It's a huge place with lots of space for inventory and even an indoor dirt track with traxxas slash's to rent at a very reasonable price.

Always a nice treat for a visiting foreigner who thinks Americans don't like soccer. Only thing is they are pretty stingy about tasting beer, like do you really think 8 people showed up to waste your time and not buy anything? Idk that's just me, I've been to loads of breweries where you can taste 2-3 beers especially if it's your first time visiting, and no one bats an eye. Here I like the Martillo and the Breakaway. Food is usually great, they do a rotation of local food trucks and catering companies most often tacos but I've seen pizza or ice cream. The doors are wide open, you're basically in a metal oven with limited insulation, though they clearly tried their best it's still the valley... the coolest spots are more central where they have Big Ass swamp coolers running. If you come with old people they won't be able to hear sitting right next to them. Everything is clean an orderly, looks well-managed. Caters to a crowd that already has kids probably ages 35-40, I think the owners can probably try some ideas to bring in young people in the sub-30 range and more groups of singles. Club offers adult and kid sports and that works well, there's a nice sense of community going and you can also watch games on any of the large TVs. Mix of games on usually soccer even the random foreign league you've never heard of (not just Premier or UEFA).

(Due to the heat) we decided to roll the dice and come out to the park for some peace. It was completely empty and the wind picked up so it wasn't as hot in the shade. After playing on the toys we went to the little lake for a relaxing walk. No bugs or annoying flies but we did see turtles, rabbits, and a family of ducks (complete with 7 little ducklings ) we had a great time and I'm excited to come back!

This park is located next the the soccer fields that was previously named the State Farm park. This park is new and a great place to walks the dogs and take kids to play. There's even a nice man-made lake you can walk laps around. HOWEVER I'm giving this park 4 stars because I've seen teenagers here bring a giant bong to the park on a school day. Sorry I'm that person that doesn't advocate illegal activities. (call me a Debbie downer) I still enjoy this park and it's maintained very nicely our community needs to figure out how to not let it get overturned with bad activity's. As a women I still wouldn't come here alone after sunset. It's new so it can be barren at times which could be the perfect opportunity for something bad to go down.

Instead they stay with Clovis Unified who hates them and has so many rules that there is never any training due to closed fields. Not all coaches are bad at this club there are ones that truly care about development of all the kids, then there are some that play favorites and if you speak up they will punish your child, and they will ride the bench. When you go up chain of command nothing gets done. I do feel like the Youth Side of the program gets the worst side of it U6-U12. That is where the development and basic training should come from. They expect kids to just know. If you do not work on basics(throwing in a ball) or going through cones is meant to be done with both left and right foot and not just hurry through them, they will never know. Not correcting the problem at training, but screaming at them. How are children supposed to develop this way. Well I guess if your lucky your child will be a favorite and they will succeed. They do not play kids on the B team ready to move up to the A instead they pull from their favorites list. I have seen this comment in reviews multiple times so it cant just be me, making up the favorites and punishing for a parent speaking up. If nothing is being done about this, then it has to make you wonder who is running this crap show. It starts at the top. If they are just letting coaches get away with this behavior then it has to make you wonder, that they are in it for the other $$ reasons other then development. Not to mention create all these younger teams Red White Blue Green etc. Yet have no coaches. You have one coach for multiple teams. Again its about the $$ not the children. Why not give quality over quantity for once. There are a few good coaches but they too should run... Maybe think about coming back when children are older that all they seem to care about here are the older kids and ECNL.

My son has been playing for CA Odyssey since last March…read more My son is currently in U11 and has been playing since kindergarten. So far he has learned more this year about being a keeper than he ever learned playing on other teams. The entire staff loves soccer and does everything possible to ensure the kids are learning the basics of soccer, and having fun. There is no pressure on winning, but the wins come more often than not because of the training they received from the coaching staff. Bringing my son to Odyssey was the best decision I have made for my son since he loves soccer so much.

When it started they didn't let me know who was her coach, they had started practice and I had to reach out to her old coach (who wasn't allowed to coach) and he was able to help me find out who to contact. They ended up saying it was a confusion and so my daughter missed her first week of practice. Well my daughter won't be finishing it bc she did not enjoy this season, her teammates from fall were split up after they had let coach know she would be able to play with one of her teammate requested they ended up not doing so. Luckily we found another league and she is on to better things. Won't be coming back to ayso, they need more organization and communication . Also bc they refused to let Coach Dustin coach!

I would never recommend AYSO Region 73. We signed up our son to play for the fall in early August…read more We were told the season started at the beginning of September. As the end of August approached my husband and I attempted to find out what was going on several times by reaching out to the head, Lidia Avalos. Several attempts and we got the classic - "the coach will reach out soon." We never heard from said coach even well after the first of September and was never offered contact info. My husband finally asked for our money back, at which point Lidia laughed and hung up on him. I reached out to Rich who handled our region. He was helpful; however, even after talking to him on multiple occasions we still had troubles. He indicated our refund was on it's way in early September, but it never showed up even after repeated contact. Somewhere in the middle of this mess Lidia called to "make sure" we wanted our refund as she placed our son on a team. I reassured her we wanted nothing to do with AYSO especially after the blatant disrespect she showed us. Even after this conversation the refund never showed. Finally had to talk to our financial institution and dispute the charge which is how we ended up getting the money back. Apparently this happens often because they knew exactly what league when we told them we needed to dispute against a soccer league. Never again - after all this my husband and I both remembered after the first nightmare that is Lidia Avalos why we should have never tried to sign up our son again. So zero stars would be the rating if yelp allowed it.

These fields are kept up well considering the current drought restrictions and the restrooms are always fairly clean for not being checked hourly like at a restaurant. The facility is nice and I look forward to the city eventually expanding and adding the proposed baseball fields and park. In my star rating I did NOT include that AYSO Region 73 runs from this location. It is not fair to rate a park well or poorly based on another organization. Since Region 73 doesn't have their own Yelp page at this point I will say look what you are getting into. AYSO has ALWAYS been a completely volunteer organization including the board members that put in countless hours to organize a great soccer season for the kids. If you want to complain about lack of coaches or referees...VOLUNTEER!!! This is our now 6th season being with this region and I'm thankful it is ran as well as it is considering some of the complaints I have heard about other California regions. We, as parents, put in a lot of time and effort so that our children can have a great experience and have fun learning a great sport. As for a previous review complaining of the price and telling the region to hire coaches....costs I'm sure you aren't considering: field maintenance, uniforms, lights for night practices during the week, picture package, awards for top teams, and one of the most important the insurance they are required to carry in case your child gets injured during practices or games!
