About 5 years ago I moved to buying online but now that the comics themselves have scaled up there cost and these 5 cover issue nonsense is so common it's no longer a value to purchase online. I'll tell you that the two gentleman I spoke to on my two visits were incredibly kind and were able to answer my questions. I collect TMNT comics first so it's nice to actually see those comics in the store. I am getting back into XMen which is good so far and Absolute Batman is wild. I'm in my 40s and have been collecting comics since I was a kid. This is a modern comic shop done right. So I'll stop in twice a month.

The staff member or owner informed us that they have been there since April 2023. Upon entering we were greeted and informed about the place. We loved the decor which has picture of various things from Starwars to Cookie Monster. I didn't know this was a niche of just "CARDS". It was spacious inside. Free to play your own cards and bring card games you want to learn. They said just inform them off the card game you want to learn and they will make it happen! So cool. They have weekly events going on like tournaments that has an entry fee and prize . I did ask the owner a lot of questions as you can search cards and purchase cards there! Pretty impressive. There's a viral video going around that says everything you need to know about his character. In it, the owner looks at a father and says -- and I quote -- "GET YOUR RETARDED KID OUT OF HERE." Not once, but twice. What's even worse is that when the child's father tried to address it, instead of apologizing or showing any kind of decency, the owner doubled down and made it clear he didn't care about what he said. That tells you this wasn't a mistake or something taken out of context -- it's who he is. Businesses reflect the values of the people running them. And I refuse to spend my money anywhere that treats human beings -- especially children -- like they're less than. Supporting a place like that is the same as excusing that behavior, and I won't be part of that. There are plenty of businesses out there that treat people with respect and dignity. Those are the ones that deserve support -- not this one.

I walked in and realized it's a big shop with a huge selection. I've gone a few times since and the staff are always soo helpful everytime I go, happy to make suggestions and chat about comics.
