The bartender was helpful in selecting taps for my flight- Watch out, the flights are six beers, not the typical four. I was pleased to see several saisons and farmhouse ales on the menu- they are favorite styles of mine and Rendezvous did a great job with them. What a fun experience and great beer and service! We went with friends for a local chili cook off held here, and I couldn't believe this place wasn't on Yelp. Great bar, knowledgeable bartenders, and a great area to hang with friends and chill. Many beers on tap, not being a beer drinker, I found one quickly that I was fond of. The bartenders gave me samples so I knew what to try. They were carding people to make sure of age and you could run a tan. Lots of spaces. The outdoor area will be great in the spring summer and fall!! There is a whole upstairs area and I heard bingo on Tuesdays! Yas! High top tables were roomy and comfy. Big bathrooms, apparel area, and outside food is welcome! I heard when the outdoor area is open that food trucks are outside. Pets welcome on leashes. I can't wait to go back! We've come here a couple times. Every time there's people inside and the beer is soooo tastey! We've even been here for trivia. The only bad thing about trivia is the audio is terrible and if it wasn't for the question being on the tv we would not have known what was said at all. It's a phenomenon to me how local breweries can have scores over 4.5 on Yelp as I travel the States, yet be almost undrinkable. Rendezvous clearly has a lot of money behind them as I walked over from my hotel and saw the extensive construction going on in this master planned strip. As I walked into the mixed use development I could practically smell large business behind this thing regardless of what their marketing says. I've been to a few breweries. Yes, I can tell the difference between money and passion. Doesn't mean anything about the beer quality, though. In this case, I ordered a sampler which is 6 beers. I had Discombobulated (German Dopplebock at 8%), Grillin N Chillin (4.2%), Shindig (White Wheat Ale at 5%), Lolkygagger (West Coast IPA 7.4%), Shenanigans (WC IPA w juniper at 10%) and Love Me or Haze Me. They were all very homebrew-esque- tasted like homebrew kits where the brewer follows a basic formula using the cheapest ingredients without any understanding of true brewing techniques- basically, a home brewer with money behind his/her operation. And yet yelp has them at 4.7 currently. I've been to phenomenal breweries across the states that have lower yelp ratings. This is my issue with local ratings - high ratings to "support" the local person without pushing them to make a better product or maybe just a locals lack of understanding on true quality- I don't know, but don't go here until their beer is better. Bentonville Brewing has far superior beers and is maybe 15 minutes away. Or, fly somewhere with a good beer scene then fly back so you understand why I'm being so harsh in my review. I want better beer everywhere- truly. And if we promote average, we keep getting average. So let's ask for really great stuff and push our businesses to keep being better! read more

This is a tap room on steroids with an impressive selection. I'm more fond of the porters and stouts naturally....And coffee.... so the eavesdrop on onyx was the intuitive choice and it did not disappoint. Smooth rich stout with a bit of a nutty flavor and just enough of a whisper of coffee to give the flavor of punch. The space is family friendly and 'rainbow family friendly'. Tap room experts seem like down to earth chill people just going with the flow and vibing with the room. The interior is industrial so the noise tends to reverberate and gets a bit noisy (highly recommend some acoustic panels floating near the seating but that's really stretching to find a critique) but after the first round of beers you don't seem to notice the noise as much. read more

This is the only place you can get their beer, it's not sold in any stores around. But after you've been here you'll want to come back - they have plenty of room. It's perfect for two people or large groups. My FAVORITE part is that they have mastered the flight. Your beers are in numbered holsters with a list, so you can keep track of what all you've ordered. Everyone who works here seems to be cool and obviously knowledgeable about beer. This is the kind of place NWA needs more of. Service is really good. Ambiance is nice. The problem I have is a group of us came with our wives and not everyone likes beer. The guys had beers and the girls wanted wine. They were charging $10 a glass of wine when they were pouring bottles of Eco Domani which retails for a 12.48 a bottle retail, which means they are paying $9-10 a bottle wholesale. When we asked the bar tender about it they said "well, we're a beer bar we're gonna make our money off other drinks." Very nice brewery setup, obviously a big investment. A bit bummed that they list 4 IPAs on their website, yet only had 1 on tap. It was a BIG sting to the wallet too. I don't understand why they serve a "standard" IPA (their Love Me Haze Me that is only 6.8%) in a 13oz tulip glass for $7.50 a pop. And while they were kind enough to pour it into a standard 16oz glass for me, the additional $3 bucks costs me $10.50 for a single beer. I'm all about supporting local breweries, & again these folks invested big in the brewery, but I can't afford too many $10.50 beers. Really nice folks behind the bar & brewery, I do hope they succeed & consider adjusting their pricing & ensuring what they are posting online matches what they have on tap. read more

My spouse and I stopped at this brewery two days ago on our way to Eureka Springs and we both tried the Schmoozinweizen (a German Hefeweizen) and the Just Jammin' Cream Ale. These beers were very good and, contrary to the interesting review posted by Tait L., they did not taste like they were made from cheap ingredients by a home brewer. We have been to a few breweries ourselves and take issue with the review posted by Tait L. (who apparently is a self-proclaimed expert on craft beer), and his baseless statement that this brewery is using cheap ingredients and does not have a passion for making good beer. We are not from this area and thus have no stake in the outcome but would highly recommend checking this place out as the beer is awesome and so is the atmosphere. The bartender was friendly and informative. Contrary to Tait L.'s assessment that the beer is "undrinkabble", the beers we tried were just the opposite--and we have tried a few in our many travels across the U.S. over the past several decades. So, for anyone thinking about stopping in at this brewery, please don't rely on a review that fails to give any details supporting the bad review and instead give it a try and make your own decision. This place is well worth doing so. read more
