    Autumn Bowl

Fruit Paradise may be my favorite place I have found since moving to Chicago. The inside of the store had plenty of space to sit and was very clean. The person working was quick and professional. I was pleasantly surprised at the menu options. Not only does FP have smoothies and bowls- they also offer items such as empanadas.

Before even trying anything yet, I don't have a good impression of this place. Girl who took our order didn't seem to know about anything their items and couldn't even find what we wanted on the list. Then when it came to pay, the machine needed rebooting and resetting. Smoothies are crazy expensive but maybe that's just Chicago. I ended up paying more than $20 for 2 large smoothies. That seems a little absurd to me... I'm thinking $7.50 per is more appropriate for such a tiny smoothie (Large) Service is pretty slow... purchased 9:17 and 9:30 finally received the drinks and place is empty. I will say smoothie's are spot on for flavour and combination. So for that I can give 3 stars. Probably will try other places and may adjust my stars accordingly if this is the standard in Chi Town.

I can't believe I haven't been to Fruit Paradise since before the pandemic, as it used to be a frequent go to foe a quick snack or late night dessert. Having gone last night as we happened to be in the area, I am very glad it is still doing well and continues to produce quality food, at a reasonable cost, with a smile. I used to have to a fairly insatiable sweet tooth, which, when searching for a brownie split one evening several years ago, is how I stumbled upon Fruit Paradise in the first place. While there is seating inside, this is definitely a take off/delivery spot, I wouldn't say it is the best hang or atmosphere. But the food? Maybe it was nostalgia, or maybe it really is that good, but man, that's the best brownie sundae, and some of the absolute best ice cream, in the city. The brownie was heated up nice a fresh, a perfect texture and chew. And the ice cream is so flavorful and creamy, absolutely delicious. We walked out with this giant brownie, that comes with two huge scoops of ice cream, as well as a third scoop for my wife, for $15 including tip. Considering most ice cream spots charge close to $10 or $11 for a pint of ice cream alone, this is a great deal for some really delicious dessert. And the owner, who is often behind the counter, is super friendly and accomplishing as well. Glad to have Fruit Paradise back in the rotation!

    Tropical Healer Acai Bowl

Wanted a light and fresh lunch. Decided on an Acai Bowl. They have a good selection of bowls to include premiums bowls. I ended on the Tropical Healer. Bowl was filled with Pinneaple, banana, strawberry, guava, honey, granola and coconut flakes. It was really refreshing and satisfying. I enjoyed each bite. This restaurant is really quaint and clean. Plenty of metered parking along Milwaukee. Give yourself some time on meter. Probably do 20 minute if during busy hour. Only 1 person working that I could see. Happy to support a local business. Will be back to try the soup and arepa.

Wow. Just found my new favorite açaí bowl spot! I'm actually obsessed. Not only is the place adorable and homey, but their açaí bowls are top notch! I got the Green Gloria bowl with a small chicken arepa. My açaí bowl was super fresh, sweet, filling, and tasted so natural. The arepa.... Omg. It was my first time trying an arepa and it set the bar soooo high for the next arepas I'll try. I got the chicken arepa - the bun was so soft yet flakey and firm at the same time. The chicken with cheese was absolutely delicious. They packed the arepa to the brim with the chicken and cheese. The sauce that came with it was *chef's kiss*. My total for the premium açaí bowl and small arepa was $16 on the dot. I wanna come back and get the jumbo arepa! My sister and I came here on a late Sunday morning, and the place was fairly empty with a couple sitting in already. People were coming and going as my sister chilled and ate our food. The employee working was so hospitable and kind, and even helped my sister choose something. This place was catchy on the inside and outside, as well, with plants and colors all around. I will 100% be returning to this cute, local açaí bowl place in Logan Square!! Check it out!

I pass by this place nearly every day and think "I should try that place". Well, today was the day and it won't be the last! The menu is overwhelming (in a delightful way) but the person behind the counter was helpful and took initiative to explain what they have. I got a green smoothie (Silhoutte) with pineapple, cucumber, aloe Vera, and mint. Super refreshing on a hot day. Already eyeing the Pink Dragon or the Kale Colada for the next visit. I did have to wait a bit so may order in advance next time.

