Chuys is a great place for consistently good food and service. I have never had anything bad here or had bad service!

Rogers, AR is the worst Chuy's ever from terrible service to substandard food. Did the Chuy's recipe book get misplaced? Had Chuy's everywhere in Texas- was a go to Mexican restaurant for us, but not this one. Have tried several times over the past 4 years and this place is consistently terrible. Quality of food is poor and ingredients aren't there. If you want a plate full of onions and hardly any other veggies and a rare piece or two of protein, then Chuy's is the place for you. On a good note the cocktails are good. Highly recommend Grandma Rocking Riia. Wait staff is awful. Rude. Done with Chuy's in Rogers. A shame. read more

Coming from Southern California I feel like I know good Mexican food and this place is not that great. It is good basic food, but nothing special. I will continue my search to find good Mexican food in the Northwest Arkansas area :(. I would say my favorite food there is the chips - they were really good! The salsa was good as well. DECOR: The inside is decorated in a fun manner. My friend called in three days ago asking to have a reservation at 1pm today. the lady told her to call back at noon the day of so that they could reserve a table. we have planned this birthday party for a week now. we just walked in and was asking to have the table we were promised, but we were met with a very rude tone and said they didn't know who my friend talked to. the birthday girl is now upset thanks to this awful manager and staff. will never be coming back here. don't promise something you can't do and then be rude. read more

I waited 10 minutes for my drink, even longer to place my order. The wait for my appetizer was way too long. The food is mediocre. The queso dip is basically Velveeta with red chile sauce. Prices are okay. No lunch menu though. The decor is cute but no Mexican, Spanish, or Latino music, only classic rock. The ambiance overall is definitely not Hispanic. My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. The place was pretty busy so we opted to sit in the bar which had a mixture of family, singles and business people. It is a great bar area that played classic rock music and provided a fun atmosphere. The server / bartender, sorry did not catch his name, was quick with the menus and to take our drink orders, margherita for my wife and beer for me all arriving in quickly. He also provided chips and salsa. Here is a tip, ask for the Jalapeno Ranch dip to go with the chips. It is free and I like it better than the salsa. My wife ordered the Cheese Chili Relleno plate while I had the Chicken Relleno and Chicken Enchilada combination plate. Both plates came with rice and beans and a choice of sauce to go on top. It was a huge meal and we both ended taking half home. Everything was freshly prepared and served hot. The server was quick to check if everything was prepared correctly and if we needed refills, frequently stopping by to see if things were still ok. My daughter told me to order the Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Enchiladas with an off the menu fried egg on top. I am going for that next time. Good ole chuys. Always reliable. This location doesn't fail. We came here with a party of 10 and they were able to seat us right away. They are accommodating in hanging up he menu if you have special dietary requirements. If you get there between 5-7 then you hit happy hour. Happy hour not only has drink specials but you can feast on a nacho car. Pretty yummy especially if you are starving. read more

Every time we eat here the food just gets better and better! Service is quick and very friendly. The serving sizes are huge! The last couple of time we have enjoyed their take on Hatch Green Chilis, wonderfully spicy and full of flavor. The happy hour salsa and chip bar is wonderful and their drink specials are very good. I'm only giving it 2 stars because my taco was hot. However no napkins were ever given and an obvious very long hair was on the meal of my friend as soon as the server put the plate on the table. She had to ask for a refund and canceled her order. I expected a visit from the manager with an apology in the very least. Unacceptable! read more

This could have easily been a four or five star review if it weren't for our experience upon arrival. This is our "go to" place for patio dining when we are in Rogers and we were pleasantly surprised to see that there was plenty of patio seating when we got there at 2:30 on a Friday afternoon. When we arrived and asked for the patio we were told that there was no available seating because there was only one server assigned to the patio right now. Really? On a beautiful 78 degree day? At that time, we were ushered into the bar area where we, eventually, just sat at the bar. There were just as many in the bar as there were on the patio and the poor bartender was running his tail off. In the end he was surely nice and attentive enough and the food, as usual, was good but we didn't come there to sit at the bar. With that said, as a restaurant guy myself, did it not occur to the hostess to ask if anyone could pick up a table on the patio? In my experience, most servers are hungry for every dollar they can get and the restaurant side didn't appear as busy as the bar or patio. This was either a common sense or training issue but if I was a betting man, I would lean toward a lackadaisical attitude by the hostess. She alone impacted our entire experience with her unwillingness to find a way to make a customer's reasonable request happen. The first five minutes and last ten of a restaurant customer's visit leaves the most lasting impression. read more

