First time here ordering lunch for 12. Giving a generous 3 star rating. Looks like half the restaurant is Cicero's pizza and the other half a Greek restaurant, hence the two signs out front. I ordered a standard for me, an eggplant parmesan what I thought was a hero, but ended up being a sandwich! A lot of bread and not much eggplant. The sandwich upset my stomach, which is not good and doesn't usually happen. Idk if it was the sauce or the eggplant. Even before my upsetting my stomach, I didn't really enjoy the sandwich and I wouldn't order it again. Can't speak to the other $200 worth of food that was ordered. Maybe their pizza or Greek food is better. read more

Cicero's Pizza - Eggplant Parmesan sandwich - Pizza Near Me - Bardonia, New York

Just ok. I added a star because of the service. The food left much to be desired. While the gyro lacked in meat, they over compensated with and entire onion! The gyro I ordered was meager. The Greek lemon chicken soup was bland. For the price of just a meager onion souvlaki with a dash of meat (no fries) and a small bland soup for $17, I will not be returning. The atmosphere is cool. It's got an industrial air to it. I have not tried the pizza and probably won't any time soon as I have buyer's remorse on this meal. Service was great tho. If only the food matched.... read more

Hiya, ive eaten at a few Italian restaurants, had a few dishes delivered to me-- never eaten inside, but had their food. food was good. service was good read more

They raised their prices and now are giving smaller portions the true American way. Chicken Parm and pasta- are significantly less food. And to top it off managers is always rude and unhappy. read more

Something really strange happened here. I used to pass by all of the time and counted on Cicero's for a nice slice of pizza, a soup and a salad. Recently we entered and the staff was very short and quick, the pizza was not the same and floppy. All of the pies sitting out looked super old. I had to ask to get a napkin, I mean really can't the people behind the counter provide one or leave some out? I was very disappointed and feel like something changed. read more

This place does large pizzas and personal pizzas very well. It also does great mozzarella sticks, and great veal and chicken parm heros!!!

I've never tried this restaurant before and I probably will not go back. I ordered a lunch consisted of Gyro with pork. The pork was dry with no flavor and barely chewable. As far as the tzatziki sauce there was no effort in the flavor as well it seems like yogurt with dill and a drop of lemon it tasted more Yogurt than anything. I also ordered the spanakopita which was a thin burnt layer of Filo dough on the bottom stuffed with spinach spinach with no taste. couldn't find any leaks or scallions and barely any any feta cheese. I did order the Greek salad which was a good size portion but the pepperoncini was dried out. I called the restaurant ask for the manager and spoke to someone by the name of Oscar. When I told him I was disappointed with my food he said that he's never heard of a complaint before and if there was something he could do to make it better. Well I asked him to look here on yelp and there's plenty before me and also gave their opinions on how bad the food was. Another restaurant I will not be spending my money on. read more

Ordered large cheese, garden salad, fried calamari and mild wings. Not bad at all. Maybe it was hit and miss for other reviewers but we thought the food and service were good! Good for four stars!!! I found my thoughts using words like: nice, pleasant, good, delicious and relaxing. So yes I would recommend! read more

Not too sure why the reviews are so negative. I live 5 minutes away from Cicero's, I mainly come here for the meals. Their dishes are very good. The meals here are very delicious. I usually have good customer service experience here. Nothing extra to rave about, but also nothing to complain about. I have had food from both, the Italian menu and the Greek menu. I find I enjoy both and both are very delicious and their prices are fair. For the portion of food you get and the taste, it is well worth it in my opinion! read more

Ordered Greek and quinoa salads with chicken. Delicious! They were ready in 20 min and did not have to wait at pick up. Staff was very friendly. Help wanted sign on door for those of you complaining on the service. Chill! read more

Ordered take out from both the greek and the italian side - the food was amazing and the pizza was so delicious and crispy! I highly recommend this restaurant they are definitely making everything using high quality ingredients. The staff is super friendly as well. read more

I've been ordering from here for 10 years and today was very disappointed. I tried to order deliver and was told they cannot deliver unless you order two or more meals. I'm working alone and cannot leave to pick anything up so ordering a huge amount of food would be wasteful. I tried to order a salad and also garlic knots and a water only to be told that's not a meal.... um... ok... so only if you want to get fat, you get delivery. I don't know why or when they started this rule but it's honestly absurd. I do hope it's something they decide to change in the future. read more

