(this is the first time Ive ever posted a review, anywhere!)…read more My issue is not with the treatment-it was just ok. I would not recommend the Doctor, but I will not dis him either. My beef is with the billing department. I was billed an additional $40 copay over and above the $35 I paid at the time of service. Despite about three or four phone calls to AD to deal with the overcharge (I first confirmed with my insurance company that it was, indeed, not a valid charge) I continue to get monthly bills. If I want to talk to a human I must submit to the "phone tree" and hold and, in the end, to no effect. The paper bills and threats to send me to collection continue to appear in the mail box. I would bet my credit score is better than anyone in that doctor's office-including the doctor :^) and I don't appreciate being harassed with these bills.

She then refused to see me anymore when my insurance changed to Medicare & suggested I see a colleague. That dermatologist said it was a concern & without a biopsy prescribed 5FU cream. The next dermatologist took a biopsy & it was Squamous cell carcinoma, which is very dangerous because it can spread to anywhere else in the body. Dr Klar is a fraud!!!

i went for an annual skin cancer screening a little over a week ago. A skin cancer screening is…read moresupposed to take at least 10 minutes and most of the time a lot longer. My regular dermatologist routinely checks all areas of my skin, inch by inch while wearing a light/magnifying apparatus on her head. She checks my entire body including scalp, ears, fingers, between toes, etc. My regular dermatologist also gives me time for any areas of concern. Dr. Yalowitz was very casual and dismissive in her 5 minutes (at most) skin cancer screening telling me "you're good" without examining 75% of my body. I now have to wait until February 2024 for my "annual" cancer screening with my regular dermatologist because I can't trust the diagnosis Dr. Yalowitz's made without checking most areas of my body. This is extremely disappointing and possibly dangerous.

For some reason this place doesn't offer patient online registration thus saving the time of filling out the paperwork, never the less i prevail on. Her lounge/sitting area isn't the best of decor Ive seen for an office, which was kinda lame but that's my personal choice has nothing to reflect on her on duty as an MD. So I'm sitting there in these uncomfortable chairs that are closely packed side by side as if I'm in a platoon awaiting for some stumper mission to be handed down upon me, I am called to see Dr. Cestero. Kind & endearing women, but her english need work lol. Her first language is spanish so I was little off being that mi espanol es no bueno & no me praticar (and i dont practice) for the english speakers. So she is observing my condition & and mentions a reason for why it could have occured but the language barrier was difficult to overcome. Now for everyone who was spanish speaking (which was everyone) I clearly saw they were comfortable with her & that's great. Overall she was able to address my concern & her bedside manner was courteous for our language barrier but i would have liked to have asked more questions. All in all she diagnosed my condition on spot & its healing rather quickly, so kudos to Dr. Cestero!
