It's a super small nail salon. Only 3 nail tables 2 pedicure chairs and 1 drying station. All the gel colors are in a plastic bin behind the nail desk. Nails came out okay, could have been better. $25 gel manicure. Manicure part was good but the gel application and finish wasn't that great.

This was my first time visiting this nail salon, and it was an overall good experience. The pricing is very competitive (cheap), so I will definitely be back. Nancy did my nails herself and she had some great recommendations. I did not feel as though she was just trying to rack up my bill. The final product was simple and elegant, not the best work in the whole world, but for the price, it was pretty good. I went on a Thursday, and I had to wait almost 1.5 to 2 hr to be attended to. They do not take appointments on the weekdays. So don't come here if you're on a time crunch.

DON'T DO IT. Anywhere but here. This place puts the "H" in GHETTO. We walked in the door for mani-pedis and the technician/(mgr?) at the front was too busy texting to even look up when he spoke to us. They have so few nail color options - especially in any decent brands - that we really had to get creative about what color to choose. And they really acted as if they were allergic to credit cards for any sort of payment. So I paid cash. The technician who helped me nicked my toe and just shrugged it off. She somehow smudged one of my fingers, which bore a fingerprint imprint. I only noticed when I sat down at the dryer. She did immediately offer to fix it but even thought the salon was empty, she didn't bother to use a base coat and instead put the dark color directly onto the nail. When I was done my technician literally refused to even help me get my socks and shoes back on. When I asked for some sort of plastic to cover my toes she acted as if she had never heard of such a thing - "plastic" that is. When her co-worker explained it to her she brought me the packaging that a pair of plastic flip-flops had come in. Then she sat down at her station, folded her arms and did nothing. She just watched me nearly ruin my manicure as I put on my own plastic cover, socks & shoes & rolled down my pants leg. I had given her a 30% tip and reminded her of that. She just looked the other way and ignored me. No other customer was in front of her. It was simply a "screw you, sucker for giving me that much money in advance. I don't owe you a damn thing." Amazing. even her co-worker looked surprised at how brazenly rude this chick was. The only thing postive thing I can say is that the "texting guy" has a great sense of humor. That is all. I knew I wasn't at Bliss. But really? Please do not patronize this place. You MUST have other options somewhere.

I've only been here twice and I'm very happy with my nails it was exactly what I wanted. Got my eyelashes done too they are very natural looking. Staff were nice and chatty.

This place was awesome! The nail technicians were very friendly and helpful. I have been going here for years and have never had a problem. They always update on the new styles. Their eyelash extensions are extremely awesome also, they last a very long time. So does their nail polish (mostly Essie), which is high quality and all gorgeous. Despite it being a small place, the environment, technicians, and overall experience you will have is great. Yes they do take credit cards, very helpful, and magnificently talented. It is worth everything. I always come back to treat myself here and recommend this place to all of my friends and family. Danny is hilarious and Nancy is very talented. They always make me feel welcomed. I never had any problems here. Totally recommend. Nancy also has an instagram: ngocq - You can go there to check out her work. Really bad service, young girl didn't even say hi nothing just you know what color you want I mean i don't need a whole convo but at least a hi! Have a seat. Never going back first time doing my nails in the Bronx but defenetly looking for another place. They did such a terrible job. I made them fix it and it was an even more waste of my time. I left so annoyed. If I could give zero stars I would. The gel started peeling off my toes the same day. They are so rude they do not care about their customers. Do not recommend this place at all. read more

I have been visiting Nancy nails for over 15 years!! She services all my beauty needs as her menu is very diverse. As for designs Nancy can free hand or I show her a photo and she makes the design come to life with her own signature touch! Beautiful service and worth more then she charges. read more

Do your self a favor and go else where in the Bronx for cheaper. Second time here and I wanted a pretty simple design with tips. She couldn't do it so I told her to keep it plain. I noticed one nail was crooked and it was pretty sloppy. I asked politely about the crooked nail and she insisted that my finger was crooked LOL. Like what?? Anyway, she fixed it but wasn't happy about it. Then I asked her multiple times if she was going to clean up my fingers so it can look neat. She snapped at me and said "why do you keep asking me?! I'm gonna do it!" I bit my tongue and said OK. At the end, she didn't even clean it *face palm* I told her to take the whole color off I'll just do it at home. When she took it off, I noticed that she didn't use the right size fake nail for my fingers. So now I'm gonna have to re do them. Sigh. These reviews are misleading. Seriously I know its cheap and you get what you pay for but there are places that does better. I've been to a lot of nails salons in NYC. This was by far the worst. Oh yeah and the owner did my nails. What a shame. read more

I was really hoping to find a good nail place. Since being injured at a nail salon years ago, I've rarely gotten my nails done. Since this salon had such good reviews I decided to give it a try. I don't know if it was because it was the Friday before Easter or bc it was later in the day, but my nails came out terrible. I was charged $25 for a full set ($5 more than their listed price, for coffin shape I guess). The tips are badly fitted, with the sides of my natural nail exposed. I showed a picture for ombre nails, brown fading to natural. Tried to show me mood changing polishes (don't know if that costs more). But I just wanted a simple fade, girls do it all the time on Instagram. After picking the color, she's good on to tell me she can't do ombre...... Really??? By this time it's already 8:30 and I just want to go home. She painted the nails and I'm set. I end up taking the nail polish off when I get home, to find that one of the tips was lifted in the middle. So all in all, nothing special. Maybe they take care of their regulars better, they both seemed friendly enough as people. But I won't be back. It's only 3 days later and I want these nails off. read more

I been going here since 2005 and nothing very bad to say very friendly owners(Nancy owner and her brother Danny) if your personality is dry then you won't understand Danny's personality he's very silly but can also be serious as well if he sense you're not a talker serious just want your nails done type person as for Nancy she works with you to get the type of design you have in mind together okay so not everything she has of latest nail stuff but if you tell her about it she'll buy it or purchase yourself and bring it to her she'll figure out how to do it YouTube also your best friend she does decent 3d designs as well I never got fungus or some infection whatever it isn't a luxury spa type salon but it'll do they clean the pedicure tub and sanitize the tools and if you unsure about the tools being sanitized you can buy your own pedicure set from her and just bring every time you get a pedicure I only wished she did Jelly Pedicures but you never what the future holds...Also she changed her instagram name from Ngocq to nancysdesignnails read more
