This is a Mexican café, which opened on 2023-09-01. They offer churros, coffee, cold drinks, and ice cream.
I decided to try out their churros by ordering the following:
1. Traditional Churros (3 for $7.75) with Dulce de Leche sauce (+$1.00) and Coconut topping (+$1.00).
2. Caramel Crunch Churros ($5.50). It comes with Dulce de Leche sauce and Peanut topping.
The husband and wife team are owners and operatos. The churro recipe is from the wife's grandmother. The husband went to Mexico City to learn from his wife's grandmother. They are a very nice couple, giving great service.
I found the peanuts on the raw side. Perhaps it is to offset the sweetness of the Dulce de Leche sauce. I personally prefer peanuts that are more cooked.
There is an open kitchen so you can see your food being prepared. I could see the churros are made-to-order.
There is indoor counter seating and outdoor seating during warm weather.
The 92 in the store name means the owners were both born in 1992. The store logo features their dog, who is called Manacita. He is designated a churro warrior.
There is free WiFi. The cafe is wheelchair accessible. There are no washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking.