Ate there on a Friday at 6:30. Two of us and was told 15 minute wait but got buzzed in 5. Party of 6 behind us was told 1 hr wait. I had a margarita of which i thought was a little too sweet. This Mexi-American joint is super fun! The decor has a personality all of its own. Vegan and vegetarian options. Happy hour includes a fun nacho buffet in a car trunk. Servers are great fun every time I've been there. The martinis are unique. Tortillas are made fresh daily. They actually have a windowed-room where you can watch them being made. As I have said before, NWA has plenty of Mexican restaurants none of which are actually very good. Chuys is one of the better of the not very good crowd. I'll eat there, but it certainly isn't on our list of must haves. It's average at best. read more

First dining experience at Chuy's, it had been recommended by work associates. At completion of our meal, I would completely agree with their assessment. To start, the Chips and Salsa let us know we were on the right track. The chips were light and fresh, the salsa was fresh as well; we learned later it is made on site couple times a day. We ordered the Chicken fajitas, that would have been ample for two light eaters. The chicken was quality white meat, and included fresh tortillas made on site as well. We also ordered the number 3 combination, upgraded the taco to include fajita steak, it was the right call. The taco, along with the cheese enchilada were very hood, loved the red ranchero sauce applied over the enchilada. We further indulged with the house margaritas and found them to be very good; this is a big statement, as we are typically margarita snobs, upgrading our margaritas with Silver Patron. Not this time, and was content with the house mix. We will keep Chuy's on our radar as we travel. read more

If I could give zero stars I would...perhaps even negative stars? A big fat F-. We waited over an hour for food that never came while we watched other groups be seated, served, eat and leave. The training waiter disappeared, the trainee waitress was rude, as was the manager when we finally saw him as we were leaving.. An hour after we ordered the waitress asked if there was anything she could bring to us...when I said we never got our food she snapped "I know! Our manager is back there checking your ticket time!" NINETY MINUTES after we arrived, we walked out. At least the hostess told us to have a nice evening. read more

We came here o a Sunday afternoon. The place was busy and we got seated quickly. I got the Sunday special (Pork tacos) and they were very good! Rice and beans were great as well. Everything is homemade and pretty reasonably priced. The decor at the restaurant is very unique as well - cool paintings throughout. It's right next to Pinnacle Hills, so is a great place to go before or after shopping. read more

The service was great, but my husband and I did not like the food. The menu is very limited, most everything is too spicy for our taste, the free salsa is a pico de gallo which is way too spicy. There are very few options for vegetarians, but husband is a meat eater and was not a fan of the selection either. The queso and chips were good. I had the quesadillas (minus green chilis), and it was mostly tortilla and lots of onion. Very little cheese. Husband had the chicka chicka boom boom enchiladas - they were too spicy for him (he isn't usually opposed to some spice), and it only contained chicken, tortillas, and sauce (so pretty boring besides the spice). Now this is Tex Mex! Wow. I was actually impressed with the quality of food happening here. The staff was friendly and speedy. Salsa -Spicy and yummy! Now, I'm not really a Tex Mex kind of guy. I'm more Authentic or Baja style. (If you don't know the difference, you better learn ya something) So I went for the Baja tacos. Half shrimp half fish. Hesus Cristo! Perfect in every way. My 5 stars are due to our waiter Britton. He was working the tables in the bar area where he took care of us. He was so easy going and made our 9 year old feel very special. She likes to draw while at dinner and he complimented her work. This started great conversations about their mutual love of anime.
