Service is very poor and the manager didnt take care of his customer. Would not come back to this location.

Food was great, when got the beef burrito, I consumed in 2 minutes. That's about where the pleasurable experience ended. I believe the lack of service was due to an inexperienced host staff. Walked in and our server already had a 12 top and two other tables whilst the remainder of the restaurant seemed a bit empty. Someone ran us chips and salsa after sitting at the table about 8 minutes and had consumed that before drinks hit the table. When our server finally had a second to introduce themselves we ordered queso and our main course (having already finished the chips). No refill on chips, and queso and main courses all arrived at the same time (refill on chips came when we got the check, after having asked a food runner to refill them). Hosts continued to seat this waitress while she was obviously in the weeds.... Poor girl couldn't keep up. Asked to take the queso to go and did not receive Togo bag for our chips and dips, went to the host stand with 4 hosts and asked for a largo Togo bag, they pointed at the bar and said I could get them over there.... Hosts need training for sure. read more

Love this place for TexMex food. Love the creativity of ambience and modern look, openness of seating too. Their food is very tasty and superb chicka boom boom sauce. Must try and enjoy with family and friends! read more

Don't include tip for pickups until you actually get your food. Did a curbside pickup on a Sunday afternoon. Had ordered on-line an hour beforehand for a scheduled pickup. Checked in when we got there and waited. Finally went inside to see what was going on while watching three other people get their pickups before me. Took 20 minutes finally past our pickup time for our food to be ready. Wish I could take the tip back. read more

Chuy's - Chicken Taco Salad to go - Tex-Mex Near Me - Frisco, Texas

I ordered from the Frisco location today and was met with a surprise. As I was eating, I noticed something in the back of my throat didn't feel right. I initially thought it was a chip that I didn't chew completely and it had gotten lodged in the back of throat as I was also chewing on the beef which was tough. After trying to move it around, what I thought was a piece of chip, with my tongue to get it to come up, I eventually had to use my finger to move it. As I placed my finger in my mouth to get what was stuck, I was then met with what was a lengthy sized twisted piece of metal.....Hoowwwwww???!!!! So, it can only be imagined my fear and the possibility of what could've happened had it actually made its way down my throat. I immediately called the store and spoke with the manger who by the way was nice. I could tell he didn't know exactly what to do except provide me with a refund and offer for me to be contacted by their insurance. BUT, he did state that the metal was from the scrubbing tool used to clean the grill. Thankfully, I wasn't SERIOUSLY injured and THANKFULLY it wasn't my 2 year old eating with me and gotten it in his mouth. It was bent and twisted when found but I straightened while trying to figure out what it possibly was. read more

I'm so frustrated right now because my experience with Uber Eats and Chewy's on Preston Road was honestly the worst I've ever had with a restaurant. I realized my address was wrong on the order, so I sent my friend Sean all the way from South Dallas to pick it up. I called Chewy's first to fix it, but they said they couldn't do anything-couldn't cancel, change the address, or switch to pickup-and told me to contact Uber. I tried reaching Uber, but the options weren't helpful, and when I finally got the driver, they asked me to give them the codes to complete the order so they wouldn't get a bad review. I did that, and I spoke to two people at Chewy's to hold the order for Sean. But when he got there, they gave him nothing but resistance. Even after showing them the receipt and a screenshot of the order, they still refused to hand over the food. The kitchen manager Bruce was a complete prick, how can someone get in trouble when a receipt was shown the order was completed via uber eats and the $140+ order was payed in full even though the food was ready and there were 2 employees there to verify that they said they would hold the order. If they'd just given Sean the order, this whole mess could've been avoided. Never again, Chewy's. read more

Went for lunch to chuys Frisco and loved the food, the vibe and the excellent service. I am a vegetarian and was happy that the server knew the difference and warned us that the queso was made using chicken stock! Jr suggested the boom boom sauce that we loved! Fajitas were awesome! I returned to Chuy"s on a cold Wednesday night in February not expecting a crowd. I ended up circling the building twice to find a parking space. The restaurant was full and rather than wait I took an end seat at the bar. My wife was busy meeting a friend from work for dinner and I had a gift card with an unknown balance to use up. The food was great and the service outstanding. Lots of families here with little kids. A neat family place. So when you see some negative reviews, consider how popular it is this cold weekday night. On my way out it there were still people waiting. This is one of the best restaurants to try in Frisco. read more

