Read all the 5-star reviews at the side and ADD another 10 stars to each of them (and to mine!)-- that is how good Barb, Kay and their staff are. I am not exaggerating; I have brought my car to them for 20 plus years, for good reason. On the past occasion, they actually told the insurance company they were Not charging storage fees for my car; most companies-- people-- try to Exploit maximum profit; they did not ( I do Not know if they can waive those in all cases, but I had had a family member in hospital with serious medical expenses, which they were aware of). The work they did on the car itself was top quality. They treat Each and every car and customer as if it was their own, and give it "undivided" attention. I just purchased a beautiful Corvette that needed a blemish removed before a paint protectant was applied. I was referred to another body shop in Highland Park and they gave me an estimate that I thought was really high. I went over to Chuck's to get a second quote and Kay quoted me a price that was less than half of what the first place was. The work to be performed was exactly the same as the more expensive place. They had great reviews on Yelp so I decided to take a chance. I was told by a Corvette expert that my paint color, crystal red, was next to impossible to match. I asked Kay for the best paint man that she had. She confidently said that the car would be done in 2 days. She called me promptly on the second day and said it was ready. When I went to the shop, I could not believe how perfect the color match was for a difficult color. There were some streaks in the buffing that showed up in the sunlight so I took it back and met Luis, the man who did the work on the car. He could not have been more willing to touch up the buff work. This is definitely the best body/paint shop anywhere and most reasonably priced as well. They take great pride in being the best customer friendly place that there is. If you own a valuable car and need body or paint work done, this is the place. Luis is the best in the business and I would not hesitate to use them again for my Vette if need be. read more
