I was here with my family on May 18th after finishing our road trip. This place wasn't busy when we arrived around 5PM. Luckily we didn't have to wait for food/tables for too long. We had ChuiHong Combo B ($37.00) it was little small for 4 of us. Food was pretty good. Deep fried chicken was fresh and flavorful. Black bean noodles and Jjambbong were pretty good as well. This place was just as good as HeeRaeDeung in Coquitlam. I highly recommend this place for Korean food lovers! This place is a must try! read more

Left the impression of a poorly managed business. They have an online waiting system that gives very inaccurate estimation times, so you show up to the packed chaotic restaurant a little ahead of the estimated table availability time and then your forced to wait in their small and very tight and packed entrance area surrounded by noise or you have to go back to your car and wait there or drive around for another 20+ minutes. Then they tell you they'll text you when the table's ready. 45 minutes later no text received and I give up completely annoyed. Their system is broken. I called and spoke to the "manager" who it took way too long to explain how poor the customer experience was, and for them to even partially understand. Seemed to be little to no concern fir the customer abd a selfish attitude. After all that, and observing they didn't even consider some kind of token offer to make things right for their business's defects, before attempting to end our discussion, I asked are you going to offer anything like maybe pick up one dish next time, to show some skin in the game and good will to make things right, if I would take the chance to come again. You would have thought such a concept was unimaginable to this "manager" who ultimately confessed has no authority to do anything like that. I recommend considering avoiding a business ran so cheap and ineffectively, and with such unprofessional and insensitive short term greedy thinking and behavior when something goes way wrong for the customer due to their fault and multiple defects. They showed how they think and it's really ugly read more

Best Korean Chinese restaurant. Food taste good as Chinese restaurant located in Korea.

The food, the service and ambience of this place is perfect! The kimchi is always fresh, the seafood soup is always flavourful and their sweet and spicy fried chicken is great! read more

So, I work at the school close by for the past 3 years and I've always been wanting to try this place. This place has amazing reviews and a lot of my korean students would tell me to go try. So when school reopened June 1, I had to go back to work and I took advantage of weekly takeout since summer break will be soon. So, the last week before school ended, I ordered the black bean noodles (people high recommended this), sweet and spicy chicken, and the chicken yakiudon. Ok, the food was super flavorful and delicious! Black bean noodles The black bean is black and the sauce is very thick. I ordered it to go, so I had the sauce seperate (I live in Vancouver). The sauce was very thick and had a lot of garlic and onions in it. My dads not a fan only bc he doesn't like onions or garlic, but I do, and I loved it!! This is just black bean sauce, onions, garlic and noodles, no protein. Deep fried pork in sweet spicy and sour sauce. Ok, this was still slightly crunchy when I got home and that's a 30 min commute. We have an airfryer, so we tossed it back in there for 3 minutes. This was yummy. My dad was dipping the sauce as if he was eating french fries and ketchup! This was good too, again, we had sauce on the side bc I had to drive to Vancouver. Chicken yakiudon Ok, I'm an udon person and I loved this! It was saucy and flavorful and so much better than at japanese restaurants! Overall, it was a very good experience and I will definently order from here again! Cash, debit and credit available! read more

Tried few popular dishes (Jjajangmen, Jjamppong and Tangsuyuk. As for food, it is pretty average: nothing spectacular or special about this place, yet this newly opened place is absolutely crowded with people - those who eager to find out what the over-priced hype is all about. If you can driver few minutes further, you will find a couple of better places in Langley. read more

Chuihong is probably the most consistent Korean-Chinese restaurant in the lower mainland - been going here for a few years, and its always been good. Good portion sizes, not greasy, not too much MSG and a clean space. If you like Jajang-myun, or other staples of Korean Chinese cooking (not sure how to spell them correctly) you won't be disappointed. read more

Food is a solid 4, but not that much variety. A lot fried food options. I would recommend the spicy noodle soup (Jjampong) and Black bean noodles (Jjajangmyeon). Servers were busy, so we had a hard time getting what we need. read more

To dip or to pour? I prefer to dip. The tangsuyuk is good for 4-5 people and yes, order it! Of course it goes with Samsun Gan Jjajang! That one can feed 2 people too! I also craved for the fried rice and that did not disappoint me. Highly recommend. I'm bring the kids back here read more

2nd time coming here all the way from Seattle. Servers are great. Food is great. Waiting is long but that's not their fault. So they turn the tables around very quick and everyone working here is fast. It's just that good and many people tend to come eat when food is good! read more

Excellent Korean Chinese foods! Just like the ones I tried in hometown Korea. I personally think Jjajang-myeon was better than Jjambong.

