I thought the price per pound for some things was way too high ($10+ for a pound of Swedish Fish when you can get that for $3 at Walmart? I'm from Littleton originally and I have to say that it's always fun to come back and visit Chutters. The candy counter is INCREDIBLE, and the fudge is awesome!!!! Last time I went- was for the fudge. They have many many different flavors of fudge. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. =+) read more

A decent experience, but the prices are eye watering. $14 a pound for candies that you can buy for 1/4th of that at most stores. Got some candies for my nephew here but will be going elsewhere in the future. Not worth it for the price. read more

I think I teared up a little walking in because I was so excited and didn't know where to start. The back wall is COVERED in jars of candy! (You name it, they have it) They also have fudge and truffles which looked amazing. If I remember correctly, for the back wall, it is $12.99 per lb. We walked out of the store with $40 worth of candy... no shame. read more

I love a good old fashioned candy counter! And they don't get any bigger than the one at Chutters (literally - it's in the Guiness Book for World Records). After basking in the wonder of the candy counter that is a whopping 111 feet, 11-3/4 inches long and reminiscing about rock candy and other childhood treats, we loaded up at the smaller gourmet sweets counter on the other side of the store, filled with truffles, chocolate creams, peppermint bark and other delectable assorted fine chocolates. We also bought a variety of malt balls and caramel salt chocolate balls - a perfect sweet treat for our 3-hour drive home. A must-stop for anyone passing through this area. read more

I used to live in the area and never went here, but I was back in town for a visit and decided to check it out because I married a sugar addict. Can't go wrong here. First time back in about seven years but still just as I remembered it. From the free tastings of fudge to the every flavor of jelly belly beans, there is something here for everybody. Only gripe is that they got rid of the regular space wafers but I'll get over it. read more

The Mother Load of candy! Not only do they have the world's longest candy counter, they have homemade fudge in many different varieties that is to die for. They also have all the old favorites that made me really feel like a kid again. If I lived nearby, I would weigh 800 pounds because I would be there every day. We brought the kids in to get some candy. Staff was very nice. But some of the candy was stale. Very disappointed with that. Don't mind paying for it but don't keep old candy out. Everything else we got was good. read more

This is the Willy Wonka spot to take kids, and just fun for adults. You can find some retro candy (Teaberry gum) and the best fudge (Three Layer). They even have a great selection of Sugar-Free candies. Great NH trinkets too. read more

The prices are pretty fair for what they've got--I got 2 bags of skittles in hard-to-find, a handful of candy sticks, and a few licorice laces for just about $12. I will never go back to this store, the mechandise is fine, but the staff at the time I was there were thieves. I gave them a twenty and got change back for a ten. Didn't notice it right away cause I was in a hurry to get change in my meter outside. When I did realize I immediately went back and they denied it, and said they would call me after the drawer was counted at closing, I waiting in town, I live 60 miles away, no call, Almost an hour later I called them, and someone I hadn't talked with earlier told me the drawer was balanced. I would stake my life on the fact that I gave her a $20, I had just gotten paid and gone to the ATM, they don't give $20's. Will never recommend or step foot in that store again, and will tell anyone and everyone why. I'm on a fixed income, can't afford money mistakes. read more

A large selection of candy and "some" obscure items I remember from childhood but good lord the prices. Most of the candy can be found at Walmart for a fraction of the price. Be prepared to spend $20 or $30 on a bag of "penny candy". Also, it seems like the jars are all grazed from the top and the stuff at the bottom sits there for months. read more

Chutters is like a kid's (or kid within) dream come true! Wall to wall, literally, of candy! It's almost a bit overwhelming when you start walking around. You basically buy in bulk here. by the pound. They have a huge array of candy types, from fudge and chocolate concoctions to fruity drops and penny candy items. It is astounding. I also have to say they do have a nice selection of food and other gift items in the back part of the store as well. The place is huge. It did reach a point where I just had to pay and leave as there are, as can be expected, a lot of kids wandering around with bags of candy to fill. So it can get to be too much. All in all, with three bags of candy between 2 kids and 2 adults I spent around $84...on CANDY!! But the experience and the quality/choice of candies was so very worth it. The customer service is great here as well, they have plenty of help on staff to weigh your selections and check out. I highly recommend at LEAST checking it out. i dare you to leave without buying something. read more

Don't order on-line! I order the "Giant Swedish Fish" as a father's day gift, about a week in advance. It came SEVERAL weeks after. The packaging was in an actual ZIPLOC bag and it was a half pound of REGULAR sized swedish fish. read more
