We ordered: Jane - classic cinnamon sugar spice * vegan Joan Holloway - guava compote * granola crush * vegan Dulce De Leche Gelato Churros are made from from scratch, not sitting around under a heat lamp, were delightfully crunchy and soft. Gelato was dense but still creamy. Tasty flavor in both options. No issues with service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]No spots inside to sit down and chill: just order and go.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Super airy and crispy churro. Guilty pleasure for sure. One of the best churro I had Ice cream's also great. Just takes a while to wait for the fresh churro to be fried. So Order online ahead of time as the owner replied!

Love this place! It was such a perfect combination of churro on a rainy day. The churro was fresh and so nice and warm, it paired well with the dulce leche gelato. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance inside was nice and the service was quick and easy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It was so good will be coming back again.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute spot for some dessert![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As part of a yelp event I got to try the Jane churro and ice cream and i loved it! The churro was fresh and the ice cream was tasty! We definitely dipped our churro too and it was solid! Service is great they make everything fresh!

Shares a space with cafe el tapatio so you can get dinner and dessert. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have a pretty large patio so it's def a summer hot spot.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

One of the best churros I've had. Every bite is crunchy and warm and simply melts in your mouth. It took them approximately 7 minutes to get it out but that's how you knew it seemed to be made fresh. The gelato was creamy and sweet but not overly so and went well with the churro flavor. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only downside was how small the restaurant was. 6 people were there and it felt very over crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think with a food like this it's best to eat it immediately but if you have to walk and eat or stand outside in the cold and eat it just doesn't have the same effect[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This is a great place to stop in for a sweet treat. They had your classic churro along with some tasty combinations like fruity pebbles and Oreo crumble. The churro itself wasn't too sweet but if you add toppings it could get sweet. We tried the berry white, Jane, and abuela which was a churro sandwich with ice cream, YUM! A few of them are Vegan friendly too. There was street parking, not bad to find a space.

Thanks to Yelp I found this gem! I love churros and gelatos, so I was so excited to come here and try a new place for the first time. I love how their churros here are made from scratch - if you haven't had a piping hot churro fresh out of the press, then you're missing out! [[HIGHLIGHT]]My partner and I enjoyed every bite - they allowed us to enjoy our treats on the patio.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My scoop of gelato was recommended by the staff - I love how the birthday cake had chunks of cake in it, and it was decorated with sprinkles. We were given the option to have the gelato while we waited on the churros. I also got a box of 6 to go - 1 prudence and the rest were Janes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating inside is limited to 1 table, so it's first come first serve. Otherwise, outdoors is an option weather-permitting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'd totally come back when I'm in the area next, and I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for churros and sweets.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute and trendy churro and gelato spot in the Roscoe village![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Churro Parlor is connected to and owned by the owners of Cafe El Tapatio (a good place for Mexican food). When I entered Churro Parlor, they had a sign that says "it is recommended to order before hand bc it takes 10-15 minutes to make your order." I went on a Tuesday around few minutes after they opened, and there was already a line of people waiting to order. I received a churro and a choice of Gelato (I chose bday cake flavor), and it was delicious! The churros were made fresh in front of you, and the gelato was cold! The churros were sweet but not too sweet, crunchy, and warm. The gelato was very thick, creamy, sweet, and had a lot of REAL cake pieces inside the ice cream. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a great place to visit on a hot day![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Really cute place!! Fun offerings!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I really enjoyed the churro sandwich. [[HIGHLIGHT]]My main complaint is the outdoor seating is for the restaurant and not the churro shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]When you have a dessert shop that has food that requires a table to eat they should provide more than one inside table.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Nice spot for churros. Fresh and delicious. You will have to wait for them so be prepared to wait a bit. They have different flavors. I only tried the plain. But they all look so good

Freshly made churros in different flavors you've never had before like guava or s'mores( prudence)? Are you kidding I'm in. The texture and size which is skinnier and softer of about 7 inches in a number 8 pattern reminds me of Spanish churros as opposed to the Mexican one we usually get. Highly recommended.

    Michelle M.

So so so good. Small spot with delicious churros. They do take a hot minute to prepare so, definitely, call ahead if you can. There is NO parking. I suppose you could park on the street... if you're lucky enough to find a spot.

Starting with margaritas (because obviously ‍), queso and chips that were dangerously good, and the chicken empanadas that came out perfectly crispy with so much flavor. We kept looking at each other after every bite like "okay wait... THIS is the best thing here" and then another plate would arrive and prove us wrong again The carnitas fried rice??? I genuinely cannot stop thinking about it. So savory, flavorful, comforting, and packed with crispy carnitas on top with the eggs and pickled onions... literally unreal. And then the skirt steak tacos absolutely stole the show. The steak was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and paired so perfectly with all the toppings and sauces. Every single bite tasted fresh and homemade in the best way possible. And can we talk about the ambience for a second because WOW. I must admit that I had low expectations because quite frankly, I have not enjoyed Mexican food outside of Mexico or California. However, we were hungry, and it was near where we were staying, so I decided we should check it out, and I am so glad we did! The food was great. Both adults and the VERY picky children in our group all enjoyed our meals. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas and the other adult ordered a chile relleno combo, which I also got to try. Everything was delicious and devoured by all! We were so full but the owner talked us into the chocoflan, and we did not regret trying it. It was soooo good! Speaking of the owner, the service was great. We really enjoyed how he and the rest of the staff were very courteous. It is a small establishment, and it gets a good amount of people, so I assume that there are waits during peak hours. I highly recommend Sabroso! Appetizers were quac and chips, and shrimp ceviche. The guac was really good, but the ceviche was the star. Served on a bed of cucumbers, it was visually beautiful, and the flavor was fresh and complex. There was also a LOT of it. We ended up taking some home. Entrees were steak and shrimp for me, and Tampiquena for my friend. In both dishes, the steak was done to perfection. The sauce that came with my shrimp was spicy and deep--lots of flavor layers there. Both of us took home portions of our meals because there was a lot of food on the plates. Finally, the service--the servers are attentive without hovering. If we needed something, they were there, but never intrusive. It is hard to believe this is a little neighborhood spot, given the service and the quality of the food. It was not too busy tonight--we ate early--but I recommend reservations. It is very popular with the neighborhood. Bottom line, we each had 2 margaritas, appetizers, and entrees, and our bills with tip were around $105.00 each--totally worth it! Only real negatives were that they did not offer any draft beer options and the Chips y Salsa ($3.75) had a meager quantity of chips to eat their tasty and generous tomatillo and 3-chile salsa options.