We stopped by for dinner at 6:30 pm on a weekday and there was a small lineup. We waited about 20 minutes before being seated at a table. Service was fast and efficient in terms of being served tea, and food. However, you have to flag a server for placing an order, getting food packed or paying the bill. We ordered the Combo C ($45) and seafood pancake ($22). The portion size was fairly large. The noodle with black bean sauce was very tasty! Noodles were soft with a slight chew. The sauce was flavourful. Definitely one of the better versions of the noodles I have eaten. The spicy noodle soup was alright. The same noodles were use in the soup. The soup was medium level spicy and had an okay amount of seafood and veggies. The deep fried chicken and fresh vegetables with spicy sweet and sour soy sauce was a highlight. The chicken was perfectly fried with a light batter. The soy sauce complimented the chicken well. The chicken was sprinkled with garlic and veggie bits. Beneath the chicken was a bed of salad leaves. The seafood pancake was loaded with seafood and green onions. It made for a good appetizer to share. The pricing for the combo was reasonable. I did find the seafood pancake to be expensive for what it is. I would order the deep fried dumplings next time instead. read more

Great food and service in a clean, modern environment. Get here early on the weekends because people line up before opening. Worth you time and money for sure. This Summer we visited this restaurant more than any other. read more

First time visiting after it moved out. Much better than it was inside Fraser Heights

Dine in today. Food is ok not salty and delicious. On side note the servers that day have no concern on the customer. We accidentally forgot our leftover for just about 2 minutes and when my wife comeback the server said it was already put away in trash. With money tight these day it is disappointing to experience this. Anyway, the server apologized but hopefully the management should improve on this matter. read more

Locally owned in Fraser Heights! Opened when I was still in high school and it's one of my top Korean restaurants. Has great student combo sets for the local high school based on what you want - Pork Cutlet, Sweet and sour pork or Black bean noodle with a choice of pop. The portions are great and quite generous and good for families. Reasonably priced also. read more

What I wanna know is, how on earth do they keep the deep fried chicken crispy even after being smothered in their delicious sauce?!?!!! My friend took me here for dinner a couple weeks ago because of their black bean noodles, which were insanely delicious!!! I've also never eaten kimchi on its own because I'm not fond of the taste unless paired with meat and rice. But here, I devoured that entire side plate of kimchi because it was so tasty!! It was mild but had a lot of spice! Came back today for lunch with my boyfriend and made the mistake of coming during the after-church rush. Waited close to an hour but so worth it. I will keep coming back here for sure! read more

Small but very busy restaurant. The best jjangmyeon I've tried. Glad for the chance to eat here during our short visit to Vancouver.

This place is insane! Some of the best food of my entire life! Don't read my dribble of words , just eat here now!!

Food could have been better, not the worst. However, when I paid the bill to surprise everyone I specifically told the waitress to keep it a secret. The machine/ my card didn't go through so I had to try a multiple times. When we were all still eating, the waitress came up to our table and demanded more tip? It was just a very embarrassing and unpleasant service and situation. Never going back again. read more

Good food and price, service is good also. Only problem is waiting so long. I ate few times with my daughters. We all like the food.

