Overall I would say that the hotel itself has good employees that are trying to keep the place clean and enjoyable. The furniture and carpet in the room are tired and need to be replaced. My husband booked this room for an overnight stay. The walls were stained, there was hair throughout the bathroom, the beds and sheets did not appear clean, the carpet was filthy, and even the TVs didn't work properly. I was originally assigned Room 128 and, after reporting the issues, was moved to Room 230. Unfortunately, the second room was no better. It was clear that the problems weren't isolated to one room. I honestly felt uncomfortable staying here and would have rather slept in my car than spend another night in this hotel. I expected much more from an Embassy Suites, especially considering its ratings. If cleanliness is important to you, I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else. This stay was incredibly disappointing.

It is so peaceful and I felt as if I were in the mountains isolated away from the city. If I were planning a wedding, I would certainly come back to this place. The owners are gracious and very accommodating. They even have a special dressing room for the bride to be. Also, there are two kitchen areas, one for serving and the other for preparing any food items. When our retreat was over, several of us were actually invited to go back down a dirt road and look at the horse stables. Minus 1 star cuz the floor's concrete and hurts your legs after standing/walking on it for 2 hours. There were chairs but they were all filled up. Most of the chairs didn't have padding either. I don't think added more chairs is an option because there would need to be a riser to lift the back rows up so people could see. As this is a multipurpose facility there's limits as to what can be done. Hey, it would be great for Fight-Club! Oops, I'm not suppose to talk about that.

While I was there for the Comic Con the owner was actually wandering around asking vendors/artists how everything was and was it set up well for them, which I really appreciated. It is a large warehouse and the parking is in ample supply here. It's a little tough to find if you're not familiar with the location, it's behind a large RV sales place just off of I-10 and Irvington. The bathrooms are quite dated and there are only four stalls in the women's restroom. Overall though I think it's a good facility.
