We were given Ron's contact information from a mutual friend after receiving numerous quotes to build a pool in our backyard. As soon as we met Ron, we knew he was the contractor for us. He was very detailed and knowledgeable. He made us feel at ease and gave us a realistic timeframe of the pool buildout. We signed our quote and he got to work! His entire crew was extremely professional, organized and clean! They made sure the job site was cleaned up and organized daily! Ron was always available to get on a call with us and would always show up for our inspections! He was always several steps ahead of us and our pool was done in less than 2 months! We cannot thank the CID Crew enough for all their hard work! Definitely recommend CID Builders for all your contractor needs!

The company resurfaced and repaired my mom's pool. Here is her review of the work and the company. "My pool had been empty over a year. It was put in in '58 and I was told that the pipes had to be replaced along with the plaster. I had several quotes and decided to go with Ron because he seemed very straight forward and he would be able to set up a loan for me. I signed the agreement with him and the next day his plaster removal crew arrived. 4 hours later they were finished. The next day another crew arrived to take out all the old flagstone around the pool and they were done within hours. The next day a couple of guys arrived to dig trenches and install new piping which took a couple of days. Then the inspection, putting in new concrete around the pool, and another inspection followed by replastering and filling the pool. The whole process was very easy and efficient. Ron and his onsite supervisor, Hector, explained everything to me so clearly. As I sit out by the pool each night now, I think about my husband, who recently passed away. He loved to swim and would be so grateful to Ron for giving us such a beautiful pool."

Tile and replastering completed, filling up the pool.

Ron came out and gave me an estimate to replace the tile around the pool and jacuzzi, as well as replastering the pool and jacuzzi. Ron provided a very competitive bid for all of the work and we went with CID builders for the job. Ron suggested two tiles stores in the valley to select tiles from which had an abundance of selections for us to choose from. About two weeks later and even dodging a few rain days, the split drains were added, the tile install and replastering was completed on time for the exact amount of Ron's estimate. During the tile and replastering timeframe, my weekly pool maintenance person mentioned the pump and control valves should be changed, and Ron was able to complete all of that work as well within the two weeks the pool was empty. Ron never tried to upsell me or increase his overall job cost without me asking for the additional work. Honest businessmen seem to be rare these days, but I found a good one. Thanks for the great work.

We are very happy with the work done by CID. A huge shout out to our project manager, Ben D. He worked closely with my husband who planned to do the finishing details. This was a big project with lots of moving parts! Two additions to our existing home, new bathroom, laundry room, fireplace, electrical/plumbing, new roof, new AC and Pool/spa with paved patio! I am so happy to be in our forever home!!

    Blown off for months.

I strongly recommend avoiding these people. I hired them to replaster my pool. They did the pool the wrong color and refused to make it right. After they finished the work I discovered a leak in the pool. They tried to convince me that the leak was not their fault. After a long battle I finally got them to dig up and find the leak. They then left the entire area dug up and exposed without finishing the job for the past six months. They keep saying that they are going to take care of it but it has been 6 months and I still have a huge hole in the ground next to my pool. I strongly recommend avoiding these people and finding someone else for whatever work you might need done. They do not stand behind their work.

To say we are happy with experience we had with CID is an understatement. They Redid Our Entire Bathroom. I found them through reviews online as well and I feel the need to pay it forward to someone who is looking for a fantastic contractor. When these guys take care of you, they take care of you like family. This is no slogan or gimmick. We were treated as if our dad was the contractor and everything we needed was put at the top of the priority list. Ron started the process, and let me tell you, this guy LOVES HIS JOB! So much so I think his poor family may never see him. You can tell this stuff excites him and it is infectious. Not only was he there holding our hands through the entire process, I may have texted his cell phone a few too many times late at night on the weekends asking questions as I thought of them, and he answered....every time!! Ask for Ron as a project manager and you will not be disappointed! But just like Ron, every person in this company we dealt with was just as amazing. Ron aims to please. He will literally go out of his way to make the customer happy, not to mention he is a fun, jovial guy to be around, which is hard to find in this type of business. Aaron did the flooring work....REQUEST HIM!! He is an artist and perfectionist. My OCD could not find one mistake in his work in the bathroom. Alex coordinates from the office and she holds down the fort somehow, I do not know how. She is always sweet, attentive, organized and on it. Carlos made the mess of the demolition so much easier. He made sure everything was covered at all times (completely, not just thrown together to look good), and even re covered and re taped after I took things down daily (I am sure he wasn't pleased about that!) All of these people worked around our family as we lived through this madness. They worked around baby nap schedules, barking dogs at their ankles and kids a little too interested in what they were doing. All with patience and kindness (something really important when you are pretty much living with these guys for 6 weeks.) They finished on time (what?) and threw in so many extras I can't even remember them all. I will definitely be using them again.

