We go here routinely for birthday parties for our children and just general days out for fun and usually our experiences have been pretty good. However, today we had a horrible experience and it changed how we feel about ever coming back. Firstly, the employees were less than helpful and didnt even acknowledge customers while they were having personal conversations at the counters. Then we got a salad and noticed the eggs smelled rotten and the thousand island dressing tasted sour. We did notify the manager who tasted the thousand island right in front of us and after almost gagging himself told us that it was fine and that we could not get a refund or even just a new plate for a different salad. This place is grate for kids! The down fall is the costumer service sucks!!!!! Food takes forever to come out. The employees gave us the wrong black buzzer thing to get our food and when we went to ask about our food the first time (30min after order) they said "it'll be right up it hasn't buzzed yet" never came. Waited almost 40 mins. For our pizza which they weren't packed at all! They didn't even have cheese at the tables and when asked for some they told us to look around the other tables?! Really! When our pizza finally got to our table they didn't even bring us plates! When I asked for some the employee brought us three when there were eight of us. Our table ran out of napkins so my niece got the other one from the table next to ours and it was almost out as well. Considering that this place caters to children, it meets my expectations. The place is clean enough, the food is adequate, and the kids have a blast. Yes, it's overpriced and the service you receive is hit or miss; there are some really awesome people who work there, and others that don't seem to care or are just too overwhelmed to care, but again, the kids enjoy it and have a good day. At the end my children are the reason I even go there, so it works. I honestly don't understand why this place has bad reviews. I took my 2 year old son here and we loved it! Spent 30$ for a large pizza 4 sodas (the sodas come only in child size) but that's totally fine with refills l, and 30 tokens. The place did have a funky smell to it, but what do you expect for a place with a ton of kids running around? The # 1 thing I LOVED a the most is that they have the front door blocked off with a gate to keep track of who comes and goes. So for that 2 second moment you take to tie your shoe and your child decides to go run off to look at a game you don't have to have a mini heart attack that the child will run outside. But, the specialty pizzas were delicious, all of the staff was kind and helpful, and they were constantly cleaning things up. Even the guests were polite to each other. First off the parking is always a mission to find since it's always busy on weekend so if you don't wanna bother with that park by Winco or in the back. Second there was already a line out the door and everyone was cramp on the kid-check area. We waited for about 10/15 min and the line wasn't moving, I get you need to verified some stuff but kindly put the person to the other side while letting other people that was waiting in line and come back to that guests so you don't have a line piled up, and holding up businesses. Third there was dirty tables unattended and wasn't clean after the guests had left this is right after walking in the floors was also dirty along the way. We missed the first part of the birthday and everything they did for the birthday was VERY fast pace like they're trying to get it done so they could do a party right after I get you paid for 2 hours of party time but the party was already off to the party parents who was hosting the party, they arrived about 30 minutes early vs the normal 15 minutes they didn't meet with the party host and didn't know who it was until after the party started for 15 minutes and they were looking for who it was the whole time. I mean I've never seen an event this disorganized ever. When it came time to pay the host who took over one of the other host couldn't find the correct bill. The host Edna was kind enough to apologize for the inconvenience and fixed the bill mistake and when she came back the party mom told her about the situation she had and Edna was on top of it she handled it professionally and calmly she was understanding and apologetic about the whole situation and took care of whatever she could to make up for the bad experience the party parents had. I gave that situation a two stars. What also disappointed me as a customer and someone who has been in the field of line of work was that the floors was dirty, the food has been sitting in the window ready to be delivered longer than it should (3 managers, 4 employees kept walking past that window and ignored the fact that there was food there or the fact this 1 guy who delivered one set of food and then walked away) the service was a bit slow but I kinda get it was kinda busy. There's one kid that irked me the most we've been waiting for our to go order and it was taking awhile (ok I can wait a bit) but when I see the food I ordered came out on the window to be ready to delivered I see a employee walking toward the window to put the number back so I go up and ask if I could take my food since it's ready abc right there and he's goes "I'm not there yet you'd have to