few visits. I don't feel like I have to take off my make up and wash my face by lunch time anymore. I never would have thought to get facials instead of wasting time and money on doctor visits and prescription products to get healthy skin until someone recommended I visit Helene. My skin is sensitive to pain and Helene knows how to work with that. She has products for all skin types. Her and her staff always make me feel at ease and comfortable the second I step in the door. As far as my eyebrows go, I started waxing as a young teen. My skin was so sensitive that I would go home in tears and a red face for 2-3 days and would sometimes bleed. I feel a little bad about leaving this review because Helene seemed nice but my experience there was really poor. When I arrived, Helene told me that she had double-booked and asked me to wait. A woman was already in the room receiving a treatment so she moved her across the hall (in a towel) so that she could wax me really quickly. She stayed in the room while I undressed, constantly telling me to hurry up. I had to put my clothing on the table because the other woman's clothes were on the floor! The wax lasted about 10 minutes and hurt terribly. I felt a bit sore on the drive home and realized that I developed dark red, itchy skin in that area. I have been getting waxed for 5 years and never had a problem with sensitivity. The redness and pain lasted 2-3 days. I realize that Helene double-booked and that sort of thing happens, but the professional thing to do would have been to re-book me and do my wax for free. Instead, she tried to cut corners and that's really not a safe thing to do when you're waxing someone's privates. I was hesitant to leave a review but it has been bothering me a big time...We recently moved to WCL and I was looking for a new place for my facial. After reading posted reviews I booked it at cloud 9 and was totally shocked at what I experience. Helen was nice, so as Yelitsa but the place was small, not so neat and messy. Even though I was clear that I would like to have an Anti-aging treatment for $70 at the end I was asked to pay $85.... Apparently I got a face and shoulder massage (5 -7 min) which I didnt ask for. BTW its not my first facial ever and that massage should have been included and not only 7 min. So because I questioned the amount ($85) I was given a discount...lol... and end up paying $80. I did leave $20 tip for Yelitsa and left with a lesson... Dont believe every review. read more

I have been seeing Helene for over a year now and she has been fantastic for me. I consulted with her for help with my persistent acne. She assessed my skin and recommended that I start off with her cleansing facials. I am normally wary and cautious because of my sensitive skin and prior experiences with reactions to facials, but Helene's calm and positive demeanor reassured me. She told me that she would take care of this, but that I had to be patient. I liked her honesty and I decided to give her a try. A year later, my skin has completely cleared up thanks for a dual care regimen of Helene's facials and an electrolysis treatment. I have never had a reaction to any of the products she uses, which is a direct opposite of many of my earlier facial experiences. I purchased a Groupon for a facial with Helene. I had been recommended by someone to see her for a facial. The spa is located in a hair salon called Amadam. Helene is very friendly, down-to-earth and warm. The spa itself is a no fuss, no frills type of place -- she uses Dermalogica products. I think if you have fairly sensitive skin, just warn her in advance because the Dermalogica products can be very strong. However, the results are amazing -- Helene is very thorough with her extractions and upon leaving her spa, my skin's condition has improved. I have to say her extractions are much less painful than other places I have been to, and she really does make a conscious effort to get everything out of your face versus leaving bits and pieces to harpoon you in for additional treatments or to push products on you. She's got a great temperament. I appreciate her facials although she does leave you to steam and leaves the room, you don't feel pressured to talk to her during the entire process like in some spas where the estheticians can be extremely chatty whilst you're getting your treatment. Compared to other places, this isn't an establishment you'd go to for the ambience but if you're going to get honest results - this is definitely the place for you. I would recommend this establishment if you have acne prone skin or problematic skin because you'll definitely see results. read more

I've been coming to Helene for a while now, and am more than satisfied. I'd been dealing with hair/skin issues that a doctor of mine said I'd need to be on long-term antibiotics or receive laser hair removal treatments to fix. I was getting waxed by Helene for a while which helped compared to shaving, but then tried her laser hair removal which is helping my skin an unbelievable amount.
