The staff is friendly, especially for little ones. The facilities are fairly clean. Some of the machines are not in service, but that is my only complaint. We got the summer pass, which I think is a fair value. We've also had birthday parties here. They do a good job! read more

We finally made it out to this Chuck E. Cheese! We loved coming to this place back in CA so we were curious to see how this one was. It was okay but sadly most of the games were not working properly. Chuck E doesn't come out as often as other locations and there are not as many rides as other locations. We did order a pizza and churros which were good! I thought my CEC days were over when my kids grew up but now I've got a beautiful grand daughter who I get to experience CEC with. When I was a kid, CEC was located on the south-east corner of 22nd/Craycroft. Early 90's it upgraded with more activities and moved to the south-west corner of speedway/Wilmot. Around 2014 it moved across the street.... It closed for a year after Covid but remodeled & reopened in 2021. It is a fairly large building. Lots of lights, games, activities. They have a cool dance floor. They have lots of yummy foods. All you can eat salad bar. Cakes. Drinks. Prizes. It's never been too incredibly busy when we go, mid-day, during the week.... We almost have the place to ourselves every time. All the staff are very friendly and kind. You see them always checking games - making sure they are working. It's always very clean inside. Sometimes we just go in, put $20 into the card machine, just walk around playing games for 45 minutes then leave... You can also PAUSE your game card if you have to leave. We really do love this place. GREAT for the younger children.. ....only ONE SUGGESTION: Turn the Chuck E Cheese photo machine AROUND... all the photos come out with a horrible glare from the windows in the back ground. read more

I brought my daughter to this new location, looking for something fun for her to do here in Tucson. We came to visit on a Friday night. It was very busy, but the place is very spacious. It wasn't shoulder to shoulder or anything. Ordering food was easy at the front desk after being stamped to come in. I absolutely LOVE the Child Check system where they stamp you with a special stamp on your arm and child's arm that has matching numbers. When you leave, you need to wait to be checked if your stamp matches your child's stamp. Just another thing to set my mind at ease about bringing my child here to play. It was easy obtaining a game card and loading it. My daughter could play instantly! Most of the arcade games work very well. There is the dog game where you pop plastic balls into a dog's mouth where the trampoline mechanism is broken and my daughter wasted some money on a broken game. Also, one of the Guitar Hero guitars doesn't work to strum down, but works strumming upwards only. Many times, the Photo Booth is either out of paper or out of order. Just make sure to really watch the people playing the games you want to play before you allow yourself and your child to play them to make sure they work properly. My four year old says "this is the best pizza I've ever had in. my life!" She loves their pizza and usually eats an entire personal sized cheese pizza. I also get a personal with toppings. It's a thin crust, not super flavorful, but decent for the money. A lot of choices are available for fountain sodas and iced tea. However, every time I've gone there, the floor at the soda station is always sticky. Understandably, children (and even some adults) spill their sodas. If it stays there long enough to dry and get that sticky, then the floors definitely aren't getting as much attention as often as it should be. The greatest thing is the cost of the arcade games. The games are so much cheaper than Dave and Busters and Round 1. Sure, there aren't as many here as those other arcade places, but the cost really makes up for it. I can let my daughter play (and replay) her favorite games for basically one credit per game. So, $24 lasts us for a while! Whereas my $24 at D&B's or Round 1 would be gone in about 5-10 minutes. On a final note, my daughter has always seen Chuck E. Cheese himself at every visit! She loves dancing with him and giving him hugs on the dance floor with all the other kids that rush over to him. He does get bombarded by children and adults wanting to get pictures with him while he's just trying to do his job and dance with the kids. I've rarely seen him able to do the whole dance number with the kids because adults are asking him for a photo on the dance floor with his child and they don't want him to dance. Just FYI, after the dance floor bit, he does wander the arcade floor to play games and take photo ops. That's the best time to ask him for photos. Not while he's dancing. Please keep this in mind and be patient. Take all the posed photos after his dance number with the kids. Birthday party packages seem very affordable! More affordable than other children's fun places. Definitely thinking of having my child's birthday party here this October. read more