wait I'm only on number 62" um really? And he then disappeared for 20 mins during that time no one delivered any of the food that was still sitting there from the last time I ask the employee, by that time again 3 managers had walked by and 2 employees has also walked by and ignored it... um really?! Then this employee came from the back with a cleaning bucket to clean tables he picked up the cup from the table in front of the food window put the bucket back in the back and went to delivered food, gave me my ordered but they had forgotten the two cotton candy I ordered so I'm waiting some more while he tried to find out so he came back and said they're making it the cashier then goes back and it took her about 10/15 minutes to make but only came back out with one bag and then we advised her there was two order and she went and disappeared for another 10/15 min and then came back unhappy and handed it to me... I don't know if I'd come back to this location on a weekend and I'm not sure if I care to spend money here either. We'll see. Depending on my mood. read more

I am NOT a fan of CEC. Tonight sealed the casket. I came to enjoy my daughters birthday. The place was grossly understaffed. It was filthy way more then usual, pizza ground into the carpets, salad bar empty, soda machine drenched. I get things happen, I really do but this was awful. I would say over that over 1/3 of the games were out of order today. The ticket machines were all broken but three. Couldn't find game attendants anywhere. Would have just left one star if it was for the over all service I received it would have only been one star. This place is extremely understaffed and the worst customer service from the moment I walked in the door. I saw many families just walk in with their children WITHOUT getting stamped which is what first caught my eye. I have always brought my children here for years without the worry of them taking off out the door or without someone grabbing them. Now I saw families leave without getting their hands stamped which is so dangerous not only for the children but for this company! I preceded to get in line to order just drinks since the pizza was already paid for at the party I was attending. I was in line for over 15 minutes with only one person in front of me (never made it to order the drinks because it was just a ridiculous amount of time waiting) but during the time waiting in line the employee was trying to take their order then walked away to greet the people in the front then came back to continue with the order walked away again to the prize section to help another customer get their prizes. Came back they paid and she walked away again (when I was just about to ask for 3 cups for soft drinks) to answer the phone to take something to one of the parties. She came back and walked away from me AGAIN. at that point I just had it I walked away. Like 15 minutes later I went to go order wings had to wait again but not as long. I ordered a small order of wings FOR $14. Waited 45 minutes for my buzzer to NOT EVEN GO OFF. Walked up to the heat lamp where the food comes up my wings were sitting there cold and nasty from being under the heat lamp. Then finally took the kids to get their prizes and one lady is helping me takes off and asks the other employee to help we already knew what we wanted she tells me to hold on and helps the people behind me get all their prizes. I just wish I didn't spend a penny at this place it wasn't worth ONE SINGLE PENNY. I was waiting to be helped for the majority of the time I was there for a BIRTHDAY PARTY. back when I used to have the kids birthdays here they accommodated you very well. Whoever is in charge I sure hope you put your foot down with your employees because something very bad is bound to happen any time now. I will be happy to go back when i see some changes in this specific establishment until then I will be speaking about this matter on all social media platforms. I give a star because all of the kids had fun. But the place was trashed! There were plates, cups and food all over the floor ... everywhere. I dont mean one here & one there. I mean like whole tables that had not been cleaned off and were overflowing on to the floor. Also tissue that had been tracked out of the bathroom, because the bathrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned all day. The sinks were clogged with towels & the trash was over flowing, the big one and the little ones inside the stalls.I never expected good pizza from chucky cheese but I did expect a little cleaning up. The empty pizza trays & plates/cups sat on the tables for most of the party. We were there a little over 3 hours and I did not see one employee cleaning anything. As for the customers, you cant pick & choose who you let in but kids there were trying to take off chuckys clothes as he was singing & dancing with the kids. My expectations for this establishment were low to begin with on my most recent visit on Saturday, October 10, but my experience didn't even meet those. Please consider the following: * Cleanliness: This location was absolutely filthy...with garbage all over the floors; tables that had not been properly cleaned and disinfected; and games that had not been thoroughly wiped down. Just plain gross. I practically bathed in Purell when I got home. * Food: So awful, I wouldn't even feed