Sat there until 10:30 when I finally had the nerve to knock. Owner comes out and says I will have to wait while she finishes up with another client. Owner/esthetician then tells me how Groupon isn't worth her time, and she was "doing me a favor" by squeezing me in, and that the microdermabrasion and facial that I paid for would only be for 30 minutes. Why sell your services to Groupon and then treat your Groupon customers like second class citizens!? If the service was good, she would have earned a repeat customer. No need to take off your shirt, she says. What!? She had no intention of even touching my neck or shoulders, as is done in standard facials! Said it would be super fast and shirt won't get wet. Esthetician kept encouraging me to leave and get my money back from Groupon! Then refused the service. I have had many facials and massages in my lifetime, but I have never dealt with someone more rude and unprofessional in this line of work, ever! No regard for my time spent driving there and waiting---for nothing. Do yourself a favor-don't waste your time and money with this unprofessional, uncaring place!! As I approached my 40's i knew it was time to start preventative aging treatments which included photo rejuvenation, lasers, some Botox and of course medical grade facials on a bi monthly basis. Although all these treatments all worked like a charm I of course was ready for just a little more after three years of the same treatments. After doing some internet research along with talking to friends, i discovered the miracle of the Ultherapy treatment. After seeing my friends results along with the rave reviews throughout social media and internet I knew it was something I wanted to try. The only downfall here was that everyone had always said how painful the treatment can be. Not afraid of pain, I wasn't too concerned and went ahead with my first treatment. All I can say is it was far from an easy and comfortable procedure as I had refused any numbing cream or other medications that would have made the procedure easier to endure. I overestimated my pain threshold and was NOT looking foward to treatment number two within the next few months. After voicing my concerns to Dr. Roche she immediately assured me that The next treatment will be much easier if I simply don't refuse the pain management options she provides. Skip to treatment number two which i was reluctantly looking foward to . This time I said, OK give me my options. Dr. Roche and the staff immediately knew what I needed. After some topical numbing cream, a Valium to relax me during the procedure ( and only if I had someone to pick me up after the procedure was completed ), and dental block injections which numbed the areas being treated I was ready to endure. Needless to say, I found my second Ultherapy treatment to be the most pleasant, pain free treatments I have received to date. I had an audiobook on for the next hour and was happy for her to do even the most difficult area which is neck for most people. For anyone considering this treatment but are reluctant due to the fear of pain it may cause I would HIGHLY recommend getting the procedure done with Dr. Roche. Ultherapy has amazing results and if you are able to endure it especially with minimal to no pain then go directly to the Elizabeth Roche Med Spa. I can absolutely attest to the effectiveness of all the treatments I have received as well as the exceptional professional staff and office enviornment that is maintained. Maintaining our beauty and youth is already a continuous process ... Why make it more difficult then it has to be. ;) ... The whole experience took less than 30 minutes. She does such a good job that I would never go to anyone else. I've been going to Fernanda off and on for years. Again, she does such a great job that I can go pretty long periods between waxes. I've also had facials by Fernanda and her facials completely cleared up my dried up skin. Day of arrival we parked on the street (at a meter), not knowing the business has a parking lot behind the building for customers (manicurist shared with us during appt). That might have been worth mentioning Ms. Receptionist. The space looks small from the outside but inside is very spacious but dated; the Manicure Room is cute, but could use some updates as well. The nail color selection is limited and flat (none of the new stuff). The manicurist were great - took their time and polished well. Upon check out I presented both cards, one for my mom to use and one for myself. The reception said they didn't take Spa Week, I told her when I called the receptionist said they did. Whatevs, but I know what I was told. On my second visit (2 weeks later), I booked a mani and pedi, but the manicurist I booked with was no longer employed there, so I was very surprised because I wasn't notified. The new girl was good too, so I was satisfied, but normally a call with the option to keep or cancel appointment is my practice. The business sends frequent email blasts that let you know about specials and pricing, which the prices have spiked, as of April. A regular manicure will now cost $30, color gel mani $55, basic pedi $55. These new prices will determine the frequency of my visits.

Poor communication and delays: It took me over 5 months to schedule a filler appointment last year because the manager, Mai, did not respond to my repeated emails (attached). I only got a response once I called the office, and even then, it felt like I was chasing them just to give them my business. 2. Inconsistent and misleading pricing: I was originally quoted $575 for under-eye filler in writing (attached) but was later charged $700 for the same service. This inconsistency in pricing is unacceptable, especially when it is clearly documented in their own emails. 3. Clinic-to-clinic confusion - I was quoted $1,500 for 2 syringes of PDGF in Park Ridge ($3,000 for 4), but later told by Millburn staff that their baseline price was actually $1,800 for 2 syringes. Most importantly, when I specifically asked Park Ridge if the 20% off promo at Millburn would apply to the same service and was told yes, no one told me that Millburn's pricing was higher. That critical detail should have been mentioned upfront so I could make an informed decision. Overall, between the lack of responsiveness, the long wait just to schedule, and the bait-and-switch style pricing, I cannot recommend SkinSpirit. Patients deserve transparency, consistency, and respect for their time, none of which I experienced here.
