Talk about a hidden gem! This Chuck E. Cheese location is located in the half-abandoned (former) Vons shopping center. Who knew that a purported kids birthday party paradise was also a place for Adult Fun? I arrived here at 8 PM on a Sunday night (they close at 10) with four of my other twenty something friends to relive our childhoods. This place did NOT disappoint. With only two other families in the place, we pretty much had the place to ourselves. For $49.99 (coupon on their website) we got two large pizzas, 4 drinks (unlimited refills) and 120 arcade tokens. The pizza was greasy and delicious, the holiday themed animatronic stage show was excellent - Munch and the Make Believe Band singing the Dreidel Song was REALLY special - and the arcade games were FUN. I hadn't played Ski Ball in 15 years! Simply put, this place is a paradise, and I hope I go here when I die. P.S. If you imbibe, their policy is one beer per person per hour. Brought my Granddaughter here for her Birthday February 19,2019. The minute we walked in the door, the odor was horrible. The entire room smelled like dirty feet/socks. Don't know if this sour smell was due to wet carpets that didn't dry or what but, that smell lingered for our entire visit. The pizza was very good and all of the staff were great! This is the last time I bring my family here. The games like Skee Ball and games for the little ones will not COUNT appropriately even HIGH scoring. WASTE OF MONEY. Kids scored 600 points and all they could afford to get was tiny dollar toys which the kids were reasonable about, however they happened to be out of the ones they wanted. They told me they were out of inventory and were not able to get any from display case. That is absurd! Can't even get a little toy...only a few pieces of tootsie rolls. Compared to the other CEC locations I have been to, this one seems a bit crowded. However, I give a to the staff for keeping this place clean despite the crowd. A majority of the machines are working which is a for me because I usually spend half of my time here chasing someone down to give me tickets owed to my kids. Food came out fast too! read more

so, I have been to chuck e cheese when I was around 7 years old back in 1980. I went to showbiz pizza and saw the rock a fire explosion when I came to the last 3 stage in California. I was disappointed to see them in horrible conditions. I don't think you should replace the robots. Because you are the last location that has a 3 stage in California. So instead you should try to repair the robots. And um, chuck e's mouth looks weird. The reason why I'm giving you a 4-star review is because of the last 3 stage in California, and great service and good games. But, please repair the robots and don't replace them with a dancefloor. This place is awesome! I love coming here. The prices are definitely much cheaper than they use to be. The Pizza also tastes better..lol. This place decided to cancel a party few hours before my cousin's party time. It was very hard explaining to a child that you cannot celebrate your special day with family and friends at Chucky Cheese. Overall, horrible customer service and corporate was not willing to accommodate me and a future date or how to make it better. So, FYI have a back up plan...it's hard trying to find a place to have a party few hours before and accommodating for kids. read more

This place is constantly understaffed... Correction they have plenty of employees but 70% of them are just standing around not doing anything. I came on an extremely busy Saturday and they refused to have more than one cashier despite how long the line got. The manager just walks around with a clip board trying to look important but offers no assistance to his staff or the patrons. I wish I could say that I don't have this issue every time I come to this location but unfortunately it's like this every time. I would strongly encourage other parents to try and convince their children to have a birthday party else where. So I took my child for pizza and fun. Being a Tuesday evening, was a plus, we avoided the line and were seated in a heartbeat. On the ther hand, Being a slow day, Istood in front of the registers to order pizza and tokens, I wated for five minutes since there was no one there. So this other customer approaches the register to read the menu, then a cashier comes out and starts helping the lady in front of the menu. In the mean while I just standing there looking at flys. The cashier assumed the other lady was first in line and was answering questions for her and waited for the longest time for her to order. Cashier could have helped me while waiting for the lady to decide, eventhough she cut in line. The pizza was done fast, a plus there. but some of the game machines didn't even work, they were just taking your tokes. I'll just look for another pizza place. read more

Games were fun for my 3 year old. Not a lot of tickets given even when you hit the jackpot. She got three little toys with the tickets she did win she was happy. Ordered her an individual pepperoni pizza took 35 min to get our order hence the 2 stars. Way to long for a tiny one topping pizza. read more

Booked my son's second birthday here, when we arrived the tables had a torn piece of tablecloth on a small portion of the tables. when I asked the host if she could cover the entire table, she stated there would be a fee. I agreed to pay and then had to assemble my tables myself. food was good, host was nice but no where to be found when we needed drinks/cleanup. I was overcharged and upon contact with manager they stated there was "nothing they could do my card had already been charged"/ after finally getting in contact with guest relations after 3 days calling, they only refunded half of the mischarge.never again. read more

We took our kids here during the week for our 4yr olds bday. It was a school day and slow, which was perfect for us. The kids had a blast! They didn't have to wait to play toys and got to dance with chuck e. who then gave them xtra tickets to redeem for prizes later. The pizza was very good. My husband and I had the vegetarian pizza and it was yummy! The manager of the place was also very friendly. As we were leaving they double checked our stamped hands as a precautionary measure to make sure all our family's stamps matched. It was very nice to see that although we may have been one of the only families there, they still wanted to make sure the kids there were safe. read more

We booked birthday parties at this venue twice. It went from not great to just ok. There are other places to book a party in our area that are much better and comparable in price. So I would not recommend this place. The first time, it seemed to take a long time to get our food and we barely had time to eat before they moved on with the party. Also, we brought in a cake, which I had taken pics of only to end up with another. I don't know for sure what happened to the cake we brought in, but I'm assuming they had to replace it. They did a good job with the decoration and my son didn't notice. However, they didn't spell his name right on the cake! As soon as I began to comment on this, the hostess whisked it away to cut. But when I compared pics later after the party it confirmed this was not our original cake and I was bothered by the fact that they tried to pass it off as ours when they hadn't bothered to check the spelling of his name. We were given a discount but I suspect this was because I noticed the error. Second party, under different management according to the staff who led us to our reserved table, and I thought some of the comments he made to be unprofessional. Our hostess was around to serve us throughout the party, was very friendly and helpful. I felt they had overbooked parties for the space. Our party was tucked in the corner away from the stage, but the hostess did take the birthday boy closer to the performance so he felt a part of the celebration. Another thing was that this location had advertised 200 free tokens for booking a party on a Sunday, but when I booked online it stated 100 free tokens on the confirmation and we received 100 free tokens instead of the 200. For me, it wasn't worth bringing up as it hadn't effected our decision; however, since I am writing this review I feel that people should be aware of the possible false advertising. I booked the second time because that is where my son wanted his party. This is by far the worst place to ever book your childs birthday party unless you have a small group. I booked my sons 1st birthday here for 45 people originally. The woman told me I could change the number up to 48 hours prior even if it was going to be more people. I asked her if the rows were based on just children or adults as well and she said it was based on the total number of people. When I went in on the Tuesday before my party (which was that upcoming Saturday at 5:30 pm) the manager had told me that they were overbooked and that this has been happening recently. He told me to call back on Thursday to see what they would do about it. I called and talked to the GENERAL MANAGER and he said, you have one row and 3 booths on one side and 3 booths on the other for my 60 people party and that was it. He did not care that there were not going to be enough seats for my guests nor that we would not even be sitting next to eachother. I called corporate and they did not care either. Needless to say I cancelled my party and booked Adventure Park which was more than accommodating. I would think twice before booking your party at this location or any for that matter. They clearly do not care about their customers and made it very apparent. read more
