When selling ETBs, to get a vibe how they would treat me as i just moved too town and its my closest local shop. I was initially offered around 60% 65% of market value on 151 ect. ect. which was disappointing. During another transaction, I asked about a dollar card and took time to do my own research. The employee assisting me rolled his eyes and made the interaction feel uncomfortable and dismissive. Even commenting "oh your price matching now." I countered with "no im not that was just my research" was saying i gave in for no drama handed over 3$. He then doubles down with change for the card i don't know he felt shame or just system said differently which im sure it did. Customers should never feel disrespected for asking questions or verifying values. As an adult now, I chose not to make a scene, but if that same attitude had been directed toward a child, a young collector, or a female customer, I absolutely would have spoken up even acted accordingly. This is a Pokémon and sports card shop--a place that should encourage collectors of all ages and experience levels. A little patience, kindness, and respect go a long way. The products and prices are ok, but the customer service and overall attitude need improvement. After much consideration will not be returning even tho i was due for 5% and 10% discount ‍ & thats alright never give in too bad business or bad people & never support them.! She is absolutely miserable giving ugly stares to EVERYONE, and even asking how her day is or small conversations she is rude. One time i came in real quick at 6:45pm they close at 7pm sold 2 of the same Misty's vitality cards and she signed and said fine i can do it really quick keep in mind she was sitting at the register sleeping cards and I waited for her to be available. She proceeds to role her eyes and tell the young woman helping her "can you go flip the sign so nobody else comes in" and looks directly at me. She does both my cards for $34 when at the time each card was work 40 individually. And I traded them for a box and I paid the difference. My husband went in yesterday and paid $190 for a etb worth $140 unknowing of what he's purchasing for me. The young lady helping him was nice but the same white girl with glasses just stared at him so ugly the whole time. The prices here are quite high for going market prices. The service is horrible 90% of the time. I only go here cause it's directly across the street, but im going to be going to a different shop from now on the experiences are just absolutely horrible.

I went there Friday, 5/22/2026, and my wife and I purchased about $ 85.00 worth of items. For myself, I like the t-shirts at your store. They are only $3.40. I bought four of them. The next morning, I put the green one on I bought. The tag was marked XL, my size, I couldn't get it on. After looking at it, it seemed to be a medium, but, it was marked as an XL. I went back to Hobby Lobby that morning to return it for a XL. I was greeted by a first and I explained it must have been marked wrong. The first lady I spoke to became accusatory and made an allegation that I washed it and am now trying to return it. I tried to explain to her I buy these t-shirt all the time and even if it was washed, they do not shrink this small. the other lady who was there at this time said just go and get another one. This was the response I was expecting to receive. However the first lady was still jumping to the conclusion that I was trying something illegal to get or change a $3.40 t-shirt. she insisted the second lady call for the manager. The manager immediately told me to just exchange the t-shirt for another one. It probably cost me more in gas. I am giving 5 stars for the second lady and the manager for helping me and not accusing me of something illegal. I give the first lady 0 stars because all she did was jump to a conclusion I was a thief and for refusing to hear anything I had to say. Thank you to the second lady and the Manager. But the selection was wonderful. The sales were great. I was impressed by the customer service at the registers the supervisor notice that they were a long line and she brought up many cashiers to get through the line so I was super impressed that she was aware of the backup happening in the store. The sales were very good so I felt like I really got my money worth.

The prices are reasonable, and the owner was very good about justifying prices on the singles I was buying. My only gripe was that the other employees aren't allowed to buy cards, so I had to keep calling back to see when the owner would be in. I think I caught him at a bad time of doing some traveling or something, so it was a while before I was able to do my trade-ins. There were cards here I wanted to put the value of my cards towards, so it was worth the wait. And I get why only the owner wants to be buying cards - he's very in the loop with the competitive scene and makes an effort to buy cards that have relevance or value as singles. Totally makes sense, it's just a little inconvenient as a customer. And on top of that, they have a large group of people who come here to compete on Pokemon TCG league (?) nights. My recent experience was yesterday. I had placed a mobile order and normally I just do curbside but I was in the mood to take a look inside. I had my two toddlers with me. So the bad, this location is a bit on the messy side, very unorganized and staff is almost nonexistent. They even have self serve checkout and no workers at the front. The good, they had so many Christmas decorations, ribbons, wrappings etc all on clearance 70%off and I as able to grab a few items. Most of the things are priced high but there are times when you can find items that are on sale and if you're a member you can get points and get extra deals. Their mobile order/in store pick up is also self serve! They have customers orders in individual boxes on the rack and you simple grab your items if you see it. I had ordered multiple items and one of which was oversized and couldn't fix in that box so it wasn't there. They have a button you can push to get assistance and I pushed that button about 2 times and waited a while. Until someone finally came to the resister and said she can help the next customer in line but I pointed out that I needed assistance with a a mobile order. She approached me and was an able to assist. But honestly don't know if that button worked or not.
