I forgot about this place from six years ago. Way overdue for great meal. And joined lots of other friends and families for weekend lunch. We got plenty for leftovers so it was all very worthwhile. Our meals had plenty of chicken in them. Takeout boxes were just right to just pop into frig. See photos of interior just posted.

Be sure to join the list online before arrival! This was our first time to this location and it was a 20-30 minute wait for a party of 2 and the bar seating was full. Not unexpected for a Friday night. The hostess was a bit hard to understand but was pleasant. Our server was attentive although she did refill one of the drinks with the wrong beverage. The ranch and burrito bow is what I was wanting and they did t disappoint. The chicken flautas were ok. I would go back when I am wanting that salad and jalapeño ranch!

New Mexican Martini

Still wondering why there are no good taco Tuesday deals around here. Chuys included. But we came anyway. If you're into martinis , the New Mexico Martini is so good! It's worth coming back just for that. The Paloma was just meh. Chips were solid, the salsa not so much. Ask for jalapeño ranch dressing and mix that with the salsa and it's better. I had the taco salad with fajita meat, huge portion and I could only finish half of it. The place feels like it used to be something special but now it's looks a little worn out. Our server was awesome and attentive. Still searching for a solid taco Tuesday spot. If all else fails, I'll be back for that New Mexico martini.

We were here during Christmas week. Walked in and they had a 15 min wait. We stayed in the waiting area, which had a good decor. Once we got seated, we got the chips and salsa. jalapeno cream was amazing. Ordered Chicken Enchiladas with Boom Boom Sauce, Chuychanga with Boom Boom and no meat. Kids ordered Cheese quesadilla and enchilda. Chicken enchilda was amazing with Boom boom sauce, chuychanga was ok, wife said she wouldn't order again. Kids enchilada was dry, although fries were good. Kids loved the pop up as as dessert Service and food were great, will make a reservation before coming by next time

Pancho's. Beans look like they're 7 years old and hardly any cheese. Gross.

Waited 45 mins for a to-go order that is poor quality and disgusting. Do better Chuy's.

I had their jalapeño cream sauce at an event before and I really wanted to have it again. So I ordered it and yes, tasted just as good as I remembered. However, I decided to order a quesadilla ($12 for just cheese) and I was highly disappointed. There was hardly any cheese. I mean it looked like they took a piece of sliced cheese from the grocery store for each one and called it good. I couldn't even taste any cheese. I could mainly just taste the tortilla. And there wasn't much flavor. I'm sad they couldn't get something so simple right. I will give them another chance some day. But I won't be in a hurry to do so.

The food was very good and I the service was good. I love all the decorations and the dog photos. It really ties up the ambiance.

There is good reason for their bad reviews,... Chicken rubbery, burnt, awful. Service was ok.

The photos make it look very lively and fun so imagine our surprise at happy hour on a Friday walking into an entirely empty restaurant! Two couples inside and a couple guys drinking on the patio. We still decided to stay because we were hungry and the place itself is super duper nice and cute! We opted to sit at the bar where we were kindly greeted and two TVs playing football with no volume (which I love)! The barstools were very comfortable as well. Ordered two of the BEST margaritas I've ever had with the gran marnier! I now want all my margs made this way. No need for a second! For food, the enchilada verde and the taco lunch plates were pretty dang good. No complaints there and the servings were reasonable and not too much from the lunch menu. No leftovers. Really enjoyed the verde. Chips and salsa were something to write home about! Amazingly toasted and crunchy, I should have asked for a bag to go with just those chips! Very good! All in all, the staff was too kind and it happened to be my friend's birthday so I "snuck away to the restroom" and told our waiter and he surprised us with a perfect tres leches slice that was absolutely delicious! For lunch and margs I spent $65 and he treated us with that dessert and I felt like that was so sweet! Thank you team at Lalo! You guys were great and I now actually like that the restaurant was slower at the time but I do hope they pick up because it was a great place for us! Enjoyed very much and if we are ever back in the area we will stop through.

I had made online reservations several days before our 5:30 reservation for 7 (4 adults, 3…read morechildren) on a Saturday. I highly recommend making an advanced reservation. There were so many people waiting outside. It was so nice to be able to be seated quickly, especially with kids in tow. They did not offer reservations beyond 5:30 that day, so you'll have to be aware when placing it. You'll receive a text confirmation from Open Table. Be courteous if you need to change or cancel your reservations. We were seated in one of the smaller rooms, which was great! We had good service even though they were extremely busy. We came here for our favorites that we usually order at their other location. The frozen mango margarita is thought of fondly. While it was good, it didn't taste quite as good as I remember it in the past. A very faint mango flavor, it tasted like a plain frozen margarita with orange coloring. It was disappointing since we looked forward to it for so long. The chips are always delicious. We ordered the chicken fajitas for 2 with no onions and they brought us combo chicken & steak fajitas for 2. We just ate it and took home the leftovers. They brought us a container to pack up and processed our tab quickly. Overall, a good visit with a couple of small opportunities for improvement. There are not enough parking spaces in their parking lot! We had to park next door by Academy. We parked far from the store as to not take away parking from Academy shoppers.

Something for every appetite here, but don't come on Mondays when it is closed! Right off Preston Road in Frisco, TX I had Enchiladas Rancheras (chicken breast inside) with rice & beans... authentic & filling. Pro Tip: The Frozen Margarita Machine was invented right here in 1971!

The spot itself is unassuming: maybe ten booths and ten tables. By noon on a Monday, every booth and half the tables were taken. The place was busy! Service was excellent. NEW LOCATION * NEW LOOK * STUNNING!…read more This new build of Gloria's will transport you from Plano, Texas right into a Mexican resort. From the moment you step into they foyer, yes there is a foyer and enter the main building the decor, the music, the live plants, the colors - ALL of it are straight out of a tropical resort. We chose to sit on the covered patio, think lanai. My husband and I couldn't get over how much it reminded us of our vacations to tropical resorts. The famous chips, salsa and bean dip has not changed, thank goodness! The menu hasn't changed, but we were able to partake in the brunch menu on this Sunday morning. I stuck with my favorite Tropical Salad with fresh mangos and berries topped with grilled chicken. My husband enjoyed the brunch menu Breakfast Tacos with fresh fruit and enjoyed the hearty portion with brisket. Our kiddos stuck with the kid's menu grilled chicken and chicken nuggets - all were pleased. They were especially thrilled the kids menu comes with a scoop of ice cream! The service was the usual friendly and speedy but not rushed. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be back to this beautiful new location!

Ordered a frozen swirl margarita and normally this drink would give me a buzz. Not this time. Couldn't tell if there was alcohol in it. Maybe they're skimping on the Top Shelf? Ordered enchiladas- beef with red sauce, and chicken with sour cream sauce. The chicken was moist, but both sauces were bland. Like seriously-no taste. The rice on the plate was shaped liked a hockey puck and had the same consistency. Didn't order dessert. Was pretty put off by the food. I really hope they get their act together and stop cutting corners. The new place is nice, but I feel like they're trying to save $$ to pay for this new location. I'll try again in a few months. They got 3 stars for nostalgic reasons and a hope they get back to what made them so good before. But for now, cost cutting is the primary menu item.