Came here the night after my surgery looking for a special treat. Let's just say that's what I got on my fork... Wife and I came in around 5-ish in the evening, to then be greeted by the host and manager. My wife said a table for two; we were then proceeded to be sat. Having had surgery it wasn't really comfortable for me to be the "aisle" seat (a.k.a a table), like on an airplane. So I asked my wife, if she can ask her, if it's possible to get a booth. I watched as my wife walked over, and then walked back. The host then sat another table at a booth near us, right after we asked for one and got their first. As the host walked back to the host stand, my wife pointed to the table she wanted and got a delicate nod from the host that it's ok? I guess. In clear confusion if we were going to be seated there, or if it's ok, my wife and I walked over to it after waiting for the host to seat us there but never came. On the table was some leftover onions. Excuse my years in the food service industry, but isn't it the hosts job to make sure the guests are seated at a clean table with menus and silverware, and notify the server. Clearly she couldn't do that. Without knowing who our waiter was, we waited for a server to come by and hand us the basic items, food chips, salsa, etc.. and asked her to clean the table before we use it to eat. Everything was going ok, when we got our drinks and ordered our main meals. Once we got our meals, we proceeded to unwrap our utensils that are sealed inside a paper wrapping, ensuring customers these are cleaned thoroughly. As I unwrapped my utensils, it seems I was left a present that I touched. At the end of my fork was a nice pasty booger that was holding some hairs onto it. I told the server that there seems to be a booger that I touched from the "cleaned silverware" left by the person cleaning/hand drying the silverware. I proceeded to go to the bathroom as she took my silverware from me. It took about 4-5 minutes as I walked to the bathroom, scrubbed my hands, and got back to the table.. to find out I still need to wait for new silverware from my server. It seems there is no sense of urgency/priorities in this chuys. I tried eating my enchilada meal I ordered, but I was unable to get the mental image of an employee wiping their nose and then touching my silverware when they are supposed to be cleaning it... This is absolutely disgusting and I will never be back here. The people that work here are children and the manager doesn't seem to care as I didn't even get an apology or talked to by the manager checking up on us after the incidents. It seems this chuys has lost their flame and just like bad steak, they are chewy. read more

Oooh...want Mexican with all the grease and none of the flavor? Chuy's is the place for you! It's redeeming quality was the jalapaleno ranch sauce - outside of that, the chips were way too thin and soggy (oil), the food ranging from burrito/chimichanga/fajitas looked promising but tasted disappointing. La Hacienda Ranch remains the gold standard (they just had a kitchen fire in July 2021 so they were closed) and for the same price, zero reason why Chuy's should be on your list. read more

This Chuys is always like an episode of "Cheers" for me! Where everybody knows your name. Lol! I love Chuys and I especially love coming here. I have my favorite way of having my drink made and my tried and true menu items and I rarely stray! Double Tito's on ice in a short glass with 3-4 lime wedges on the side and a bottle of Topo Chico so "I" can play bartender at my table. Ha! The Mexi Cobb is killer I always get cheese in the side and use their famous chopped pico salsa as my dressing. And I usually drizzle some of that ridiculous jalapeño creamy ranch! Perfect if your working on that summer bod! Luke is officially our "Chuys Child"...haha! He's the best server and takes such good care of us! We really like Sasha the bartender and Emile too! All great at what they do! Best place to sit is in the cocktail area (near the bar) or out in the patio. My hubby and I grew up with the flagship Chuys in our backyard in Austin so it's really great to have them here now in Frisco! Enjoy! read more

Truly the worst service with the most bland food. The location in Frisco tops the list of the worst chuys. It took almost 30 minute to take the check from the table . I think Frisco customers are just supporting these bad restaurants by still eating at these places. Never ever again ! read more

I went on National Margarita Day (2/22). They were extremely busy but was seated within 10 minutes. I ordered a taco/enchilada combo. The food was tasty. The service was great. hello! I recently went to chuys and we had "Yadira B" as our waiter. And the food was great!! But our waiter, who we have had previously, said "I do everything for you, and you do nothing for me" and said we didn't give a tip. But when we didn't, we were going through financial troubles and could barely even afford our meal. She made us feel belittled and stupid. You need to reconsider who you hire! read more

Love the creamy green, very spicy sauce poured over my shredded chicken enchiladas. I visit this place every time I'm in Dallas or Indiana! The salsa seems fresh and chips are thin, not to oily or salty. The bean dip is especially delicious too, it's a soupy consistency and very flavorful. The restaurant is always clean and staff are always smiling! Until next time... read more