The food was very flavorful and we had the lunch special to split between 3 of us. Two of the dishes were noodles and I wish one had been veggies or something, but we knew that when we ordered so that's on us. One of us had an allergy to soy and they quickly helped her make a good menu choice. The service was very good and environment was clean. read more

Probably the best Chinese-style Korean food you will find in Surrey. Located in quiet Fraser Heights, it's a nice little spot if your in the mood for some Korean comfort food :) Jjajangmyun (black bean noodles), jjambong (spicy seafood noodles in soup), tangsuyuk (sweet/sour fried pork) and kkangpungi (sweet/sour fried chicken) are solid choices here and reasonably priced. read more

Honestly, I don't really like the food here. It's expensive and has lots of veg in main dishes. Also, pork katsu is rock hard and dark with 99% filling and 1% pork. I've tried many other items on the menu and I don't like all of them. read more

good onetime when i order for spicy fried chicken， I got non spicy one . That was a pick up so have to eat without spicy read more

Giving them 5 stars for their jajiangmien and Chinese/Korean style fried chicken. If spicy food is your cup of tea, and if this is your first visit, just go with their combo selection. They stir fry the vegetables and seafood to get that distinctive "wok" flavour before turning them into soup noodle. The boneless fried chicken is wrapped in crispy (not crunchy) batter, which is perfect for dipping. Finally, their janiangmeng... AH! If you see a Korean restaurant filled with Koreans nomming the same dish, you know they're good. read more

This is my family's favorite Chinese-Korean restaurant. We drive 2.5 hrs, and cross the border to eat their food. Every time we visit Canada, this is our must stop and take lots of to-gos for families and friends. Our favorite is Yoo-lin-gee (fried chicken with a cold dressing on a bed of salad), tang-soo-yook (sweet and sour pork), jja-Jang, and jjam-pong. The fried rice is also great. The service is always impeccable too! I wish they can open a business in the USA! read more

I came with a group of 8 people and we each ordered a bowl of black bean noodles and shared the a plate fried chicken. The black bean noodles come in a very large bowl and is super delicious! If you're looking for something that is really good value, I would definitely recommend it. The plate of fried chicken was definitely a great item to share. The chicken was juicy but nothing too special - it's exactly what you would expect in a Korean-Chinese restaurant. As a group we found the chicken pieces to be smaller than other korean-Chinese restaurants. read more

I always come here for their Jjam Bbong and Jjajangmyun. I like to pour a little bit of the soup from the Jjam Bbong into my Jjajangmyun which gives it more depth. This place is very popular with the locals so be prepared to wait 30 - 60 mins for a table. When you get to the restaurant though go up to the cashier to leave your name. read more

Great comfort food, full of flavour and variety. Realiable in the way that you won't have to receive unexpected change in the menu, quality, and quantity for a while. Most importantly, the location has no health hazards. The seating equipment can use a bit of an upgrade, such as the cracked couches. Service is minimal but gets the job done. I personally like the privacy they give, for instance, not ask you how the food is every 2 minutes during the first 10 minutes. read more

This is a decent chinese style korean restaurant. I like their seafood jajangmyun and vege on rice. Their tangsooyook is pretty good too. Although these chinese-korean dishes tend to be overly oily, I don't find this place that overlt oily (still oily though). I thought their pork cutlet (donkatsu) was very good - very thin slices of pork battered and deep fried. It was crispy, tasty and not too oily. It also came with a free spicy Jampong soup. The place is clean and offers lots of free parking. Quick to take order and serve but they would rarely come back to ask whether you would need anything else. The place is small enough that they expect to be called if anyone needs anything else. They claim to not use MSG. If so, the food is pretty decent. read more

Chui Hong is a great place for authentic Korean food! One of my friends took a bunch of us here, and I'd say its the best restaurant for authentic Korean food in Surrey, BC. I highly recommend their spicy seafood noodles, but be warned, if you don't handle spice well, I wouldn't try these noodles. I also would really recommend their black bean noodles! Their portion sizes are gigantic, so I wouldn't go here for a date if you and your significant other cannot eat a lot. I would say its a better place for groups. Be warned though, during lunch and dinner rushes, the wait is extremely long, so be prepared to wait if you want to eat during the typical lunch/dinner hours. read more

This is definitely my favourite restaurant ever! The staff is so nice and friendly, they helped me choose my menu. Everything tastes so authentic, it is very clear that the kitchen staff is passionate about their cooking. The wait can sometimes be upwards of 30 minutes, however, it is worth it. The food comes out really quickly and in large portions. Additionally! It is super affordable! You always have take a takeout box. 11/10 would recommend :) read more
