Have tried to come to this place 3 times as I used to love their sister restaurant In Fayetteville. The first two times I gave them the benefit of the doubt, they were somewhat new and trying to figure things out. As I waited 20 minutes for someone to greet me & let me know that they could not accommodate us, with no reason. 3rd try, 2 years later, and there were multiple tables/ bar seats open. They stated that they were unable to seat anymore. I so badly wanted to prove my friend wrong that had a terrible food experience here but three attempts and I still couldn't do it. Finally made it here, I have tried to get reservations several times but always been booked. Thought we were in the wrong place as the building has so much construction going on. The restaurant is beautifully done in classy Caribbean I would calm it. We started with cocktails and my Manhattan and my wife's margarita were very good. I started with the tortilla soup, it was full of chicken and pretty spicey. A little bit more and this could have been an entire meal. My wife had the fresh guacamole and loved it. Then my wife had the seafood enchiladas and it was a nice change from the standard enchilada. I had the Barbacoa, a beef rib. It was very tender and seasoned very well, a delicious dish. Guys - this is the spot. It's placed in a multilevel strip mall complex and the vibe is perfect. Upscale and modern Mexican is the perfect description of this place. I was recommended the spicy cucumber margarita and was wanting more, but wanted to try a different cocktail after dinner. I wanted to try all the things so I ordered the chocolate churros (eating dessert first when dining alone is the way to do it), the pear salad and the spicy cauliflower. Everything was delicious! After dinner I noticed a burner on at the end of the bar so I had to ask the reason. They said they make their own caramel for their espresso martinis. I had to try the mini flight to see for myself and WOW! This place knows how to make an espresso martini! They had s'mores and a praline flavor that blew my socks off. They didn't have it in the menu, but they offered it around Valentine's Day and people kept asking for it. It's a no brainer to order if you like espresso martinis. read more

My wife and I have been to Loma twice. We waited about 6mo from the first time till going back again. Our first experience was that the food was great but the service was simply terrible. Second time, same thing. Had a 7:15 reservation and were seated at 7:14. It took 23min to be greeted by a server. We ordered drinks and the drinks came to the table at 7:47. 32min to get a drink. At the time the drinks were delivered we ordered appetizers. A grilled shrimp preparation and chips and salsa. Both were excellent, delivered at 8:02. That's 48min for appetizer delivery. However we didn't have utensils and napkins, which took the server about an additional 5min to retrieve. We ordered our entrees upon the appetizer delivery and a second set of drinks. The entrees came at 8:26 and the second set of drinks shortly after. Loma's food is excellent. The kitchen output times seem is fine. However the slow service just simply ruins the experience and chance to enjoy a night out. I'm sure your mileage may vary but two very underwhelming experiences leaves Loma nothing more than afterthought anymore. read more

I loved the ambiance and feel of this restaurant. You immediately feel like you're in an upscale place. Great vibes. However, the location is out of the way, in a commercial office space setting. I'm concerned others won't find them. The food is good, but somehow it missed the mark just a little bit. We've only been once, and haven't really thought about going back. I think it's just a little overpriced for what it is, compared to other places in town at a higher caliber (Junto, Mezzaluna, Conifer, Preacher's Son...). But, I do want to give it another chance. Maybe we just didn't order the right entree. It's such a pretty restaurant with great service, and yummy cocktails. And it's healthier than most Mexican places by far. read more

If you're in the mood for some upscale Mexican food, Lima is right up your alley! Hubby and I visited here last summer, and absolutely loved it. We left soooo stuffed and miserable, but in a good way! First of all, the restaurant is very lovely. Service was top notch. We had a great experience here. The food was excellent. Hubby enjoyed the barbacoa, and I had the most delicious mole I've ever had! Mole can be hit or miss for me, but Loma got it right. We added the papas con chorizo and black bean sides, and honestly, it was just the perfect cap. We are definitely going back next time we are in Rogers. It will be worth the trip. read more