A hidden gem / paradise in the neighborhood! Must try if you are into fruits and healthy eating! Food: Açaí classic bowl - 5/5 - not as pretty in presentation as some other places but it tastes damn good! Paradise bowl - 5/5 - equally delicious as the classic bowl, mango replaces the strawberries Rosy Heaven bowl - 5/5 - loved the sweet combination of flavors here Fructose bowl - 4/5 - ok but not as sweet nor balanced versus other açaí bowls Green Gloria bowl - 5/5 - called green but NOT actually green as the color of the purple açaí overtakes it. HOWEVER you do taste the kale Berry Creamy bowl - 5/5 - exceptionally unique and delicious combination of flavors and textures! Forever Young bowl - 5/5 - outstanding, very unique flavor... one of my favorites! Must try! Country pork arepa - 5/5 - so delicious and loaded with flavor, plus a cute presentation! Must try! Catira chicken arepa - 5/5 - also super delicious and flavorful! Must try! Ham & cheese arepa - 5/5 - perfect balance of cheesy and salty chunks of ham! Must try! Okepa arepa - 5/5 - Mediterranean style filling, very cute presentation and a delightful taste! Criolla arepa - 4/5 - mediocre taste because the fillings don't really complement each other, definitely the least favorite Chicken empanada - 5/5 - interesting color and texture; delicious taste, worth a try Pork empanada - 5/5 - delicious taste, worth a try Beef empanada - 5/5 - diced, spicy ground beef; delicious taste, worth a try Ambience: Small, cozy neighborhood style Service: Fast, attentive

Freshest fruit smoothies, açaí bowls, & sweet treats in all of Logan square ! They don't use any added sugar so it's just pure fruit. Ordered the mangonada and the tropical fruit smoothie- would definitely recommend! I've been here a few times and every time it's completely dead and service is very slow. There's a huge menu- almost overwhelming.

    Acai Classic Bowl- very good!
    Genna G.

Pretty good acai bowls. I had the original with fresh strawberries, bananas, honey and granola ( it also comes with blueberries and coconut flakes which I passed on). The empanadas looked tempting so may be back to try those. Best açaí I've ever had ? Probably not but solidly good and worth a stop if you are in the Logan square neighborhood and craving acai .

Literally obsessed with this place!!!! I was on the hunt for a good açaí bowl place and so happy I found this place on Yelp. The guy who took our order was so nice! I ordered the pinky butter and my husband got the berry bowl. Omg YUM!!!!!!!! The best bowls I've had!! We also split the veggie empanada and it was one of the best I've ever had! The place is absolutely adorable, very clean and had great music! This is definitely a local business you want to support! I can't wait to go back!

I passed by this cute little smoothie/acai bowl shop on 4/20 and I had to try it. I am always on the lookout for good acai bowl places in Chicago. I ordered the Fruitopia bowl and I loved it! I give it a true rating of 7/10. The smoothie part itself was so delicious; I was just not expecting the raisins on it. Perhaps I didn't read the ingredients thouroughly but besides the point, I demolished the whole bowl. I also ordered a chicken empanada, which to my surprise, was so so delicious. They also have WiFi here so I was able to study for a little. Such a cute little place here in Logan Square. I'll be back soon (:

    Green Tropical Smoothie

I ordered the green tropical smoothie because I was craving a smoothie and didn't want fast food smoothie. This smoothie was very delicious and satisfying. I have quite honestly never been so satisfied with something as simple as a smoothie. You can tell the ingredients are fresh. My cousin said the chicken empanada was delicious. I was disappointed and annoyed with the size for a large, but overall, the taste and freshness of the smoothie offsets the size of the cup. A once in a while treat that I highly recommend

Can you bring in outside food?

I doubt it. You could call and ask. They serve nutritional meals, power bowls, juice and smoothies. The new location is different from the old spot. Less like a cafe.

Has a surprisingly varied menu. There's empanadas at lunch if wanting hot stuff. Because it was breakfast we got some of the smoothies and bowls. It's about $7 for a smoothie which isn't that bad for around here. The one I got was the Kale Colada Smoothie. It's green. This is made with bananas, coconut, kale, pineapple, and spinach. It's about $9 for bowls. We got a couple of these. Best one was the Sunny Bowl. This is made with acerola, apple juice, apples, bananas, and mangos. This is topped with apples, bananas, coconut flakes, granola, honey which I left off, and mangos. Good but it just wasn't enough. It's small portions for the prices. The fruit is fresh though, and at lunch they have empanadas, including a few okay for vegans and vegetarians.

I've tried to come here twice in the past month, and tried to order delivery through DoorDash the third time before work. Everywhere you look, on maps and on delivery websites, it says this place is open. However, all three times I've attempted to order something from here, they have been closed. The lights are off, the doors are locked, and there is a "CLOSED" sign pasted on the door every time. They do not mark anywhere that they are closed until you drive there and see the sign on the door. To me, this is incredibly strange. Having your business on delivery apps and making the driver go all the way there for it to be closed, then causing issues for the customer and causing them to cancel it (did not get my full amount refunded either) is very unprofessional. Their phone line is also disconnected. They must have shut this place down and the owner just didn't bother to take it off of any maps or delivery apps, because when I tried to call it immediately said this person is not available.
