Whoa !!!! It's changed sooo much ! I hadn't been here in years. Prices are def up! I didn't eat any food as we had just had Toppers! I do remember the pizza being ok . The endless salad is a PLUS! A bit loud as so many kids are having fun. Loved it! My niece had a blast! So glad we stopped by. I purchased the pass for the jump zone for $15. My niece was given socks which have to be worn. You cannot reuse , so everytime you visit you must pay $15. Which I thought was strange but they have to make their money :) All I cared about was my niece having fun but I do see how it can add up for a large family:/ Staff was nice !

Where do all kids want to go for their birthday at some point in time? Chuck E Cheese. I can only review it as my experience a few times coming as a guest for birthdays. With that said I haven't purchased items here as it was always covered by the birthday girl/boys parents and family. While I can't speak to the price I can speak to the overall experience. This location in Ventura is a classic, it's been here as long as I can remember. It's nice for the kids to have a more old school nostalgic place to come. I will say though, as it should be, the place is revamped and remodeled. That's likely a plus for many but I do miss some of the nostalgia before they changed it. My biggest bummer is that they don't have the animatronic figures/characters anymore. Sorry but I felt that made the place (plus Chuck e of course). Not having the stage anymore opened up the space to allow for more tables, so I get it. But honestly the kids always seemed to like the dancing and moving characters and I'll miss those memories. However, I do understand with the times it's probably best to keep reinventing themselves and swapping out old ideas & designs. Service seemed really good here. As a guest I felt that the food came out pretty good in pace given how many kids and tables they feed. The staff seemed to really care about their jobs and took it seriously to provide the kids with a nice experience. I don't know how these people get hyped up everyday to come work with kids in such a loud and packed setting but kudos to them for staying in character and being positive. I was impressed. Chuck E also made a lot of appearances which seemed pretty nice of the kids. The food is decent for a child's amusement type place. Sorry but I've always liked the pizza here. Haha. I remember once a friend and I came once just to get the pizza and bounce. Again, I think it's that nostalgic taste we came to love and while it isn't a super amazing pizza, it always seems to hit and slaps at the end of the day. I do like it and will always have to have a slice. There were also some appetizer sampler plates ordered. I stayed away from the fries and garlic bread but the wings were crispy and tasty. Definitely good and better than I expected. J didn't venture out into the kids space and arcade but the kids all seemed to be having a blast and the area did seem cleaner and well maintained than I would have expected. It's definitely a great spot to come with your kids or to celebrate a child's birthday. I would say service was the highlight but the food was better than I would have thought and it's nice to see this place stand the test of time.

First thing I want to say is that Juan is amazing! He always greets us with a big smile and my kids remember him every time we come here, because of how friendly he is to them. I truly appreciate that there's someone like him working there. This place is mainly for kids and I love that he makes them feel special and welcomed! I had not visited this location in a couple of months and I was very happy surprised to see all the new games and renovations they've done! Everything looks and smells so clean. They have new games! My kids were so excited to play the new games. They also have a "trampoline zone" it's $10 per kid for the day. There's not many things for kids to do here in Ventura, so appreciate a place that is specifically for them! If you haven't been here in a while you get a card and you either load it with points or time. We usually do points so we don't have to worry about running out of time. You also don't get tickets anymore, the tickets are added into the card. Once you are done playing you take your card to redeem your "tickets" that were added to car and get a prize! I didn't get any food this time, but we have in the past and we like it!

The miss working the spot was pretty young , so perhaps lack of experience. I sat at a stool as I wanted to enjoy the vibes . I was never checked in on and I felt as though I was a bother . Drinks are canned . I asked for a glass and was told .. " All we have is plastic" as she walked away. Perhaps she's shy but there needs to be level of proper customer service. They offer Thrifty's icecream and sandwiches from Harbor Mart. The owners are super sweet, I have been following their business for awhile. A bit more energy when tending to customers would be appreciated . This spot has nice games and I love the murals! When I come back , I'll play some of the games and update my review . I really hope service improves.

You add funds digitally onto a card in maybe $5 increments or so. I think we spent 30-60 minutes in here. Really if you're good at pinball you can spend a little longer in here. If you play the other games then they are in a timed basis and you run out much faster. My son who is 11 loves this place. I don't mind it. I think it's cute and give a nice distraction and is a cute little pit stop when downtown or we don't have anything to do. They also have thrifty ice cream and sandwiches and drinks you can order. The staff has always been nice so that helps. It's nice to know you're supporting a friendly local small business.

We came in to practice and the place was mildly busy but still it was way too hot and the AC should be cooling this place! There is a small arcade area as well. Checking in and getting the shoes was very easy and the staff was courteous. I forgot how flat with no cushion the bowling shoes were. It actually got me a little nostalgic and brought back the memories of when I was in high school and bowling with friends. The lighter weight balls, especially the 8 lbs, had really small finger holes. It's probably made for kids but I'm quite petite and was only able to put about half my fingers in before it felt too tight. At one point the colored lights came on and it seemed more like a dance party. This was at like 3:30 in the afternoon and it lasted about half an hour so I didn't understand the reason for that. The lights actually made me bowl worst because it somehow affected my vision. It does get it a bit hot after a while, with so many people in there it would have been more comfortable if they turn up the air. All in all it was a fun afternoon.