Great spot to grab a few drinks with friends or colleagues! The margaritas are delicious, you can't taste the alcohol but it is there. I love the raw bar items especially the ahi tuna and marinated scallops. The sea bass is also so buttery! Must try. The pork belly carnitas were a bit dry and I wish they were a bit crisper. First of all, this restaurant is gorgeous inside. From the outside I wasn't exactly sure how to get up there, but you just need to take the elevator upstairs and then walk to the front door. I was there in March so the outdoor patio wasn't open. I met an old friend for dinner and to catch up on life. The waitstaff was so very patient with us and just let us take our time ordering. The cocktail menu looked great, but we opted for the mocktail versions of the cocktails. I wouldn't say they translate very well. For example, I got the Spicy Guava Mezcalita as a mocktail. The description made it sound like the spice was infused into the mezcal. Since I was getting the non-alcoholic version I assumed I wouldn't be getting any spice (which was what I wanted). But it was quite spicy and a little so sweet for not having the alcohol in it to balance out the guava syrup. I probably should have asked for a glass of Topo Chico to have them remix it to take it all down. Either way, like I was saying the ambiance in this place . I felt like I was at a trendy restaurant in CA, not in northwest AR! Gorgeous dividers, tables, chairs, and muted tropical decor. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass and while the portion was smaller, it was well-prepared, plated, and the mango pico de gallo added a great touch of brightness to the rich, flaky fish. My friend ordered the carnitas with corn tortillas and was equally pleased with her meal choice. Definitely not a casual place when dining indoors, but not overly fancy. We had a reservation at 6:30 PM to sit outside, and you'd think the restaurant would make sure the area was comfortable. Instead, our table was in direct sunlight, with no working fans and no canopy coverage. When I politely asked the first waitress if the canopy could be adjusted to give us shade, she seemed irritated, tossed the menus on the table, and walked away. She then sent a different waitress to serve us. The second waitress took a long time to greet us, and she didn't bring water proactively -- even though we were seated outside in the heat. When we asked for water, it took forever to arrive, and we had to keep requesting refills. At one point, I asked if she could just leave a pitcher, and she told me there weren't any available because they were "in the dishwasher." It still took a long time for her to bring one back. When our food finally arrived, the plates that were supposed to be hot came out cold. From the time we were seated at 6:30 to when we left at 8:20, the service was consistently slow and inattentive. To make matters worse, we noticed a big difference in how other guests were treated. One of the original waitresses who acted annoyed with us later seated and warmly served another group -- two women of a different race than us -- with a completely different attitude. She was polite, fast, and attentive with them. That contrast did not go unnoticed by our group. It felt like discrimination, and it was incredibly disappointing. We came expecting to enjoy a nice evening, but the service, treatment, and overall experience were poor. I will not be bringing my family back here again. read more

They are open for lunch!!!!! We were the only people there on a Thursday and that surprised me. This place is amazing. First, Autumn was our server and she is amazingly sweet and attentive. Her smile will brighten your day!!! The food was top notch and delicious. I got the Pollo Rellenos. It's a chicken breast stuffed with pepper and cheese. I was expecting the opposite. We have been so excited to go to Loma for our anniversary dinner. The entire experience was very disappointing, from the start to the end. My husband made a reservation specifically for a patio table to enjoy the sunset during our dinner. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't busy, but we stood at the host stand for several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Despite our reservation, we were taken to a table indoors. When we asked to be seated outside as planned, the hostess seemed visibly annoyed. The patio table were seated at was wobbly and unstable. Still, we tried to stay positive and enjoy the beautiful view. We ordered the following: Ribeye Appetizer - Small, overcooked, and flavorless pieces of steak. Very disappointing. Pork Chop - Unfortunately, this was the worst dish of the night. It was incredibly dry and nearly inedible. The pineapple accompaniment was clearly canned, which was surprising and underwhelming. Chilean Sea Bass - This dish was just okay. The fish was fine, but the mango salsa tasted off and didn't complement the dish well. Roasted Corn - This was just frozen corn..... Brussels Sprouts - Undercooked, unseasoned, and bland. The sunset view on the patio is undeniably beautiful, but sadly, it's the only thing Loma has going for it. Not my first time eating here and not my first time having the pork chop. My first time was great! However, this time it wasn't. My pork just looked so underwhelming with the presentation. Also, with the way it was cooked. It was dry and thin. The Aguachile Camarones was ok. The lime made it taste too bitter for my liking. Like it was not as fresh as I hoped it would be. Our waitress was phenomenal though! Very friendly and attentive. The food did take forever to come out. However, I enjoyed the ambiance of this restaurant and the aesthetics of it. Given the beautiful and upscale vibe of Loma, I was quite disappointed in both the service and food during a company dinner with colleagues. While our waitress was very friendly, she seemed to struggle substantially in serving our table of eight. Food and drinks came out very haphazardly. In fact, when two of the eight in our party did not receive entrées with the rest of the table, she mentioned that she was only able to enter six entrées at a time, so the other two would be late. Food was fine, but nothing as special as the prices would indicate. The chips and salsa which come out in the beginning lack flavor, and the chips seemed to be fried in slightly rancid oil as the taste was off. The salsa was fair. We did have a ceviche appetizer and a steak piece appetizer, both of which were very good. My colleagues enjoyed Chilean Seabass, another said the Molé was okay but nothing unique. A couple enjoyed the seafood enchiladas. All in all, the meal was disappointing, particularly given the price and mediocre service. My husband had ordered a second beer, but when it hadn't been brought by the end of our meal, he asked the waitress to cancel it. At that point we were so underwhelmed, we just wanted to wrap up the dinner. For a restaurant to present itself as upscale (our waitress even emphasized that after we told her it was our first visit), it should aim to deliver in more areas than the price. The waiter didn't seem to care about us as customers and when we expressed our concerns, his response was quite flippant.
