For something that can be a little nerve-wracking the first time, she made it feel easy and welcoming. I came in for facial hair removal as part of a gender-affirming process, and she handled everything with complete professionalism and kindness. She was knowledgeable, respectful, and made me feel completely at ease. What really stood out, though, was her integrity. After our session she mentioned that there are practitioners who specialize very heavily in the specific type of electrolysis I'm looking for, and she even followed up the next day with a referral to someone who has a lot of experience in that work. It would have been very easy to simply keep booking appointments, but instead she clearly wanted me to have the best possible outcome. That level of honesty and care for her clients really impressed me. I would absolutely recommend Dianne to anyone looking for a skilled, thoughtful, and genuinely ethical electrologist. I had my first ever microdermabrasion facial with Stephanie. I actually requested an extraction to go along with my facial, but Stephanie took a look at my skin, insightfully told me about the root of my problems, and recommended a high frequency treatment instead. The high frequency is a laser that targets your problem areas, shrinks pores, and preserves your youthful appearance. The procedure wasn't painful at all! Both the microdermabrasion and high frequency were tingly sensations that didn't last that long. Stephanie goes through the treatment slowly and deliberately, just like an expert. After my facial, Stephanie left me with some words of advice and a sample of coconut oil to help soothe any redness. I went to this spa for a medical issue requiring Botox. When I called in the receptionist…read moreexplained the doctor was not accepting new patients but that I could make an appointment with their nurse. I was hesitant, so she explained that she's been doing this for 17 years implying she really can do whatever a doctor can. To make a long story short... when I went in the nurse explained that any Botox around the eye causes drooping. I told her I didn't want it 'around' the eye, just near the eyebrows to deal with involuntary eyebrow movement and that I would defer to her where to put the Botox, as long as I get the results. Well, she put only a tiny amount near the 11 lines, which had absolutely no effect on the brows.... So I decided to check out some videos to see where the injections are normally placed. I went back a second time and told the nurse where I saw the injections need to be placed and she told me, that she could only place it higher up... after several questions and some confusion, she finally admitted that the procedure I needed (close to the eyebrow) can only be done by a doctor and that she was not qualified!! Why did she not tell me this in the first place? We had discussed some upper lip lines as well and the second time there she told me she could do those.... same story... she place the injections on the lip line proper... with no effect other than to turn my lip purple.... when I looked online to see videos the injections are normally placed much higher up on the lip. What is up with this place???? Extreme underhanded.
