Really cool little RC store in Exeter. They seem to offer anything and everything someone would need for their hobby or just to try it out. Came here this past weekend out of the blue since I was in the area and had a little time to kill. Yelp has a $8 special for checking in which gets you an RC car rental and 45mins on their track. I seem to have gotten the lady by surprised as she seemed to have never seen the coupon before but she honored it and I was on my way. The track is pretty fun and you get to run your call how you want it so long and you stay on track going the correct way and not purposely hit other people. I had a pretty good time. The yelp coupon really sweetened the deal. The track got a little busy for a little bit, but it seems people are always coming on and off so it's hit and miss. Overall a fun time. This place is a blast. Great indoor track with twists and turns. Also a rock crawler area if you're into that. Work area to do repairs and all the parts you could want or need are available. Friendly and helpful staff who was happy to explain RV car models to a rookie. It's a great way to have some family time racing around the track. They also had a game set up in a room where you were given a time limit to run around and press the button on lights that light up. Sort of like wack-a-mole but on the run. We had a good time playing that as well. It left me gasping for air but I scored higher than our teens and proved I wasn't washed up yet! read more

This place is awesome! My son recently got an RC car and this indoor track is just what we were looking for! Fun safe track, with plenty of space to play and spectate. There's also a large work space available to change out any parts or charge extra batteries. Recently had the pleasure of being in wonderful Exeter, California and came across this place. This is pretty much every RC hobbyist dream shop. It's a huge place with lots of space for inventory and even an indoor dirt track with traxxas slash's to rent at a very reasonable price. They have just about everything you'd need as a rc enthusiast. It's pretty much the most complete hobby shop I've ever been to. Staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. These guys do what they enjoy, rc cars, trucks, airplanes... and it shows. Kudos to these guys, hope this place stays around for a very long time. read more

They were super rude and un-welcoming telling us we should go to walmart and buy a cheap one. When we asked to see an rc car he said they break easy and didn't even take the time to show us around. Although we did end up buying one, their customer service is very unprofessional and very uncomfortable. read more

They are extremely helpful and have a good selection of parts. One of the gentleman there spent 20-30 min to help me figure out an issue I was having with a car that I didn't even buy there. It's that kind of service that made me decide all my purchases will be from here from now on. read more

This place was amaaaaaazing - such a find for us tourists wandering around the central valley! Our kids had a blast driving the race cars on the track, and begged us to stay for two hours. The prices were totally reasonable and we paid for two hours of race time for 4 separate vehicles. Wish they had a place like this in LA! read more

yesterday was my second visit here. it can be intimidating when ur about to spen 400 on something u dont know much about, but the guys here made it easy and let me know what kind of truck would best be suited to me. I kept comparing prices online and here , but decided to have the support and atmosphere of exeter hobby to supply me w my truck and its replacement parts. im very satisfied and look forward to blowing my paychecks here. read more

Had my son's Birthday party here last weekend. Huge room with plenty of tables and chairs, a foosball table and air hockey. We were able to bring our own food, cake, and they even let us put ice cream in their freezer. They provided pizza also. The kids had a lot of fun racing the trucks on the raceway. It's warm inside there though, that was the only downfall. Other than that we loved it and will definitely have another party there or just go for fun. The staff was very friendly and helpful and kept the trucks charged so the kids could keep playing. read more

This is a hard review to give. First of all...this will be our 3rd year in a row having our sons birthday here. We've enjoyed it every single time...except for this last time. The people helping us were great...however the "manager" was not. I felt he was rude and his so called "humor" was not amusing. It's one thing to make a little joking jab...but to be rude until the point of me saying "We will leave "...and then having him say "oh, Im just kidding " is absolutely unacceptable. This is not an opinion just of myself, but the guests we invited also. I was pretty embarrassed that we hyped the place up just to have the manager make it uncomfortable. I want to make it clear....it was the manager...NOT the owner. We have always dealt with the owner and have left completely happy. Hopefully the manager can get another crash course on customer service. Because I hate for this company to get another bad review just because of this man. read more

I've always had a very hit and miss experience here but my latest just might be my last. I couldn't even be acknowledged at any point of my visit and I was very interested in making a significant purchase of a drone. One employee was mostly chatting and did ring up a couple customers while another appeared to be on a computer the whole time. Neither bothered to even ask if I needed help or even glance my way. While I've never had a great experience here, this was the worst of them. They do offer a very good selection of hobby needs and that selection does keep improving over time. Great store! Their prices are very competitive and their service is top notch. They have a good selection of electric cars and many parts. The main part of the store has about ten huge 1:5 scale cars that are fun to drool over. The best part is the store has a big indoor dirt track where you can drive your cars as well as an area for driving rock crawlers and a substantial area for repairing your cars and charging batteries (There are very few facilities like this in the valley) You can also rent cars and drive them on the track for a pretty reasonable price. If remote control isn't your thing you will soon be able to rent realistic air soft guns and shoot zombie targets. The employees are nice guys and are happy to help you with any problems. All in all this shop is one of the best around and one that I'd recommend to anyone interested in RC cars. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! You won't be disappointed. read more

Pretty decent place that looks pretty nice inside. They have lots of differnt stuff and a pretty cool indoor offroad track. The main think i didnt like is the shop feels like a show room mor then a hobby shop and the staff always seems to have a "we are too awsome" attitude. They dont work on or tune anthing nitro and seem to be more set up for electric. if you live near them you might check it out and see what you think. just my opinion. read more