it to my dog. My pepperoni pizza was beyond greasy, and it had about as much flavor as a piece of cardboard. The pizza was so atrocious it made me sick to my stomach later in the evening. To be fair, the salad bar looked decent, but I didn't purchase salad. * Noise: I realize Chuck E. Cheese is for kids, but I was not prepared for the never-ending cacophony of noise that assaults the senses when you're here. It is incessant...and interminable. And forget about parents even remotely trying to control their children. They arrive, and then let their snot-nosed kids run out of control all over the place. If I had to come here on a regular basis, I would bring ear plugs. Video Games: There aren't enough for older children or adults...like it used to have back in the day. This place needs more video games, pure and simple. Parents, this place is great for your kids for a little while, but definitely keep your expectations in check. It's Chuck E Cheese. So for me, the only place worse is Hell. But the place is good sized and fairly clean. I mean as clean as it can be when there's a bazillion kids running around the place spreading their pint sized germs. If you come for lunch Monday through Friday, you can do the all you can eat buffet for $5.99/adult, $3.99/kids under 10. So you're not paying the regular $17-20 for a pizza that's worse than frozen generic pizza. They have overpriced poor quality beer and wine. But hey, it's better than nothing. So two stars for allowing the parents to sit here and get tipsy while their kids go whack-a-mole. $30 for three of us including the $5 worth of game tokens (before beer and wine). One hour of watching screaming kids play mindlessly on video games and kdddie rides. My nine year old was busting my butt for me never bringing him to this place. He thought it'd be great. He's really too old now to enjoy it so I said yes to coming. (yes. I'm THAT kinda mom). But now he's been here and we'll never have to come back. My niece had her 4th Birthday party here and it was crap. I host parties myself and our party host was the definition of party pooper. No enthusiasm, monotone, boring, and did not get the party pumped up. Food came late, so we only had like 5 minutes to eat before they brought out the cake to sing and cut! P.S. it was an ice cream cake, so we had to eat it before it started to melt. The host didn't even bring a knife to cut the cake, so he was struggling to cut with a plastic knife. It was so pathetic it got to the point that I got up and started helping him pass out the cake,ice cream, and forks to everyone. When we were out of food and went to order more they only had ONE girl ringing at the register. The line was backing up past the rope entrance. A lot of games were down as well. To top it off while waiting for the second round of food we were told we had to move our seats to another table because they had to prep for the next party. Mind you we were a group of 30. So finding a few tables near each other to hold us was nearly impossible. They definitely over packed parties that day or something. I like the new wristband token scanner thing better than kids holding a bunch of coins. Besides the food being late, everything else was rushed. I have never seen staff work so hard to make so many ungrateful "entitled" parents happy. Claudia, General manager, truly cares about every guest leaves happy. It's a shame that corporate doesnt see that cutting labor is not the answer. If the staff actually felt appreciated by the corporation, this company would take off. The cooks are amazing. It is a little loud but maybe the purpose behind that is to drown out the annoying helicopter parents. I went early and there were plenty of employees and friendly too. I even saw some wiping tables down unlike other reviews. My kids had a great time playing games and meeting Chuck e. I mean really people what do you expect fancy linens and waiters at your table? Food is overpriced and terrible (our party ordered chicken wings, salad and pizza). Place is dirty, trashcans were overfilled and there was trash on floor, not to mention a disgusting and smelly bathroom. Only Pro: Kids seem to have fun, but can't adults take them somewhere clean and reasonably priced? Some of the adults seem apathetic to their children's whereabouts, which was measured by the amount of adults on their phones or talking to other adults, while their children roamed free. Surprisingly crowded, but mostly due to little ones running a muck. Not a place to go for good food or entertainment. Most games seem to be out of order or subpar, giving a miniscule amount of tickets for the effort and price. Overall rip-off of a place. Kids love this place for the fun games and prizes but the service is not very good, especially the food service. I went in a few days ago and ordered an individual pizza with Canadian bacon and olives, that's it, very simple order. 35 minutes later it shows up as a pepperoni and olive pizza. I informed an associate and the response was that he could have them redo it. I didn't have time to wait another half hour for a small little pizza so I just took the pepperoni off for my kid who doesn't like pepperoni but was still dissapointed that there was no Canadian bacon on it, his favorite. I was offered a couple of tokens but that doesn't help my kid eat the unwanted pizza. read more