I am updating my review from my post I made several days ago. In my earlier post I did not refer to the other guests that we invited to eat with my wife and I. When I spoke to my friend about our displeasure with our order he stated his meal made him sick. He ordered the steak souvlaki which he claims gave him stomach ache. read more

Ciceros pizza is delicious and affordable. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. There are also other restaurants you can order from if you don't want pizza. Give them a try. read more

I drove past here a hundred times, I had no idea its a pizza place, you can't see inside and the sign says local cafe. Stupidest marketing ever. Pizza is just ok, Margareta was flavorless, with me adding lots of extra garlic, pepper and oregano it became passable. A single plain Margarita slice was $3.50, ouch! Interior is nice, clean and modern. read more

All the food from Cicero's/Piata is perfect. The salads are lush and if you get them w meat the portions are large and the meat is quality and cooked right. Their Greek food is traditional, the feta is imported. The vegetable slice is the best I've ever had. If this place has any negative reviews they are wrong. read more

Really really love the Greek salad. Can't stop thinking about it. Would eat it every night if I were Greek.

I grew up down the street from this pizza place, and Would usually order from here until we found Pizzarena in West Nyack a few years back. Decided to stop by with a friend though to grab a couple of slices. The kid behind the register was nice but I can see how people have an issue with the older gentlemen there( the owner I believe). While eating he walked right past us, didn't greet us or even acknowledged us, which was kinda rude. Not the type of customer service I expected. The slices were okay. I had a penne slice which was a little dry. My friend had a bacon chicken ranch slice which she said was just okay. The garlic knots were too doughy, it needed to be cooked longer. I've had their Philly cheese steak sandwich in the past and I've found that to be pretty good. Don't think I'll be back. Rather drive farther out to get a good slice and great customer service. read more

Just awful. Read the other reviews! Avoid and go somewhere else with better service and fresher food. I recommend Napolis down the street. Food here is cold, not fresh anymore. Very bland. Customer service is the worst part. It used to be very homey and they had employees who actually appreciated customers. Now they hire just anyone, they are very lazy and package orders like they could care less. They answer the phone and don't even say hello, just scream "PICK UP OR DELIVERY?". Where is the customer service? We spend over $200 a week here and unfortunatly won't be returning again. I ordered a soup and salad. Came with no dressing for salad, soup cold, no utensils, no croutons. I called to explain this to them and employee Louis said they won't come deliver that but to ask for him next time and he will credit my next order. Fair enough. I call to place another delivery order the next day and all of a sudden they no longer deliver to Pearl River which is exactly 3 minutes away and we have ordered delivery over 10 times, yet will deliver 10 mins away in New City. Customer service is absolutely horrendous, just no care for customers whatsoever. They lost us as a customer and many others from town have also switched to other restaurants. Hung up and called Napolis and they delivered no problem (mind you , they are further) we're much nicer and food was delicious. We won't be returning to Cicero's. This is what happens when you try to cut corners on staffing , you lose loyal customers. read more

The Pizza Nazi lol \It's so funny reading the reviews about the miserable management. I have a client at one of the car dealerships, we came for pizza. really the pizza wasn't very good and the owner/manager (he must have been in his early 60's) was absolutely miserable. He did not even say hello. he really should take up a different job. Pizzerias need to be extra friendly to its customers It is really is a shame. My client mentioned the guy was Absolutely miserable. lol Maybe he can take unhappiness management classes? read more

Excellent food at reasonable prices! I especially love the Greek salad! The staff is also very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend Cicero's! read more

I am not sure why the reviews are so negative, but we never had an issue with Ciceros or Piata. The food is really good and fresh, to be honest I think their pizza is one of the better ones in Clarkstown and a great price. A lot of competition in the area either the pizza is not so great or it's really expensive but the prices are fair and the good is great. Service whether sitting at the restaurant or getting delivery has been great, the staff is friendly and food comes at reasonable time! read more

I will never ever order from here ever again. The workers are an absolute nightmare! A friend placed an order yesterday and I immediately called back to pay for the order. I was placed on hold for a very long time and ultimately hung up on. I called again and was instantly put on hold again and once again he never came back. I called again and the line was busy. For the next 12 minutes the line was busy...I told my friend just to leave the food but she had already picked it up and paid(which she wasn't supposed to do). Beside the terrible service the fish on my salad was bone dry and inedible. Sorry but there are too many good restaurants around to put up with this. Maybe the owner needs to spend more time here and less at Burger Loft so he can fix his nightmare staff. read more

