We had a big project planned: a kitchen remodel, new driveway, and a deck. After interviewing several contractors we chose ERG because Liav listened to what we wanted, was clear about cost, and didn't pressure us to make a rushed decision. The work was done well and when there were the inevitable hiccups, Liav and his team were very responsive and resolved every issue. When we ran into a problem with mold (unrelated to the original project), the ERG team was right with us, helping with the insurance company and doing the restoration beautifully. We are so pleased with our wonderful new kitchen, the driveway is amazing, and the deck is all we hoped it would be. We definitely made the right choice with ERG. read more

A 3 month remodeling took longer than the projected time. A word of advice if you use them write down in the contract that the company reimburse you if they go over the set time. Also I did not have the elite team working on this job. I literally had 1 person doing most of the work alone. Never again will I use this company and they also lost on future business with my family who works with real estate and also a bigger project for my sister. After my 90 yo mom took a fall and broke her ankle, it wasn't clear she would ever walk again. When the cast came off, she was determined to get back to her own home, but we were advised her bathroom wasn't safe due to the risk of stepping into her bathtub. Once we decided we needed a contractor to change her tub to a walk-in shower, we ran into the stress of searching for a trustworthy contractor who would make sure the quality of the work included details about senior safety, but who would also help navigate the city permit system to get her home ready on time. ERG distinguished themselves by not only including the right workmanship to insure a leak-free shower pan, but gave us good advice on the details of the design for her safety and comfort. They worked hard once the permits came to make sure she would not have to wait to come home. This review has been a long time coming. This company subs majority of the work to the lowest bidder and quality is not a concern. The main approach to this company is to find the lowest bidder no matter what the quality is and then try to charge as if it's all been done by licensed people. Elite remodeling has a contractor's license but the flood of different subcontractors that come I am uncertain of. Juan who did some of our tiles who appears to work for them directly did good work but the rest of the work including cabinets, countertops, fixture installation is subbed and quality is completely unpredictable and multiple revisions are frequently needed. I will never use them again or refer to my friends or family. Here are examples with pictures of the most glaring errors and there are more: Company built an island which is not completely leveled the water flows off the countertop because it is angled downward slightly so all water slowly flows down to the floor. The prior wood flooring in my house had to be leveled and due to taking out a wall some of the wood flooring was removed the replacement was done so cheaply that the level being uneven began to fall apart. With our cabinets, we had them do our kitchen cabinets and took 2 or 3 different sub contractor and pleading to fill the old hinge holes with putty from where the old hinge holes are showing which they did eventually fix but not all of them and after so much back and forth and threats to raise the costs. You can still see the holes from the old hinges in some of the cabinets. They tried to putty a hole in the master bedroom bathroom tiling and made an error when attempting to install the freestanding telephone faucet. I have attached pictures of their work. They are not transparent and make every attempt to squeeze every dollar out of the customer. For example, when they did demo work on my old kitchen sink cabinet and shower I was told that I had mold and Jacob tried to use high pressure sales to scare me into paying thousands of dollars for mold removal which I declined. I do not recommend doing business with this company. This is in response to Liav's response: The time of when I leave my review is not an issue I left a review after I wanted to let your customers know after a contractor asked me who did this work and left such bad errors and I felt it was my duty to share my story. Also instead of apologizing you are trying to blame me. Any time a correction is mentioned your staff would consistently becomes defensive and tells me it's going to cost more money and then eventually your staff would sub work to incompetent people who still don't finish the job. Also nobody has tried calling me about this job and has asked me anything in follow up please do not be dishonest. Please have some morals and change your business practices. read more

BUYER BEWARE-use at your own risk! After a number of strong discussions on how the work would continue to process according to the contract, (they worked very hard at trying to get out of doing what was stated in the contract), and after correcting to potentially costly errors (caught by me) The work has been completed as I designed it with the finishing touches done very nicely. However, after watching the way ingredients were mixed to produce the concrete used it would be very difficult to verify the psi level of the concrete used! Time will tell. I believe those two errors would have been avoided had the worker been given better instructions and or better supervision. Conclusion-- I suggest that you know as much if not more about your project before you enter into a contract with these people so you can be sure ALL the DETAILS are spelled out in the contract and then place close attention to what they are doing and how they are doing it. ............ Their response is not true as I have had all too many "discussions" with them over the course of this project! read more

