It was really busy when we stopped by and the staff was still super friendly and helpful. The churros came out hot and fresh.... I was a little afraid that they were going to be overly greasy because I've definitely felt that way about other churros, but these were great - just enough to give them a little glisten and to help the cinnamon sugar stick. We also got the birthday cake gelato, and it really did taste like birthday cake and had small bites of yellow cake and sprinkles mixed in. The portion size was great, tbh probably about double what I expected, so would strongly recommend that. There's not a lot of room inside to eat, so keep that in mind if it's raining or something. We went and ate outside on the patio (it seems to be a connected/sister restaurants, but there was plenty of room and nobody yelled at us.) We had a great visit and would recommend stopping by if you're in the area and looking for a sweet treat! One of the best churros I've had. Every bite is crunchy and warm and simply melts in your mouth. It took them approximately 7 minutes to get it out but that's how you knew it seemed to be made fresh. The gelato was creamy and sweet but not overly so and went well with the churro flavor. The only downside was how small the restaurant was. 6 people were there and it felt very over crowded. Thanks to Yelp I found this gem! I love churros and gelatos, so I was so excited to come here and try a new place for the first time. I love how their churros here are made from scratch - if you haven't had a piping hot churro fresh out of the press, then you're missing out! My partner and I enjoyed every bite - they allowed us to enjoy our treats on the patio. My scoop of gelato was recommended by the staff - I love how the birthday cake had chunks of cake in it, and it was decorated with sprinkles. We were given the option to have the gelato while we waited on the churros. I also got a box of 6 to go - 1 prudence and the rest were Janes. The seating inside is limited to 1 table, so it's first come first serve. Otherwise, outdoors is an option weather-permitting. When I entered Churro Parlor, they had a sign that says "it is recommended to order before hand bc it takes 10-15 minutes to make your order." I went on a Tuesday around few minutes after they opened, and there was already a line of people waiting to order. I tried this place via a Yelp event today. Thought that I would write a review on the main page as much experience wold have basically been the same. My family decided to get two of every flavor. Let me just say that these came out fresh out of the fryer and with fresh toppings. They were all excellent, but our favorites were the chocolates and the berry cream with fruity pebbles. That was the biggest surprise. They were also huge and extremely well priced! The chocolate sauce was also outstanding! The only downside was that all the churros are all the same, but just with different sauces and cereals. We thought they were going to be filled with the sauces. Still, they make an awesome churro so they were delicious. The service was also excellent! But, the churros were amazingly good. It took awhile for the young lady to freshly make them. I ordered the Berry White Churro (triple berry cream cheese with fruity pebbles sprinkle on top. We drove an hour this weekend to try out this gem. We ordered 3 churros, ice cream, and a cafe con leche. Even after the hour drive back home the churros did not disappoint. My son had the Mexican hot choclate ice cream, and I wish I would've bought a whole 5 gallon drum of that! I look forward to going back to eat them fresh! The business is only about a month old and it contains an artsy wall (mural) for your best "gram" shots. So plan something fun.. Note: I like how their light fixtures resemble cupcake toppings. There could be an interesting photo opp there.. I was at Target the other night with a friend and the thought of a churro came to mind but the only spot I could think of was about to close. "Xurro" Churro factory on Lincoln ave. I performed a quick search on my Yelp app and found this spot which was only a block away. A quick phone call revealed that we had approximately 55 minutes left to place an order before the kitchen closed. They sell individual and assortments of churros. (Dessert) Churros sandwiches and cafe selections. Not the typical creme filled kind. Think, over-the-top, large with a twist shape at the bottom. All kinds of toppings. Your churro will be covered with a tasty glaze and then topped with nuts, crushed cereals or cookies. You can opt for a dipping sauce as well. Or, go big with a churro sandwich that is stuffed with gelato. It is decadent and must be eaten in one sitting. Day old churros do not sit well, nor will they be best (haha) the second or in subsequent days. In one week we hit them 2x and with the same buddy in tow. Dude has a serious sweet tooth. He lives in Buenos Aires and never buys churros on the reg. But, really digs the "Mau" here. I'm too am preferential to a "Mau" or "Joan Halloway" and pair it with a Camilla iced. You could tell it was fresh, the oil was clean/new, crunchy and crispy on the outside but fluffy and hot on the inside. They recommend ordering ahead/online because they are made to order. I was with a couple of friends so we decided to split a half-dozen churros so we could try almost all of them. For $12.99, it's a great deal instead of ordering the churros individually. I also got a small, iced horchata latte which was probably the highlight of my experience there to be honest- it was delish. For the churros, we tried all of them except the plain Jane and the Nutella one (we know what Nutella tastes like). We all agreed that the one with dulce de leche was the best and the berry fruity one was the worst. The chocolate one was a honorable mention for the group and I also liked the guava one - but the boys thought it was relatively flavorless. It just depends what your expectations are. If you're expecting a churro coated in a flavorful sauce, you might be disappointed when you taste mainly churro.