Took my toddler in hopes of finding a more age-appropriate play area and was not only pleasantly surprised by the amount of activities that are little friendly, but by the staffing! Every engagement we had with a team member felt very genuine and helpful displaying amazing customer service! The service was so good this past weekend we decided to revisit again tonight and still felt like we had the best service! Not only did Chuck E engage with all kiddos, playing games and taking pictures, but team members took their time to cheer up my little one when my toddler was having a hard time saying goodbye, making her time even more memorable than expected. I have to admit I have not been a Chuck E. Cheese fan historically...we just simply stopped going because it was so bad...machines wouldn't work, staff were distant or unavailable, and it was dirty and way too expensive. We made a visit first week of October 2025 and I can say they have made a 180° turn in terms of quality. The machines were all in working order, it was clean, the new bouncy area and ninja cage were new and safe. It was filled with happy kids. The technical manager is constantly floating the floor assisting and making sure everything is in working order. This was definitely worth the money and will be a monthly experience for us! The young woman that works the front desk...has been a regular face there, is consistently one of their better features! I so wish I could remember her name...am in my 60s...so I get a break on that one! read more

Today the workers were short staffed and also short on supplies but they had the best attitudes!! I'm assuming the young girl up front was the manager. She was having to run around being the cashier, the cook, helping unlock toys that were being bought and much more. The young man up front named DJ was also patient, had a great attitude, and was also running around multitasking.  All the employees did an awesome job under the stress they were experiencing. this was the worst customer experience I've ever seen. The person at the front was to busy FaceTime with AirPods in to take are order then told us to "just order from the app" so we set down and ordered it took 68 minutes for the pizza to come out with the drinks. Then we proceed to the drink station, and every one, but Pepsi was out, Went to the front and asked if they could help out and they said no because they are short staffed and both employees sat back down and continued with her phone calls on FaceTime. It started at 3 p.m. and ended at 5 p.m. Initially, I was disappointed as we had to wait 32 minutes to receive tokens, cups, and paper plates for a party of anxious toddlers. Although slow, our hostess was accommodating when it came to the fact that we had to wait a half an hour for the aforementioned items and gave us a cup full of extra tokens for our "inconvenience." We ordered the basic party pack and included goodie bags which were generous lies and hide age appropriate toys, stickers, coloring pages, and just a few candies. For approximately $300, I would have to say it was worth it because I had to do nothing but show up. They even provided candles & a lighter, which I forgot. Cake plates, forks & napkins. Took my baby boy there for his birthday. It was just mom, dad and brother soo very small outing. But l was very surprised when I told them that it was his birthday. I grew up with Chuck E. Cheese, so when I walked into the Tucson location and saw the stage, presenting the 6 ft. (7 ft.?) tall animatronic mouse and his bandmates, I was immediately transported back to being a five year old girl, leaning at their feet, gazing up in rapt adoration, watching the same group of animals (and one random Super Mario Bros. looking dude) rock out. Besides the usual arcade staples, the other very cool thing was the twisty, windy, maze of a crawl tube suspended from the ceiling that spanned a third of the space. Any place that makes me wish I were a child again, or at least remember how fun it was to be one, deserves a giant gold star and a cookie. I also really liked the layout of this CEC, which distinctly separates the little kid games from the bigger kid ones. And even though we went on a quiet Thursday afternoon, and it was nothing near the madhouse it must be on weekends, I would seriously consider hosting one of my kiddo's birthday parties here. Downside? The food is overpriced and only bordering on decent - but that's as standard as a skee ball machine for a business like this. The staff was extra sweet and, echoing the sentiment of other Yelpers, it was the cleanest Chuck E. Cheese's I've ever stepped a mommy-germ-conscious foot in. Remarkably booger-free! The rides and games were all in good working order. nothing like the Chuck E. Cheese we used to take our own children to when they we little! We had found a coupon online for $20,* you got a medium pizza, 2 sodas & 25 tokens. What a fantastic deal. The grandkids are 3 & 18 months, so they don't eat a lot! The rides were a hit! They are only 1 token each & most of them held both kids. There is a giant rocking horse that fit an adult & both grandkids. Chuck E Cheese himself came out 3 times while we were there. He'd do a little dance with them then told the kids kids to sit on the floor. He then threw out tickets for the to scroll for. The first time he even threw candy. obviously the kids were delighted! Mt family and I go to Chuck E Cheese every few months. It's great for toddlers and small children and Chuck E Cheese himself does a live show often enough to keep the kids well entertained. I really like their pizza and they have the best salad bar in town! Definitely worth the money paid for, i had my older daughter's birthday party about 6-7 years ago and it was a terrible experience, machines didn't work, but now i called in and they assured me everything is different now with new management, etc. and boy were there right! They have revamp their whole system with the e-cards and new machines, plus they have an awesome staff, especially Leonna (hope i am spelling her name right) she was an amazing hostess and you can tell she