I was told I would have a estimate within 24 hours then was completely ghosted by the company. I had my initial walk-through on a Thursday, then I tried calling the company Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and each time was told I would hear back from my project manager within 20 minutes and never received a call or a follow up. read more

I had an electrical fire in my living room on April 8th, 2018. Because I was home and smelled the electrical smell, I went looking for the source and found the towering inferno as the surge protector had shorted and set the floor to ceiling curtains on fire. With help from my neighbor and the prompt appearance of the LAFD, the serious damage was relatively small yet significant. My claims adjuster went thru the house and by what he was telling me he wanted done and I had worked in physical plant management, I said to him "You do realize that if I do everything you are asking for that it's going to cost up to $30K, right?" According to their stupid software $7800 should repair the ceiling, walls, and flooring from the dining area, living room, entryway, family room/office, and hallway to the bedrooms, plus buying new furnishing and TV. I spent 3 months trying to find a contractor. I even asked the adjuster for help and he had none to give. So, as I was closing in on a surgery date of July 30th, I made one more call for contractors and the first to respond an appear right away was Elite Remodeling Group. Ron came on July 5th and took a look, gave me an estimate that I considered very reasonable, so I signed the contract and they began demo the very next day. Worked went of from July 6th to July 20th. On the following Friday, the ServePro people who packed my life up and stored in a pod on my driveway for over 3 months came and unloaded everything back into the house and in the rooms they belong. I had my neurosurgery on my spine on July 30th, was discharged on August 1, and had a visit from my Project Manager on August 2nd. In all of this, I had mentioned that my central air had been off line since September 2015 despite spending $1400 trying to fix it. My PM brought in his own HVAC specialist that was able to fix it and I am enjoying it so much in my recovery during our hot summer. I cannot recommend ERG enough whether it is for disaster recovery or a standard remodeling. They are AAA+++ in my book! read more

3 months ago my 80 yo mom was coming tovisit us - she was recovering from hip surgery and had mobility issues. We had planned when we bought our house to remodel the first floor bath to change a tub into a shower but 2 years later we still hadn't got around to it - now there was some urgency to complete it. We searched recommended contractors and interviewed the elite remodeling group. (ERG)They were enthusiastic, imaginative and promised they could complete the project in my 1 month window. Sage was our project manager and he was amazing - very attentive and on top of every detail. His team was very courteous and meticulous in their work. They met our time line and it turned out beautiful!! As we watched their work we decided to ask about another project we had been contemplating in our kitchen. They engaged their 3D design team and created images which brought the whole project to life. The imaging gave me the confidence in design plan and we decided to jump in. On this job we repurposed rather than replace most of the cabinetry and lighting . It was great to have a team who was willing to actually support that. In a month from first visit both projects were completed / just time for my mothers arrival! My kitchen remodel is stunning - it has totally changed the look and function of my space. The project took 2 months over all with mold remediation and some plumbing issues but the bathrooms came out beautifully!!! This is an assessment of our experience and hope that ERG will use this as an opportunity to improve their business practices. ERG was hired for our kitchen project, which included painting existing cabinets, installing quartz countertops, glass mosaic tile backsplash, a farmhouse sink, gas cooktop, and electric wall oven. On a positive note, ERG's price was very competitive and the quality was very good. On the other hand, the project took 6 weeks compared to the original 2-3 week estimate due to poor management and communications. The following are the types of issues we dealt with throughout the project. We had to initiate the majority of calls and follow-ups regarding schedule and work status. ERG's subcontractors did not show up twice for scheduled appointments, nor call, and the management team continued to make excuses rather than just apologize, correct the behavior, and prevent it from happening again. Once, when my wife called to complain, a supervisor used inappropriate, sexist language (e.g. referring to her as "honey" or "sweetie") and she was told "that's the way it is in business". This type of treatment was extremely unprofessional and should not be tolerated. We were not originally informed that the new sink would need to be on-site prior to painting the cabinet frames, which lead to the initial demolition being completed earlier than required and we lost use of the kitchen for an additional week. Later on, we were told the cabinet doors were "still not dry" two weeks after being told they were finished. When the cabinet team came to install the doors, they did not bring the new hinges because the management team failed to include it in their work orders. We also had to ask for a sample of the quartz countertop on 3-4 occasions, which caused another week's delay. The backsplash installer did not bring any grout or the metal edging on the day of our appointment and we subsequently learned the sample we selected (choices provided by the field supervisor) was discontinued. Finally, some tile was cut using the wrong blade, leaving edges where the color was removed and it took several days and visits to correct the situation. In conclusion, a fairly simple project was anything but simple and ERG did not live up to their Elite name. Although we have future home improvement projects, we will look elsewhere for a better overall experience. read more