Right through the new door you immediately get a glimmer of what Cicero's will bring once the Bar area's completed. The pricing since the renovation is slightly increased, but the pizza is just as good, and the dinners are even better. Rule of thumb; get 2 Sicilian, an order of Garlic Knots and a Soda for a great combo for two. Great local gem. read more

Placed 2 orders of broccoli chicken penne and it was extremely salty not even my dog wanted to finish it, dinner was ruined. $40 btw so when we called the restaurant the next day the manager didn't have good restaurant etiquette we weren't asking for our money back or anything but he should've rectified it he didn't even ask hey what's your name for the order he just said oh sorry and hung up. Terrible customer service Franco's is better‍ read more

Pizza here is good but I'm not paying for his recent renovations. Charging $3.25 for a Sicilian slice is just plain price gouging. Pizza places in NYC don't even charge this much unless it's a tourist trap. Taking this place off my list. read more

Foods decent but literally the worst customer service I've ever experienced, on multiple occasions. And take my word for it(or don't) but I don't usually complain... read more

The meatballs at Ciceros are unbelievable. I normally find restaurant meatballs to be very dense and not very flavorful. These bad boys are delicious- so light and definitely have that homemade taste. I base my pizza on its crust and sauce- both great here. The crust is chewy on the inside, crisp outside. The sauce is perfectly simmered down, not acidic not sweet, but excellently done. 5 stars. read more

I went to Cicero's twice and never come back becuse the staff that work there are rude and disrespectful I go to tommys pizzia in west Nyack and the people at Tommy's are so nice and helpful and they care about there customers which is this place they don't give a shit and the manger of Cicero's should step up and apologize to who ever gets Mistreated read more

food is good had pizza and Greek fries no service no waiters no napkins got to go to the counter for everything it's nice looking restu on the inside no lamb gyro hmmmmmm read more

Went here after the place had been recently renovated. Loving the pizza. We got buffalo chicken pizza and wings. The blue cheese was the best dressing I've ever had in my life. The pizza was huge and delicious. Big chunks of breaded chicken. We will continue to make this our normal spot - can't wait for the new draft system to be put in, then this place will be the new place to be! read more

Food is pretty good, attitude from staff and mgmt is terrible. Don't expect that loyal small town pizzeria feel.

Yes, I agree that the attitude of the manager/owner is terrible and unfriendly, however the kids that work here are really nice and the food is awesome. They have all the regular pizzeria items and than a bunch of "out of the box" items as well. Soups are great and salad selection is really good as well. There are very few things on the menu that we haven't fully enjoyed. read more

I ordered a plain large pie the guy went to look for it, came back started helping someone else without saying if my order ready. Turns out he screwed up that guys order too. This guy grabbed my pizza that was where it was when I walked in, so much for "not ready", fumbling for tickets for 10 minutes. Not to mention I see this guy grabbing his balls then actually serve pizza without gloves? Lol gross. The plain pizza was gross, from crust to sauce to cheese, it was nothing great. This place I usually only go to once every two years and get an instant reminder of why I dont go there normally. read more

One of my new favorite pizza places. The pizza is great and the price can't be beat. The delivery takes a while sometimes but I'm really happy with their food and their prices. read more

I've always liked Cicero's Pizza. They have a nice variety of specialty pizza slices, salads, wraps, subs, and some pasta dishes. I'm a big fan of the ziti slices. The regular cheese pizza is good as well. My parents will usually order one of the subs and the antipasto salad. read more

Good pizza, large variety, eat in or take out. Staff is friendly. I called for a delivery and the food was still hot. No complaints about the food but the owner is miserable. read more

Excellent food and service!! The food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. We come here often and the food is always consistently good. I love the Greek salad and the pasta dishes. The staff is also very friendly. read more

Stopped in for lunch today. Nice menu choices. Ordered our wraps and looked for a table. Lots available but all needed cleaning. Had to ask for one to be cleaned for us to sit at. Also several table napkin dispensers were empty. Noticed as customers left, the plates/dishes were cleared but tables not cleaned. There were at least 6 staff hanging out behind the counter oblivious to everything. The good news is the wraps were delicious. Wish my "Jeero" had lamb instead of pork but the menu said pork. read more
