They took time to look it up and gave me a price. I got with my wife and had her go purchase since I was unable to go due to work. Long story short , they claimed that price given over the phone was for a different card and that I had given the wrong description ( gave the exact description for the card) agreed to meet at a certain price for the inconvenience but then changed their mind. Ultimately they decided to choose greed over owning up to their mistake and providing good customer service. Do not recommend. P.S my wife felt she was treated poorly because she was female and didn't have a lot of knowledge of the product.

My husband and I were able to purchase some packs that we've never had the opportunity to buy before for great prices and got some really fun hits. The prices are reasonable, and the owner was very good about justifying prices on the singles I was buying. My only gripe was that the other employees aren't allowed to buy cards, so I had to keep calling back to see when the owner would be in. I think I caught him at a bad time of doing some traveling or something, so it was a while before I was able to do my trade-ins. There were cards here I wanted to put the value of my cards towards, so it was worth the wait. And I get why only the owner wants to be buying cards - he's very in the loop with the competitive scene and makes an effort to buy cards that have relevance or value as singles. Totally makes sense, it's just a little inconvenient as a customer. And on top of that, they have a large group of people who come here to compete on Pokemon TCG league (?) nights. Came here this past weekend out of the blue since I was in the area and had a little time to kill. Yelp has a $8 special for checking in which gets you an RC car rental and 45mins on their track. I seem to have gotten the lady by surprised as she seemed to have never seen the coupon before but she honored it and I was on my way. The track is pretty fun and you get to run your call how you want it so long and you stay on track going the correct way and not purposely hit other people. I had a pretty good time. The yelp coupon really sweetened the deal. The track got a little busy for a little bit, but it seems people are always coming on and off so it's hit and miss. Overall a fun time. When selling ETBs, to get a vibe how they would treat me as i just moved too town and its my closest local shop. I was initially offered around 60% 65% of market value on 151 ect. ect. which was disappointing. During another transaction, I asked about a dollar card and took time to do my own research. The employee assisting me rolled his eyes and made the interaction feel uncomfortable and dismissive. Even commenting "oh your price matching now." I countered with "no im not that was just my research" was saying i gave in for no drama handed over 3$. He then doubles down with change for the card i don't know he felt shame or just system said differently which im sure it did. Customers should never feel disrespected for asking questions or verifying values. As an adult now, I chose not to make a scene, but if that same attitude had been directed toward a child, a young collector, or a female customer, I absolutely would have spoken up even acted accordingly. This is a Pokémon and sports card shop--a place that should encourage collectors of all ages and experience levels. A little patience, kindness, and respect go a long way. The products and prices are ok, but the customer service and overall attitude need improvement. After much consideration will not be returning even tho i was due for 5% and 10% discount ‍ & thats alright never give in too bad business or bad people & never support them.! She is absolutely miserable giving ugly stares to EVERYONE, and even asking how her day is or small conversations she is rude. One time i came in real quick at 6:45pm they close at 7pm sold 2 of the same Misty's vitality cards and she signed and said fine i can do it really quick keep in mind she was sitting at the register sleeping cards and I waited for her to be available. She proceeds to role her eyes and tell the young woman helping her "can you go flip the sign so nobody else comes in" and looks directly at me. She does both my cards for $34 when at the time each card was work 40 individually. And I traded them for a box and I paid the difference. My husband went in yesterday and paid $190 for a etb worth $140 unknowing of what he's purchasing for me. The young lady helping him was nice but the same white girl with glasses just stared at him so ugly the whole time. The prices here are quite high for going market prices. The service is horrible 90% of the time. I only go here cause it's directly across the street, but im going to be going to a different shop from now on the experiences are just absolutely horrible.