was genuine, she was just being herself so it felt like you were getting service from someone who really cared about their job and the customers. Even the parents at our party wanted to do their birthday party there because of the service we received and the experience the kids received even down to the Chucky Cheese Mascot and the workers who assisted Chucky, all were bombdiggidy. GREAT GREAT GREAT experience I had at this Chuck e Cheese. Some months ago I went and had a not so great experience because I waited over an hour for our pizza. They had forgot about it until I reminded them and they didn't seem to care. This time I went for the lunch buffet and had an AMAZING time. While my daughter ran to our table crying because she didn't get a chance to hug chuckie (he didn't hear her) I went to the front area and politely asked the girl if chuckie can mend my daughter's broken heart and come back out for one hug. She not only had him come out, he also played a game w her! I thanked Chuckie and Loraine and while also expressing how the gentlemen who was cleaning the tables was so polite and nice, she mentions that was Chuckie. She made two little friends there (twins) and they had such a good time. My daughter doesn't stop saying how she has had an amazing day. Update to my last review: Katie was our host. I made reservations to have my son's birthday party here for the first time and contrary to what we thought a chuck e cheese party was going to be it was super chill. We are so used to the typical ppp where you have to run around with your kids and make sure nobody walks out the front door with them. I love that they stamp your hand and children can only leave with the adult that has a matching stamp. This made it really nice for the kids to get their freedom in while having some fun in a safe environment. Our server was Katie, she was amazing! Extremely friendly towards the birthday boy and very personable with myself and my husband. Pizza, drink cups and tokens came out fast. They allowed us to bring in a personal pizza and cupcakes​ we ordered from a separate company. Our son has multiple food allergies, dairy being one. Let me just remind you the word "cheese" is literally this place's middle name but I swear they were the ish with keeping things clean. Being understanding of the entire situation with the food allergies was a huge weight off our shoulders. When it was time to clean up our spot she even offered to help us take gifts out into the parking lot to our car which goes way above and beyond what we expected. Needless to say she got a great tip because her service was on point the entire time. I have zero complaints. We had 12+ kids and adults we added in and still spent less than $300. Whether you are taking your kids out for just a fun dinner or having their b-day party there, do it during the week. If you want to torture yourself by going Friday - Sunday, so be it. The pizza is on par with Peter Piper, maybe slightly better. There's a lot of games, some understandably a bit worn out, but the kids love it. Down - they don't serve beer. Up - You can just hang out and let your kids go do whatever because they are very observant about not letting kids leave without their parent/s. Everyone in the family gets stamped with a number. First this review is mostly about the experience for kids. If you have kids between 2-3 this is an iffy bet. The games are definitely aimed at older children, the few games that are aimed at this age span are old and lame and the prizes that are able to be collected for redeemed points at a level that a 2-3 year old would accumulate are not really suitable for this age span. The other issue is the overhead tunnel, if your child is an adventurer you most certainly do not want them up there. Extracting them once they got up there, got lost or disoriented or just didn't want to come down would be stressful for you and the child and time consuming. If your child is under 2 just avoid this place like it is the plague, because it most certainly will be a vector for your child to get some variety of a kiddy kennel cough. If your kid is over the age of 3 then they may enjoy what is to be offered but the majority of the games are not video games like the chuck e cheeses of lore but more like casino games where you put tokens in to try and get a bunch of tokens to fall out, or you set up a race of lights, etc. I watched many a kid, put in their token watch it fall shrug their shoulders then move on to the next "game" to try it again. Of the actual games: the skeeball was rickety and impossible. The ramps were loose causing the ball to fly wildly and very few of them actually worked and as I mentioned before the younger games, like whack a mole were old and lame. The robot musicians have definitely seen better days and it is more like a zombie band with erratic arm movements, dead eyes and unsynced singling. Finally the food: they have a sign that says "New Pizza Recipe" or something which makes me wonder what the old pizza was like because this new recipe is akin to a piece of cardboard with some toppings on it. The tomato sauce is bland, the cheese is rubbery and the price is high. It took almost 40 minutes for our pizza to arrive on a night when it wasn't very busy. Best bet: wait until your kids are old enough to go with an unsuspecting adult, drop them off, sneak out to Beyond Bread, enjoy a delicious meal, then return later to pick them up, sterilize their hands and faces, and clothes etc. then go home happy and content. Oh and drop the poor adult that went with them at the local insane asylum. read more