As soon as we finalized our design they started working immediately the next day, and their crews were great - they tarped and masked areas to keep dust down, they were fast and efficient, and they cleaned each day. We hired Elite Remodel Group in November of 2019. The initial contact went well and the project manage, Sage (his real name is Sagi) was a tad arrogant, but very pleasant. He told me that the best way to do the job was to pay for the 3D imaging and then we could see every detail and know exactly what was going to be done. We agreed to have our bathroom remodeled and our patio enclosed. We were told, in writing, that the job would be done in 30 days. We also discussed future projects we desired to have done; a kitchen remodel and a guesthouse. The project manager saw dollar signs and went ahead and did an estimate for both jobs with the hopes of starting work immediately. I was very clear that the kitchen and bathroom had to be done by Christmas or be started after the holiday season. I was told "no problem, it will be close, but it will not be a problem." We agreed to the terms and the demolition crew began; the demolition crew was right on time. This is a good sign, nope. We now had six weeks to Christmas with one bathroom torn up and the kitchen torn out. We were told what we perceive to be many lies during the course of our remodel. We were told that our project manager would be there, every single day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Nope. This did not happen. We were told that crews were going to show up. Sometimes they did and sometimes they didn't. We were told not to contact our project manager on Saturdays as that was his sabbath, even when promised crews did not show up. We were promised that the two jobs would work independently of each other to ensure a timely finish. Again, this was not our request but their promise to get us to sign on the dotted line and pay our deposit. Throughout the project, especially after the deadline for the completion of the bathroom had passed without being complete we were told it was our fault for asking that they both be done at the same time. That the company policy was only one crew at a time. We were told nobody forced us to agree to have the jobs done. We were told that it was all our fault. The kitchen was not measured properly, even though the refrigerator was there the entire time, the space was too small to accommodate our refrigerator. We were told,"this is the new trend, leaving one wall out." We started to learn that every mistake made by Elite Remodeling Group happened to coincide with the latest trend. We also noticed that the only thing that ever showed up on a deadline was a demolition crew and the person scheduled to pick up our payments. The job was finished on December 24th, 2019, sort of. They left with a list of Post Christmas work that needed to be done and went home. I turned on the stove the evening of December 24th and nothing happened; no gas. I called Sage, our project manager, and was asked,"what are you going to be cooking right now?" Gee, Sage, why else would I turn on the stove. It turns out that they forgot to turn on a valve so we had to bring a plumber out Christmas day. We finally fired Sage as our project manager and cancelled the patio enclosure. The job they insisted would be done independently of the kitchen was never started citing as their reason that the job was too big to finish in time. We canceled the guest house as we began to see the quality of the work that had been done by Elite Remodeling Group. They refused to provide us a punch list of things that they saw that needed to be repaired citing as their reason that,"we would just keep coming up with things for them to fix and if we didn't find it, they wouldn't have to fix it." Now, 4 months after we parted ways with Elite Remodel Group, the kitchen tiles are coming up and we are in the middle of the COVID 19 lock down. We gave Elite Remodel Group proper notice so they could remedy the situation. we asked for reasonable accommodations while we had workers in the house, mainly a hotel room with a kitchen to stay for the three days the work was going to be done and a sanitizing crew to clean up afterward. In typical Elite Remodel Group fashion, they turned it around on us and informed me that the reason the tiles came up was that our foundation was bad and there had been a mild earthquake, but they were happy to fix the tile. They saw my foundation was bad and chose not to say a word? Or was that their latest excuse? Still, the counters on with side of the stove don't line up with the stove. There are no gaps at the bottom and gaps, on both sides, at the top. Our bathroom linen closet doesn't go all the way to the ceiling (again, our fault). The bathroom counter didn't line up (again, our fault). We were told in reference to our patio enclosure that this would not interfere with the other jobs as all of the pieces would be built in their warehouse and installed over the course of 3 days. Nope. We were later told that we had to pay for the parts as they had been ordered and paid for at a factory and were waiting to be installed. Nope. Never ordered. read more