We used to love this restaurant, but the quality of the food and the service has declined a great deal. When we arrived around 2 in the afternoon, the hostess was most unfriendly. Just unacceptable. Then, our server informed us they made my husbands order incorrectly and would need to remake it. Mistakes happen, but they must have just put my meal under a heat lamp, because the chicken was dry and crumbly when it came out. So disappointing. Won't be back read more

This was my second all time visit to Chuys. The first was a different location many years ago and left such a bad memory I have not been back in over a decade. Somehow my husband convinced me to try it again and I can say I was more impressed with this location and the food. The salsa was decent and the food was good. I've always been a big fan of Chuys. Our waitress was on point with everything. She even suggested getting a combo customized Enchiladas which I did. I love their queso and jalapeño ranch to start off with. The chips are thin, fresh, and crispy. I forgot how spicy the Boom Boom sauce was that I asked to put on my Enchiladas. It was still fantastic. The skinny margarita was good as well. I'll definitely be back at this location. read more

I love TexMex, and Chuy's has great food selections for everyone. We started off with queso as our appetizer, and I ordered a skinny margarita. The skinny margarita was fantastic, and the queso was good. I haven't had enchiladas in a while, so I ordered the combo of ground beef and chicken with the boom boom sauce. Just a warning though, the sauce is on the spicy side! Our server was very attentive and checked on us quite a bit. PS ask for some jalapeno ranch to dip your chips in! I'll definitely come back to this location. read more

We had a fairly good experience at Chuy's! There was a 20 minute wait on a Wednesday evening but we expected that based on previous reviews. Hostess was kind. Server kept us laughing and also checked on us frequently! Food was also good. No serious complaints or issues. Will definitely visit again :). Worst place to eat. I love Chuy's, but this location is awful. I got told 3 different things from workers, including the manger, after following their own written instructions for an online order. The manager was honestly the most infuriating because he had no idea what he was doing, and it was very apparent. Go to another Chuy's or another restaurant if you're in the area, because this was not an easy process JUST to pick up food. read more

One of the better Chuy locations I've been to! Sat on the patio and was welcomed with warm heat lamps, which was perfect on a chilly day. You can never go wrong with Chuy's unlimited chips and salsa and of course you can't forget the JALAPEÑO DIP! This stuff is addicting! This is something you have to ask the waiter, free of charge. I got the boom boom chicken enchiladas which were delicious. I didn't expect it to have a kick, but it did and I really enjoyed it because I do love my spice. My sister got the chicken enchiladas with the verde sauce, which was even spicier. I do recommend getting the boom boom sauce. We both preferred it. Overall, was very satisfied with my meal and I can't wait to come back! read more

I used to go to the Chuy's in Plano before this one opened in Frisco. I went to the Frisco location and got the same things that I usually get at the other location - Started with a Margarita and caeso+chips+JalapenoRanch dip. Followed by the Beef Fajitas. The Frisco Chuy's has the worst and rudest staff. Just can't go there any more. Would rather drive farther to other locations.

I was really disappointed in this spot after hearing many positive reviews. Our server hardly came to check on us and didn't seem very attentive. I ordered an enchilada and it wasn't worth the price and there wasn't enough sauce. The only saving feature was the chips and salsa plus a special ranch sauce that my friend asked for (secret menu item) which was delicious! I just witnessed the most disgusting lack of humanity by the management of Chuys. The couple in front of us had called ahead to make sure the patio was open, because the wife is going thru cancer treatments and can't be inside or around other people. The patio was closed when they arrived even though they were assured it was open. They just refused to serve them out there even though it is 1:40 pm and the place is nowhere near crowded. I'm sure one of their servers would have happily served them if asked. The manager refused and left it to the young hostess to explain to them. He didn't even come out. We tried to explain to them and were called rude too So sad this little old lady with cancer was craving Chuy's and actually had an appetite during treatment and was turned away I'll never be back to this location even though it's been a favorite place to eat. Edited to add: This was at the Frisco TX location on Preston road at 1:40 pm on 1/12/22. The man said he called earlier (and that they had done so before) so you can likely check the incoming call log that day to see who he was. If you can publish a corporate email I will send you my information. I'm not going to post it publicly But as a daughter who watched my dad die of prostate cancer and the effects of chemo on him and a volunteer with Susan G Komen I can truly say your manager, hostess and staff are pretty darn cold and uncaring and unsympathetic human beings. I only wish I had offered to take the couple out to dinner on me. I don't even know them. All I saw was a loving husband trying to enjoy what little time he had left with his wife who was going through who knows what with her cancer treatment. And that day she craved your restaurant and you failed miserably!!!!! Rules be damned. Open up a table on the patio next time! Shame on you! read more
