Talk about bang for your buck! These churros are MASSIVE. Just ONE of them felt like 2 huge churros or 4 smaller ones... And such fun and unique flavors! Adorable little dessert spot. Churros are wonderfully sinful and great for a splurge. We tried the Oreo/ chocolate flavor, Nutella and sprinkles, and cinnamon and sugar. Soooo good! Def one of the best Churro spots in Chicago! Fresh made to order. Takes awhile (10 min wait or so) but so worth it! Lots of great flavors, too. I love the Abuela which is a Churro sandwich with gelato and so delicious. The drinks are good, as well. The are perfect with a churro for dipping. It's a Latina owned business and they have two locations I was so excited because they have vegan churros! The Jane churro is so delicious. So warm, cinnamony, crunch and soft inside. At Churro Parlor, everything is made to order so the churros are so fresh and warm. We tried the Aunt Rose, Mau, and Hazel. Our favorite was definitely the Mau! The dolce de leche is sooo creamy and rich. Next time we are definitely trying the churro sandwiches because can you imagine?!? Was so excited to try this small churro spot on the north side! It's right off the CTA brown line and has unique churros for cheap prices The staff were super kind when we arrived! It did take a bit while to receive our order, so we just waited and took cute pictures of the interior of this spot which is sooo cute! We ended up getting the Aunt Rose, Mau and Berry White churros. The Berry White is very sweet, if you are into that! I personally liked the Mau the most. They were not the most amazing churros but then again I'm not a churro fanatic. Ended up going to Churro Parlor because I was with someone who wanted to try. The shop is attached to Cafe el Tapatio. It is small but very cute and instagramable. They have this huge pink wall. We ended up getting their most popular churros according to the lady working there. We got the Berry White, the Mau, and the Aunt Rose. They were all aesthetically pleasing and all quite yummy. I think since I still like a traditional churro taste, the Mau was my favorite since it had that cinnamon taste with the drizzle of dulce de leche. I never really liked churros but it turns out I've only had bad ones before Churro Parlor! I drive down Roscoe once in a while and each time I see someone walking down the street eating a churro. I knew I had to check it out! I got 2 churros and an espresso drink to share with my husband for about $9 so everything was fairly priced. We waited about 5-10 mins which is not bad given everything is made to order. We tried the Camila drink, which is an iced horchata with espresso. We both agreed this was delicious, not too sweet, and pretty light. We tried the hazel (nutella with sprinkles) and the prudence (condensed milk with graham cracker crumbs). Everything was amazing! The churros were crunchy and light and absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back to try the other varieties and maybe even pick up a box or two for family gatherings in the future. read more

Order ahead and just pick up. Skip the coffee. Avoid the workers. Churro was great (I got the Aunt Rose) but the terrible service and coffee is the reason for the rating. Coffee -- so weak and tasted watered down (I got the Parlor). No flavour at all. Service -- awful. We went inside to order and were told it would be about 15 minutes and someone would bring it to us as we were seated outside right in front of the see through front door. Ahead of us there was a table waiting for a box which, understandably, takes a while. However, some people that ordered after us got their order and left (could have been that they ordered ahead and picked up. No problem). After about 30 minutes of waiting I went inside and asked for water. I was told there was a $1 charge for water. After waiting for long for my drink and churro I definitely wasn't going to pay that and declined. The worker said nothing else so I went back outside to wait. It was getting cold so we moved inside to the little table and we were asking what the hold up was. (by now we were waiting 40 minutes for 2 churros and 2 coffees). The worker says "they're right here. They've been ready for 15 minutes." No one brought it out to us, no one notified us. We had been sitting outside in the line of vision of the kitchen and and all of the workers (there were like 3 or 4 people standing behind the counter). This also means that my order was ready when I went inside and asked for water. No one said a word. When I confronted the worker about why no one brought it out to us like we were told the response was "I never said that". No apology, no notification when I was talking to the worker 15 minutes prior. Very disappointed. read more

My boyfriend and I ordered the Mau and the Aunt Rose. Both were delicious but we both preferred the Aunt Rose. We also tried the horchata with espresso and it was SO GOOD! Such a cute little place. I have visited three times this month. Taken others and all had a great experience. Some of the flavors don't live up to the descriptions, but they are still yummy.