This is in response to Liav's response to Al B's review on 5/8/20. As with everyone who writes a negative review Liav takes no responsibility for poor workmanship, poor customer service, and aggressive and unprofessional staff. Liav accuses all of us of attempting to sabotage his company that he claims we all loved and had a great experience. The truth is nobody has the time to take out of their day to attack a company that they love. If you notice in all of Liav's responses he uses adjectives, not facts while each of his negative reviews have very specific issues, many include photos. Yet, Liav continues to blame the customers. Liav's responses sum up the entire experience you will get if you work with Elite Remodeling Group.Liav claims that we had a great experience, the truth is we refused to sign the completion agreement. We simply threw in the towel and walked away. We paid the full amount hoping to never need to deal with ERG again. The extortion of which Liav speaks is in reference to the reasonable request to remedy the issue with our kitchen floor and bathroom walls. These two issues were too great to ignore. In typical ERG fashion, they blamed us, and treated us poorly. ERG went so far as to threaten legal action in regard to the negative reviews we have posted. You will see that they will respond to this post by stating that we are liars, the job was perfect, and we are just trying to sabotage their company. To be clear, the kitchen and bathroom do look okay. That being said, this will be the second time they have had to fix our kitchen tile. Practically, everywhere you look one can find an example of poor quality of workmanship for all of which they blame us. We did terminate the second half of the projects originally contracted with ERG due to missed deadlines and poor quality. We do have the paperwork to support the cancellation. We hired them to insulate the outside walls. I have holes on the inside walls from them using hammers to knock the holes. They charged us a high price and didn't fill the holes with rain on the way? They knocked 72 holes. Now I need dry wall work as well. I will not use them again read more

My wife and I have been talking about doing our kitchen for the past year and finally took steps to actually getting something going. We met with a few companies until we found Elite Remodeling Group. Compared to the other companies, it was a smooth process with the scheduling department all the way through to the actual appointment and the completion of the project. We met with Jacob and he was just on point with everything. He knows what he is doing and understood what we wanted while also working with our budget. The project timeframe was manageable and if there were any bumps, Jacob was very fast in smoothing them out. We are COMPLETELY HAPPY WITH OUR NEW KITCHEN and can't wait for our friends and family to come over and dine with us. The problem I have now is trying to get a response if anyone is coming back to fix a few things that needs to be replaced like a cracked backsplash and a few other things!! One of the workers that helped with the backsplash knew there was a crack but didn't do anything about it; our main person that was there from the beginning, his name is Or; he was such a nice person until he promised some things but towards the end, he lied and made excuses!! We called and received many quotes for a bathroom remodeling, adding a bedroom, paint job, recessed lighting, hardwood flooring and many small other jobs.... we were frustrated because the quotes were way overpriced. Then came Sagi from ERG and gave us hope. His quote was within our budget, which started us off on the right foot, but our praise for him doesn't end there. This guy has got eyes that can see what normal people like us don't. He found so many other issues in the house and took it on himself to fix them all at the same price. But, wait, I'm not finished yet. When the job is done, Sagi comes to do a final inspection and his tolerance level is zero to none, He would tell his workers to redo what would not pass as perfect. His workers also are very helpful and clean when working. They are fast and can get the job done in no time. We had permits so when the inspector came to check he was impressed how well the work was done. No delays with this part because ERG already knows what the inspector looks for so it was a breeze. Sagi and his workers are always on time. If they say 7:00am they are there on time. We have already recommended them to more friends and family. We brought ERG in to renovate a condo based on great Home Advisor reviews. Unfortunately our experience did not match those reviews. We had to terminate the work and use a different contractor. Our biggest complaints were with lack of supervision and poor customer service, including ERG personnel failing to supervise their subs and expecting homeowner to tell subs how to approach the work, and hostile shouting at us by ERG managers when we raised concerns. A difficult series of interactions for which we paid in time and money. read more

I hired Elite Remodeling Group to remodel my master bathroom after having really bad experiences with other construction company's and i am so thankful that I gave it one last chance. They installed new tiles, updated my shower to a beautiful walk in shower and fixed a leak in the plumbing (which is why I needed the remodel in the first place) . From the start they answered all my questions and concerns and reassured me every step of the way. They were always punctual and professional through out this whole scary process.