Ron and his crew are my top choice for contractors. This is a recent roof repair from a tree that fell from the neighbor's yard onto my ADU. Ron had his crew over and replaced the damaged tiles. They also surveyed the entire roof for leaks or other damage. Then they sealed up all of the flashings as a courtesy. I will use them for some plumbing and electrical projects next. Thank you CID!!

    Pool

I used Ron and CID to build a pool and install decking. Ron was super friendly and gave the best price. Unlike others he was upfront about costs. For example he included concrete coping and heating for the pool where others had it as an additional add on. He was accurate with the timeframe and his workers were great. Ron also has an excellent eye for design. The pool looks amazing and I am so happy I chose them. I highly recommend!

I accepted an $800 discount on a $13,500 job to make up for poor work! Beams aren't level, pavers aren't set properly, sloppy cement ...

Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Our project manager Tamir was exceptional -- responsive, organized, and clearly invested in the quality of the work. He kept the job moving at a surprisingly fast pace and promptly resolved issues as they arose. Pricing was competitive -- we got multiple estimates and Way To Go came in reasonable without cutting corners. You can see it in the finish quality: the stonework is clean, the tile on the curved bench is precise, and the side yard pathway turned out better than we imagined. Our pool cleaner gave high praise on the resurfacing work when he arrived for the first cleaning! Highly recommend for anyone looking to transform their outdoor space -- quality work, fair pricing, and a timeline that'll surprise you.

The remodel included changing the old plaster to mini pebble, installing new tile, adding a new LED pool light, and doing the deco seal around the pool. The finish came out great and it completely refreshed the look of the pool. Once all the materials were ordered and ready, the actual work was completed in about a week, which I was really happy about. Tamir kept everything organized and the crew stayed on schedule. I also appreciated that he was able to accommodate a couple of last-minute additions I requested during the project and made sure everything was taken care of. The crew did solid work and the pool looks great now. I'm happy with how everything turned out and would recommend Way To Go Builders if you're planning a pool remodel.

Later, "Jacob" called me back later and expressed condescending concern that I had ONLY a $150K budget. I told him that's where the budget starts, not ends and asked him what the true cost was. He responded back that it's between $300 and $450 a square foot. So I told him, "Okay, if my calculations are correct, if I go with $350 a square foot so I'm not at the rock bottom, and I multiply that by 600 sq ft for a small ADU, that is roughly $210K for a price starting point with your company?" "Well no it's not exactly... "Then what did I miss?" "Well there's all sorts of other things blah blah blah..." Overall the tone was condescending and he made it clear that I didn't know what I was talking about, when in fact I have 15 years experience as a home designer that designs and budgets facelifts on houses that are about to go up for sale. I have dealt with contractors for many, many years. Eventually I got fed up with his tone and told him to cancel the appointment. He is incredibly talented... We honestly feel lucky we got to experience how he does business. He has set the bar so high that it's going to be hard to work with anyone else now. What made him different? Clear, consistent communication: Every evening, he gave us a recap of what was done that day and what to expect the following day and for the rest of the week. Updates during the day: He kept us in the loop while he was working (for example, letting us know when he was heading to Home Depot and when he expected to be back to finish a task). He's also just a genuinely kind and honest person. We had originally requested something very specific in our bathroom, and the tile crew made a small mistake. Gary caught it, called us that night to explain, and told us he would have his team redo it so it matched what we agreed on in our initial meeting....without us even asking. That level of integrity and pride in his work is rare. He remodeled our bathroom and bedroom, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Gary is now our go-to for anything construction-related. It's strange some contractors were eager to come to our house to do inspection, but after that they either never contact us again or we had to call them for an estimate. The whole project took about 6 days, but the actual work only took 3 days. The extra 3 days were due to the delay in applying the permit and waiting for city inspector to be onsite. The delay was our fault because we decided to apply the permit a little bit late (and Killer Contractors had no problem with us applying the permit right before the work started). The working crew members are also very professional and friendly. They worked very hard, and they did their best to not distract us.
